"You are going where?!"

Jennie pursed her lips into a straight line and Seokjin's limbs went numb.

He was worried about Taehyung's reaction to his planning the most.But,he definitely hadn't thought about a scenario like this.

"I am going back to the North,Oraboni. I mean....we are.... And....since I am going there, Jisoo is joining me too.",the alpha tilted her head,her expression conveying a lot of emotions, guilt,concern and a hint of disappointment.

She must be upset with Seokjin,upset with his decision and the way he had chosen his mother even after knowing the whole truth.

A sudden wave of nausea hit Seokjin and he clutched the desk infront of him for some support.

Taehyung's declaration has earned a number of unacceptance from the peasants on the very first day of Seokjin's reign.

And well,Seokjin was not at all surprised. He knew this would happen.Breaking the norms were never easy,anyways.

He knows that he needs to keep patience and faith in himself. If Taehyung had believed in his abilities,then why can't he do that?

He was still not sure though. But he would try. He would try his best to gain his kingdom's faith. And he knew that he has a long journey to accomplish.It was the first day only.

And in midst of all these thoughts that were stressing him out, he just learned that his sister and her mate is leaving the kingdom!

And Jennie even mentioned "we",didn't she? Did she want to mean that.......

"Oraboni.....",Jennie's voice cut off his internal monologue.

"I don't have anything against you.Trust me,I never had and I'll never have.But.....I don't trust your mother. I don't feel my mate and my child to be safe under the same roof with that woman.And....besides that,even the Northerners want to go back since Tae is not the ruler anymore.So I thought..... we should go back with them too.Princess would be safe there,I promise you."

"Eomonie is house arrested, Jennie.... I promise you that everything will be fine.Just...",Seokjin heaved a sigh.

He couldn't even ask the younger to trust him after the way he played with their trust.

Seokjin knows this helpless feeling way too well.

"Oraboni, I understand how you're feeling right now.But,believe me,I...... I don't have any grudges against you.I don't have any complain with you. Its just that..... My family is my first priority. And I...I can't risk any of them.I believe that they would be much safer there. Please try to understand...",Jennie looked at the older with sad eyes.

Seokjin averted his gaze,gulping down the suffocating lump in his throat before the Younger Prince stormed inside the office room.

"Hyung,they have arrived!"

Jeongguk's doe eyes sparkled as Hoseok climbed up the stairs of their palace.

The older alpha beamed at him before engulfing the younger into a bear hug.

"Ah Gguk, were you scared for me?",Hoseok asked,his voice giggly.

"No it was Yoongi-hyung....",the prince replied while pulling back and giving the older his brightest toothy smile.

"But I assured him that you'll be alright!"

"Hyung...."

Namjoon's voice made Hoseok look past Jeongguk's shoulders, where Seokjin was waiting for them.

Hoseok gave the oldest a wide smile.

"We just heard about Taehyung-nim's declaration.",Namjoon said as he walked past Hoseok and bowed at the new King.

" The whole kingdom is talking about it....",Hoseok completed the beta's statement and followed his bestfriend's suit.

"So I guess,Taehyung has accepted your decisions?",Seokjin's personal guard asked with his dimpled smile.

The omega smiled back at the younger but there was a storm inside his mind.

'If he actually has,then why is he leaving me once again?!'

He gulped to compose himself.

"Hal-Abeoji is.....alright,isn't he?",he inquired, his voice firm and formal which made Namjoon frown a little.

"Yes,hyung. Nobody has a single scratch on them. The guards and soldiers tried to stop us but we had managed to harm them as less as we could.And then......Oh...then this strange thing happened all of a sudden.....!",Hoseok trailed and looked at Namjoon,as if asking him to continue.

"Yes....",Namjoon nodded in agreement.

"What strange thing?",Seokjin frowned.

"Actually, their general....he came out all of a sudden and ordered the soldiers to immediately stop the defense. It was as if....",the beta tried to explain but an enthusiastic Hoseok cut him off.

"As if he was ready for it! I mean,he knew this was going to happen and he was bound to not defend themselves. I know its strange but I could feel it!"

Namjoon nodded once again.

"Even the Elder King,I mean..... Taehyung-nim's grandfather..... He never showed any kind of rivalry, hatred or anything like that against us. He wasn't even scared a bit! It was as if they were mentally prepared!",he commented,shifting his weight from one of his feet to the other.

"But how's that possible?!",Jeongguk joined.

"Nobody else knew about your plans,right? Even I  didn't know! Neither Jimin did. Or......did he?",his doe eyes narrowed a bit as he eyed Hoseok suspiciously.

"Ofcourse I didn't.",Hoseok barked and looked at Namjoon for some help.

"No,he didn't. I trust him....",the beta breezed, making Hoseok's tensed up shoulders slump.

"Hyung....?",Namjoon called out,his expression worried.

"You alright?",he asked the omega,opting his hand on the older's arm.

Seokjin glanced at all of them blankly,his mind running at the speed of light as he tried to join the puzzle pieces.

"He knew....."

"But Ggukkie says that Seokjin-hyung doesn't like apples....",Jimin twisted his shoulders, earning a scoff from his bestfriend.

"He would eventually like it....",Taehyung scowled, scrambling his way towards the corner table with the bowl of fruits.

Jimin stiffled a giggle.

"You think that Seokjin-hyung would be able to eat so many things?!",he tsked.

"He would.",the vampire assured.

"His work is tiring....."

"Exhausting", he added further."He must need enough food to keep up with everything. And besides....."

"He is expecting, so your child needs it too.How many times are you going to remind me that?",Jimin huffed but his lips curved up into a smile.

He felt immensely proud while watching his Tae being so caring for his mate and his baby.

"Why are you like this?"

Both of them turned around at a certain omega's voice.

Jimin flinched at Seokjin's dark blue eyes,he could sense the tension in the older's pheromones as he looked back at Taehyung to check his reaction.

And he flinched once again. Because the vampire was staring back at his mate with the same blank look in his red eyes.

Jimin fidgeted a little. Gulping, he tried to ease up the sudden tension in the air.

"Ah....I think...",he chuckled."I should leave,then...."

The lack of response from the rest of them gave Jimin the permission to leave the situation as soon as possible.

As the omega whisked away before shooting a 'what the hell did you do this time?!' glare at Taehyung, Seokjin flexed his jaw.

"What.....exactly do you want to know?!",Taehyung broke the silence first,padding his way towards the older.

"You knew everything !",Seokjin howled.

The younger tilted his head.

"I did.",he allowed quietly.

"How?!",the omega demanded, not breaking their eye contact for a single second.

Taehyung sighed.

"Its the bond.I can hear your thoughts since we mated...."

Seokjin's jaw unhinged, staring searchingly at the younger's face to digest the fact.

"Then why didn't you-"

"It would've been unfair if I tried to stop you.",the vampire interrupted.

"Because, honestly.... It was a perfect plan. And....well, what if I didn't have this ability? What if I wasn't a vampire or you weren't my mate? I wouldn't have been able to stop you right?", he reasoned but the omega seemed completely and frustratingly unconvinced.

"Okay listen.....",the younger soothed.

"That day when you eavesdropped my and Jimin's conversation, I knew you were there. I had heard you coming all the way from Jisoo-noona's room,I had heard your each and every thought. But I let everything happen, because it was meant to be.There's no point in trying to stop the things that would eventually happen just because I have the power to do so.Only that.....that doesn't count things that can....harm you."

"What you wanted..... There was nothing wrong in it,Seokjinah.... You have the right to do what you did for your kingdom.On the other hand,you made me realize your real worth! I could see the side of you that I never did before.You were always brave,yes....but I never knew that you had this strong leadership skill.Do you know how proud I am for you? I'm sure our baby is too..."

Seokjin blinked twice.

"Why are you like this?",he asked yet again.

"Why are you so.....so unpredictable? Why are you so stubborn?!",he scrubbed his hand over his face.It was too much to take in a single day.

"Well....about that....",the younger hissed through his teeth.

"As per I remember....",he trailed,stepping closer towards the omega.

"I was just a kid when a handsome prince imprinted on me....",he bumped their noses together, the omega exhaled a sharp breath at the contact.

The younger's breath imitated the other.

"Since then.....I see the world the way he does.My heart hurts when he is in pain..... I smile when he smiles."

Seokjin let out a giggly huff as Taehyung's fingers brushed his sides, giving him the slightest tickling sensations.

The younger smiled, planting a small kiss on the other's forehead.

"I breath the way he does.",he muttered, trailing his soft lips down towards the older's nose.

"I am what he is....",he pecked the tip of Seokjin's nose and pulled away with a smile.

"So you better blame him instead of me..."

And he just couldn't stop himself from pecking the omega's lips at least for once. So he did,stealthily,mischievously, earning a shy chuckle from his flushed mate.

"And I'm not leaving you....",the vampire promised,his voice firm.

"Not now....not ever....",he whispered, smiling as Seokjin nodded and sighed in relief after the assurance.

"Now come here!",he engulfed the older by his waist and guided him towards the corner table full of various delicacies,fruits and beverages.

"I asked Yoongi-hyung about your favorite dishes. Aren't you hungry?",he made Seokjin slump on the chair infront of the table.

"Starving!",the omega giggled at his mate's excitement.

"I knew it!",the younger cheered for himself, snatching a spoon to scoop a portion from one of the dishes and puckered his lips while blowing upon the food to cool it down.

"Wait!"

Taehyung halted because of the older's interruption.

"What?",he rolled his eyes.

"Let me just....",Seokjin leaned up,planting his own lips upon the younger's soft ones for a mere second.

"....have the starter first.",he smiled and sat back on his seat.

"You should wait for the dessert....",Taehyung smirked, his voice extremely alluring as he fed his mate the first spoonful of food.

Seokjin nodded,brushing his fingers through his mate's hairline.

"I would love to....."
