02* The Ratio of Importance

For this month, I will tell you about a topic dear to me. A topic most of the people found hard to do, even me, and this topic is about Importance.

You know guys, importance is a thing that is a part of our human blueprint as an individual that has certain routines or work that do every single day. It is an implied part of our system; day and night, sleep or awake, we do it no matter what are the circumstances may be.

But for this topic I would like to emphasize the thing I call 'Ratio of Importance'.

You may ask me: "What is it?"

Well, it is a measurement of how your daily priorities were divided. It shows what kind of person you are, what kind of personality or state you are undergoing.

Prioritising things varies among us; it differs from person to person, customs and culture. That is why when we see things important to us but not to others, we tend to wander or ask ourselves why only you or a handful of individuals do the same prioritization.

Sometimes, we may never understand why those persons first do the things we do later and vice versa.

To be honest, we do not have a right to dictate a certain person what to give importance first. We do not need to shove off our personal opinions about their personal stuff.

But why am I here?

Why am I telling these things?

Its because, there are some personal things that can't be done alone; there are some things designed to be made by more than yourself: You need a person more to make it.

Okay, now maybe you guys are a bit confused:

I am talking about Importance, yet we have gone talking about dictating, personal stuff and planning.

Maybe you may think: What is the connection?

The connection I want to show you between these things is: you need to consider aspects that is common to us humans. An attribute that influences the seeding of our prioritizing things — and that is Time.

Time is the worst enemy of priority; it influences so badly, we tend to drop some important things we need in our daily life.

-----
Time can build; Time could destroy.

It can make you immortalized forever; it can make you also be forgotten till eternity.

So how time ruins and builds our 'Ratio of Importance'? Here's how:

Imagine that you have shopping cart and you are gonna buy some stuff. We label the shopping cart as Time and the items that you will buy as Things you need to do.

As you shop along, putting things in the cart overtime, you will notice obviously that it starts to be crowded: you became restricted in adding more things in.

Same applies as our priories, we do not have unlimited space to do ALL of the things we want to do; we are restricted by space and time. That is why we tend to forget or even leave out a certain thing just for the sake of other things.
------

Now, tell me what is your Ratio of Importance?

Is it in this format?

40% Online: 10%Offline: 50%Necessities

Or

60% Reality: 40%Fantasy

Or

90% Self: 10%Family: 0%Others

No matter how you build your Ratio, one thing is certain and will always happen:

One thing will be given a huge importance; one would be given less and you cannot make them all fair.

Some persons say that they could balance things out they make between:

School, Online Life, Family, Self, Work, Leisure, Et cetera.

But it all ends up on frustration and anxiety. You want to keep more but in reality, you are losing more. Having too many things at a limited time will take its toll, and that will make your life more complicated and confusing.

Try to focus more on the things that you need, and not on the things you want.

I am not saying that doing the things you want are not okay but what am I telling you guys is: We do not have too much time to burn more on some secondary things; we only have 24 hours everyday — that is all what we have. And holding the opportunity to pull off much more important things is good for your well being.

Do you want to know why a day has 24 hours?

Because God did the first Ratio of Importance to humans and 24 hours is all we need. He set the Ratio for us to follow.

8 hours for sleep/ rest,
8 hours for work and
8 hours for family/ relatives.

You see up there, even God knows what we need in our lives; what are the things that we must prioritize. He did set a basic Ratio in all of us, no matter what religion you are in: Christian or Muslim.

We need time to rest to replenish our strength after a day's work; we need time to work in order to live and buy our necessities and finally we need time for our relatives and family to ease up your tired body and soul after your work.

And then evolution and modernity came to mankind, these three basic Ratio of Importance became many, just to satisfy one's desires and ambition.

And now, technology came and gradually these three Ratio became depleted to some of our fellow humans. Technology became superior to them amongst the share; needs became less important, leading many people to sadness, hate, scrutiny, discomfort, deaths.

We need to bring back the true Ratio of Importance back at our lives; we need to have a better lives than what we have right now. We need to treasure or give importance to our self, to our relatives and unto others.

Even you start small, still adding these three back at you will make you a better person than ever before.

And that will lead me to my conclusion of:

"The true Ratio of Importance has never been at our hands, but at the hands of our mighty dearest creator."
