The uncomfortable darkness and cold walls invited Seokjin as he cautiously stepped inside the prison.

"So he had to step back?",he heard his mother's voice coming from behind the bars.

"I thought at least that Northerner has some self-respect. But....",she chuckled darkly.

"Seems like even people of their Royal family aren't brought up with self pride and dignity...."

"He would've never stepped back,Eomonie. He would've never let you free. He did it for me,only because I wanted you to be out of these bars.",Seokjin stated firmly.

"Are you trying to imply that your mate has done some favor to me,omega?!",the Queen hissed, gritting her teeth.

Seokjin let out a hollow laugh.Shaking his head, he looked directly at the alpha's eyes who had,by now come out of the darkness of the cell.

"I'm trying to say that you're getting this freedom because you're my mother. And no matter how much you degrade me as an omega,I can never hate you.I can never do that.",he sighed.

"I'm trying to say that you are getting your kingdom back because I had some responsibilities towards Abeoji, towards my ancestors and my kingdom. Otherwise you certainly doesn't deserve this Eomonie."

"What did you just say ?",his mother growled, clutching the bars with her fists.

"I said the truth, Eomonie..... And you know that too.Whatever you did to him,to them....you don't deserve anything from anyone.But you're getting it,he is giving it to you.....so you better be thankful to him.",Seokjin rasped before turning around and motioning the guards to open the lock of the cell.

"This shouldn't be happening....",Jeongguk muttered under his breath as he entered the Royal hall with Jimin and Yoongi.

"We all know that. But, Seokjin-hyung had his own reasons Younger Prince.We need to understand his emotions too....",Yoongi muttered back,glancing at the short omega between them,whose gaze was directed towards the Vampire King,who was standing beside the throne with his intimidating aura.

-"I have no doubt on hyung's decisions. I believe that he knows what he is doing. It's just that.....I'm worried about him.I'm worried about Noona. I'm worried that Eomonie would do something wrong to them.....I don't know,I just-"

"Don't worry Ggukkie...",Jimin whispered,making the alpha stop;his gaze still glued at Taehyung's face.

"As per I know him....",he tipped his chin,gesturing at the vampire infront of them.

".....he won't let anything happen that any of us would regret."

"He would do anything to prevent the things that we don't want to happen..."

"I believe him...",he confirmed, turning his head to the side to give his alpha an assuring smile.

"I believe you....",Jeongguk replied the older softly.

Everyone's head turned around towards the huge door to the hall as the Elder Prince of the kingdom led a group of vampire guards,who were barricading the Alpha Queen.

Seokjin stopped a few meters before the throne and looked up at his mate.

Taehyung nodded at him before straightening himself.

"As we all know the reason behind this sudden gathering....",his voice echoed inside the giant hall,catching every single person's attention.

".....I wouldn't waste any more time."

"Today, Southerner's Queen...",the blonde flexed his jaw as he forced himself to utter the next words.

"...and Southerner Kingdom are going to be free from Northerner's governing."

His eyes went to the farthest corner of the hall,where his sister was glaring daggers at the Queen.The only thing that was stopping her from ripping the older alpha's throat apart was her own mate,her own omega.

He looked back at his mate,sighing subtly as he gestured the guards to let the Queen go.

The guards complied and stepped aside from the alpha one by one.

A low growl bubbled up from Jennie's throat.Jisoo clutched her arms for dear life,dipping her face at the crook of the younger's face to nuzzle her scent-gland.

The gesture of her pregnant omega made Jennie a bit relaxed as she gently grabbed the older's wrist.

"But I have a small condition.",Taehyung demanded while staring at Seokjin.

The prince's eyebrows scrunched.

"She cannot remain the queen anymore.",he declared, making almost everyone's eyes widen in the hall.

The Queen clenched her fists but remained quiet,waiting for the opportunity to play her card.

"Instead..... I would choose a new ruler of the kingdom.",the vampire stated while walking towards the Elder Prince.

"Agreed?",he muttered in a low voice.

Seokjin gulped and tilted his head a little,as if trying to ask the younger why he was making everything complicated.

He turned around and looked at his brother who was all doe eyed and surprised because of the situation and Taehyung's announcement.

He knows that Jeongguk doesn't want to be the king. But he had no choice at that moment. Jeongguk was meant to be their Kingdom's ruler anyways. Nobody could stop that from happening.

So why not now? When the risk was worth of their Kingdom's freedom? And anyways, he himself didn't want to give his mother the throne once again, knowing very well that how cruel of a ruler she can be.

So he looked back at his mate and nodded.

"Agreed."

Taehyung smirked, facing the crowd fully as he announced his decision.

"The new emperor of Southern kingdom is......"

"No No please no!",Jeongguk chanted loud enough to make Jimin clasp their hands together and give him a slight squeeze.

-"Kim Seokjin...... The Elder Prince!"

The entire hall gasped together at the declaration.

"Taehyung!",Seokjin called out meekly, unsure of what exactly was happening.

"Stop clowning around Northerner!",the Queen finally spoke.

"An omega..... An emperor!"

"An omega is the reason why you're standing here today,and not inside the cell!",Taehyung retorted in an instant.

"Rulers are not made rulers only because of their strength,Southerner! Their selfless dedication towards their kingdom,their sense of responsibility towards their forefathers, their powerful leadership skills make them one."

"And I'm sure about the fact that each and everyone in this Kingdom would agree with me that Elder Prince possesses all of these virtues."

"Taehyung...",Seokjin held the younger by his forearm.

"Why...?",his eyes looked at the vampires dark brown ones searchingly.

"Because you deserve much more than a title of the omega prince.",the blonde answered him,his voice soaked with determination.

"So,from today.....",he raised his voice,glancing at everyone in the hall.

"....from this very moment.... Kim Seokjin is declared as....the chief governor, the King of Southern Kingdom."
