Gnawing at the insides of his lips,Seokjin tiptoed inside Jeongguk's chamber,only to find the young prince in a desperate search for something infront of his large closet.

"Can I have the honour to help the groom with something?", he mused, gaining the attention of his younger brother.

Jeongguk took a glance at him and groaned in frustration.

"My bows!"

"What?", Seokjin squeaked out, puzzled.

"My bowties!, Jeongguk huffed out in annoyance.

"There was a whole set in my closet. How can they just disappear?!"

Seokjin nodded, mouth slightly agape.

"Ah...", he mused as he walked towards the younger.

"Are you sure those are here?", he inquired, tilting his head to the side.

"Jimin used to-", the younger stopped himself, digging more into the set of his attires.

"Well Jimin has requested me to tell you that your set of bowties are inside the left drawer...", Seokjin informed in a neutral voice.

After awkwardly fidgeting for some moment, Jeongguk dragged open the afore mentioned drawer of his closet.

"Ggukah...', Seokjin whispered and stood beside the younger prince.

"Do you want to get married?"

Jeongguk's hands stopped working.

"What?", he blurted out, his bambi eyes widened even more as he stared at Seokjin in shock.

The older sighed.

"Gguk... You... you are very precious to all of us.You know that, right?"

"We have- All of us.... We have always wanted the best for you. Always wished that you will live a happy and healthy life."

"But....", he trailed, caressing Jeongguk's arm as the younger frowned at his words.

"But you don't seem to be.... happy Ggukah..."

"I mean it's...it's your wedding today. You're about to get married to the love of your life, to your childhood companion! But..."

"... Why can't I see that happiness on your face Gguk? Why are you being so annoyed because of a mere bowtie?! Why does it look like you're doing all of these just because you have to do it...not because you want to do it?"

"Hyung!", the younger's voice raised in surprise.

"What are you even-"

-"Listen...Gguk... I'm not trying to prove anything. I'm just... I just...don't want you to regret any of your decisions."

"I used to think that you and...Jimin are...made for each other. Because,he used to understand you even more than me and Soo... He used to... bring the widest smile on your face."

"But I can't... see that smile anymore, Ggukah...", Seokjin sighed once again.

"And that's why I'm asking you this before everything goes beyond our control. Do you....", he frowned,gulping a little. "Do you actually want this wedding?"

"Do you...still want Jimin as your life partner...?"

"Hyung... Hyung wait.", Jeongguk halted the older, blinking rapidly as he huffed out a shallow breath.

"Hyung!", he exclaimed yet again, his lips curved into a weird smile.

"That was.... I mean...", words crowded at the tip of his tongue,although he didn't know how to actually utter them.

"Hyung you're just... umm... overthinking...", he managed to mumble, cautious to not hurt his brother's feelings.

"I'm overthinking....?", The elder raised his eyebrows. "I hope so..."

"I promise hyung, nothing is wrong between us. I mean... I mean yeah, we fight... quite a lot nowadays. He keeps supporting that bestfriend of his-", the alpha stopped abruptly, turning his head sideways as he continued.

"And yeah he never tries to understand how much worried I am. But it's true that I never try to understand his concerns about Taehyung-nim either.", he sighed.

"So it's not entirely his fault. And anyways...it's not like we have any doubt on us! We are just facing some problems, that's it. But that doesn't mean that we're not made for each other, right?"

Seokjin pursed his lips.

"Right.", he muttered, nodding in understanding.

"But I was just-"

The younger cut him off by his small laugh.

"You're just being way too worried..."

"And protective towards me!", he chuckled, his toothy grin making his elder brother smirk a little.

"I think you're right.", the omega mused.

"We tend to get way too protective towards each other, it's... It's in our blood...", he stated and the younger prince obviously didn't miss the suggestive look in his eyes.

The younger huffed, his mouth agape in the sudden realization.

"Did you just...?"

Seokjin laughed heartily, ruffling the younger's dark brown hair.

"I'm glad that you understood what I wanted you to realize...", he giggled, earning an embarrassed scoff from the alpha.

"Yeah Ofcourse I did.", the younger prince's lips create a small pout.

"Ggukah...", Seokjin held his brother by his shoulders and smiled at him genuinely. "I know that you're... scared..."

"I know that you're worried about me... And I know that you think Taehyung is the reason behind my complications..."

Jeongguk's facial muscles stiffened, hands turning into fists as his gaze wandered over his brother's pale face.

"Well... maybe that's... partially true... But...Jeongguk, he is the reason why I'm still able to fight against these complications. And that's  the biggest truth of my life!", The elder smiled, caressing Jeongguk's shoulder blades.

"Promise me something Ggukah...",he held the other's right hand in his own, rubbing it slightly as his eyes started glistening.

"Don't hate them...", his voice wavered.

"Hyung...", The alpha murmured but found himself getting numb as Seokjin guided his hand upon the older's swollen stomach.

"They are... they are mine Gguk...", the omega tried his best to make his voice firm.

"He... is a part of me..."

"And Taehyung.... well, he... He owns me. My heart, my soul... every bit of me..."

"And they-", Seokjin couldn't control himself anymore as he broke down, hissing cause he didn't want the situation to end up the way it had.

"Hyung...I'm sorry...please!", Jeongguk cooed,enveloping the older in his tight embrace.

"They don't have anyone else other than me, Ggukah...", Seokjin sobbed quietly, warm tears streaming down his cheeks as he buried his face on his brother's shoulder.

"Tehyu-hyung...", he hiccupped. "He had gone through a lot... He still is!"

"He stayed here just because of me... He could've returned to his kingdom but he didn't ... Because he has always made me his first priority."

"He wanted to see me as a King... He never once said that we should go to the Northern Kingdom because he wanted me to be here with my family..."

"Everyone can only see how he behaves with all of you but you know what Ggukah? He is the one who is being misbehaved with."

"Can...can you imagine being in your own birthplace... and being treated as an outsider?"

"He has been treated like that since his childhood, Gguk... And he still is...",Seokjin pulled back,wiping his cheeks and sniffling as he murmured.

"Jimin wanted him to be his best man.And I know that Taehyung wanted it too.... but... He refused at the end..."

"Because he didn't want you to be mad at Jimin... He was afraid that you will be disappointed on your special day if he participates in your wedding..."

"I...",Seokjin's face crumpled as he rubbed his eyes in order to wipe off his tears.

"I can't see him like this, Gguk...",he whimpered."I can't see my family like this! I want all of you... all of you to be happy... and together..."

"Is that too much to ask for?!"

Jeongguk shook his head vigorously.

"No... No,hyung..",he chanted."I'm sorry..."

"Please don't hate him... Don't hate them Ggukah... Because even if I become unable to be with them,I want all of you to be there with them on behalf of me...",Seokjin muttered calmly.

"What are you saying, hyung! You are going nowhere, alright?",Jeongguk gasped, clasping the omega's forearms for dear life.

"Promise me Gguk...",the older was persistent.

"Promise that you will be there with them... Promise that my family will be together,Jeonggukah..."

"Please...!"

"I promise hyung.",the younger nodded like a child as he cupped Seokjin's flushed face and thumbed the older's tears away.

And those words were able to make his hyung's face break into a weak yet beautiful smile.

"I promise..."
