During a meeting with the Autobots, Shiro notices how Arcee keeps looking at him.

After being able to meet up with a few Autobots from the previously known Team Prime, the Paladins and the Voltron coalition might finally have the upper hand in the war against the Galra Empire. Pidge just barely managed to keep all of her questions to herself during the meeting; she was just so fascinated by the Autobots. Everyone was in awe of the large metal titans, even Coran and Allura who thought Cybertron was nothing but a myth. Throughout the entire meeting, Shiro couldn't help but notice how often Arcee kept glancing down at him; the look on her faceplates was one of deep thought.

The Galra once tried to take over Cybertron, but they had to retreat after learning that they were no match to the Cybertronians. Optimus was horrified to learn that so many planets had been taken over and even destroyed, and so many species had been nearly completely wiped out. The others, even Ratchet, were willing to help out after everything the Paladins told them.

"Yes, we will help you fight this war, Princess Allura." Optimus said towards the end of the meeting; he was more than willing to save all innocent lives across the universe, as were the others who believed in the Autobot cause.

"Thank you, we are very grateful for your help, Optimus. With your help, the universe will be a safe place for everyone." Allura responded in a polite tone; she was very grateful that the Autobots were willing to become a part of the Voltron coalition.

A barely noticeable smile crept onto Optimus' faceplates as he looked down at Allura; she was so young, yet she was showing signs of being a good leader. With the meeting being over, Pidge walked over to Ratchet and started asking the questions she worked so hard to keep to herself; she wanted to know everything about Cybertronian biology. Keith just kept to himself while the others got to know the Autobots better. Shiro walked over to Arcee who was minding her own business.

"You're Arcee, right?" Shiro asked the blue and pink femme once he was standing in front of her.

"Yes." Arcee replied in a simple tone as she looked down at Shiro; he looked so much like Jack, her former charge and Human friend.

"I couldn't help but notice how you keep looking at me." Shiro pointed out, hoping that he wasn't overstepping any boundaries.

Arcee's optics widened a little when Shiro said that he noticed how she kept looking at him. He looked extremely similar to Jack; she could have sworn that he looked like an older version of her charge. However, that wasn't possible since Jack had long since passed away many years prior from old age. For a moment, Shiro regretted saying how he noticed her looking at him during the meeting.

"Shiro… You remind me of a dear friend of mine that I knew a long time ago." Arcee answered after she vented, her spark aching as she spoke.

"May I ask who?" Shiro queried with curiosity, wondering who her dear friend was.

"His name was Jack Darby; I was his guardian back when Team Prime was stationed on Earth." Arcee told Shiro, briefly remembering when she first met Jack.

"Jack Darby was my great, great, great, great grandfather…" Shiro responded under his breath; he didn't know that his ancestor knew the Autobots.

Arcee smiled for the first time that day; it was an honor to meet one of Jack's descendants. Shiro wanted to know about how Jack met the Autobots, so Arcee told him about the day she met Jack while saving his life and how Raf and Miko came to know about the Autobots. Shiro listened intently as Arcee told him about some of the things Jack did and how he was the first Human on Cybertron. It wasn't long before the other Paladins walked over to where Shiro was standing in front of Arcee so that they could listen to what she was saying. What started out as a formal meeting ended up with the Paladins listening to the Autobots' stories about their time on Earth, particularly of when the kids and June became honorary members of their team.
