Princess Pearl had been walking down the hallway on her way to her twin sister's room and something rather strange happened. Was that a guard? Was Kaylee letting a random guard into her room? Wait... Pearl had seen Kaylee with the guard another time. Wasn't he the one at the beginning of the selection? Pearl was filled with questions, but she knew one thing for sure. She shouldn't interrupt whatever was going on. Instead of going to her twin's room, she decided to stop by Jacob's room. When she walked by, the door was open and she saw Jude and Jacob already sitting and talking together.

"Okay, so I just saw the weirdest thing ever..." Pearl said as she walked into Jacob's room. She went over and sat on his bed which both Jacob and Jude were already sitting on. Both of them looked at Pearl with amusement and curiosity in their eyes. "I was going to talk to Kaylee, but when I got to her room, I saw her letting a guard in..."

"Maybe she's just talking to him about shifts or guard duties or something. She's staff manager, so it makes sense," Jacob said with a quick shrug. He agreed it was weird, but this was Kaylee. It couldn't be a social visit.

"No, Kaylee always goes to the staff wings to deal with that stuff. She'd never talk business in her room. And she only ever talks with the head guard and maid," Pearl said, eyebrows furrowing as she tried to figure out what the hell was going on with her sister.

"Finally! So many years as staff manager and she hasn't had a single fling. I was starting to worry for my girl," Jude laughed out, obviously the first one to say what they all were thinking.

"Kaylee wouldn't go from not talking to anyone but us to sleeping with a guard over night. That's just not her," Pearl said and shook her head.

"She would if it were one hot night with a delicious guard. Seriously, I think our mothers forget that some of us aren't gay like them. If they remembered, they really wouldn't parade such hot guys around the palace as guards. It's impossibly tempting," Jude said with another laugh, not taking things seriously.

"First of all, ew, Jude. Just, ew." Jacob shook his head. He was used to her saying stuff like that, but that didn't mean he wanted to hear it. "And second of all, which guard was it?" he asked curiously, turning to pearl.

"Ummm... Chad? Wait... no! I remember, his name is Chase," Pearl said, excited that she remembered. Pearl tried to know as many as the staff she could, or at least know their names.

"Wait, isn't that dude like in his twenties?" Jacob asked, not sure how he knew that. Maybe he read it on a form or something he had to sign.

"Aw! Going for an older man. God, I'm so proud of our little girl," Jude said, pretending to begin to fake cry tears of joy.

"Why wouldn't she tell me?" Pearl asked, a simple frown taking over her face. Kaylee and Pearl never kept anything from each other. What was up?

"I'm sure she'll tell you soon enough, P," Jake said to his sister with a little grin.

"And when she does, you'll tell us so we can all gossip about it!" Jude said with a smirk on her face.

And that was that.
