June finally tells Optimus how she feels about him.

Ever since June met Optimus she couldn't help but have a crush on him. He was kind, soft spoken, wise, brave and he would never harm anyone who was good. She desperately wanted to tell him how she felt, but each time she tried he was always gone. One day when she drove to the Autobot base and got out of her car she walked over to Ratchet.

"Ratchet, is Optimus here?" June asked the medic who currently wasn't too busy.

"He's on the roof." Ratchet told her.

"Thanks." June said before she went to the elevator.

Ratchet smiled at the nurse, knowing exactly why she was looking for Optimus. It was a good thing that Jack was out with Arcee, otherwise he would have overreacted. As soon as June was on the top of the Autobot base she saw Optimus sitting down and she walked over to him.

"I hope you don't mind having company." June said shyly once she was next to Optimus.

"I do not, Miss Darby." Optimus said politely.

"Call me June." June told him.

"Very well, June." Optimus said, gently picking her up and placing her on his right shoulder.

As soon as he let go June sat on his shoulder and looked out into the desert. It was sunset and the view was breathtaking. Optimus sensed that June had something to say, but he didn't want to seem rude if he asked.

"Optimus, I think there's something you should know." June said after a while.

"And what would that be?" Optimus asked her curiously.

"I know this is wrong, but I really like you, as more than a regular friend. I know it's silly, but I can't help it." June said, a light blush appearing on her face.

"June, I cannot say that I do not feel the same way. There are many qualities in you that I find attractive." Optimus said softly.

June smiled as she kissed Optimus' cheekplate. Optimus smiled too, his spark feeling warm after the confession. He knew that getting into a relationship was risky, but it was worth it.
