Minato's pov

"Hiya!" Tenten attacked Naruto with her bow. The boy expertly dodged each blow before back flipping with his hands in a sign.

"Shadow clone jitsu!"

Several shadow clones appeared around her. She looked around at them anxiously.

"Tenten don't get overwhelmed" I called out to her "keep a cool head and you'll be fine"

"Yeah I got it sensai" she glared at me. Oops now she's mad at me!

"Here I come!" His clones charged at her. She dodged each of them, hitting them with her bow as she did. She then pulled out her chain, wrapping it around the real Naruto and throwing him to the ground.

"How'd you beat me?" Naruto pouted "I had you super outnumbered"

"It's called having experience kid" she winked at him "You'll understand someday"

"Gah" kiba fell to his knees, exhausted from his medical training "healing stuff's hard. Are you sure I'm cut out for this"

"Of course I am" I bent down to his level "it'll take some time but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it"

"But I'm missing out on other training cause of this junk" he pouted.

I paused "kiba do you know the most important rule for a medical ninja?"

"Heal your team?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Nope. It's to avoid as much injury as possible"

"So the medical ninja dose nothing while the rest of the team gets pounded!" He yelled "how useless-"

"If the medical ninja dies who'll be there to heal their team" my answer stunned him into silence. I placed a hand on his shoulder "the medical ninja is a fundamental member of the team. They keep their team away from deaths door and I love this team. That's why I really want you to give this an honest try kiddo"

"Yes sensai. I'll master this in no time" he said confidently before getting back to his training. I smiled at him before turning to the others.

"Alright time for round two!"

Orochimarus pov

"Ha!" Sasuke charged at me with a sword in hand. I dodged the attack without breaking a sweat. Suddenly my vision was covered by insects, allowing sasuke to strike my face.

"Impressive teamwork boys" I wiped the blood from my cheeks.

"I wouldn't have needed his help if you didn't make me train with this sword" sasuke grumbled.

"I admire your confidence sasuke" I chuckled "I have you train with a sword because your speed, stamina and fighting style is perfect for welding a sword"

"Besides good teamwork is important for an effective mission" shino muttered.

"That's fine for missions but I need my individual strength if I'm going to take my revenge. I'll involve no one else"

"Sasuke" Ino watched him with a sad expression.

I turned my attention to her "ino dear could you remind me what your jitsu is"

"Oh it's mind transfer jitsu" she explained "if I can get someone in a perfect range I can take over their mind for a certain period of time"

"Can you read your host's memories in this form?"

"Yeah I can. Why?"

I nodded "ino I would like you to possess my body to find my weakness and exploit it"

"Are you sure?" She asked nervously.

"My dear this is important for improving your jitsu. I'm more than happy to be your guinea pig" I smirked

"Ok if you say so" she got into her pose "mind transfer jitsu!"

My mind went blank for a couple of seconds before returning back "well what did you find?"

She pointed her finger at me "you abandoned your team and your village to pursue enteral life. You killed thousands, you broke the heart of your teammate Tsunade, the respect of your sensai lord hokage and the trust of your friend jiraiya all because you couldn't shake your fear of death"

I clasped my chest. Her words cut deep.

"Sorry was that too far?" She asked worriedly.

"That was ruthless. You're going to be a great shinobi" I smiled proudly.

"Oh thank you" she blushed slightly.

"Well done ino. Seems you're more useful than I thought" shino nodded.

"Thanks but also rude!" Ino pouted. Sasuke cracked a smile at their banter. Seems they're starting to get along.

Jiraiyas pov

"Leaf hurricane!" Lee charged at me with a swinging kick that I barely managed to dodge. Damn that kids fast!

"Expansion jitsu!" Choji reached out a giant hand at me.

"Porcupine jitsu" I sharpened my hairs, cutting his hand.

"Ow!" Choji yelped as he pulled back.

"Gahaha that's what you get for trying to get the jump on old jiraiya" I laughed.

"You're a mean sensai" he held his hand with tears in his eyes.

"Sensai aren't you going to actually teach us something?" Sakura put her hand on her hips.

"Oh right. I guess I should be teaching you guys something" I scratched the back of my neck.

"You think!" They yelled in unison.

"Hehehe" I chuckled as I took a seat "gather around kids. Sensai's gonna teach you how to break a genjitsu"

Itachi's pov

I watched as Neji perfectly pulled off my twenty kunai trick.

"Wonderful work Neji" I nodded proudly. What a natural talent that boy is.

"Whatever" the boy muttered as he walked away.

"Ah!" Hinata fell over while attempting the same trick.

"Hinata are you ok?" I rushed over and checked her over "you don't seem to be hurt" I let out a sigh of relief "hinata I asked you to start with a normal throw. This trick is too advanced for you"

"Sorry sensai" she lowered her head in shame.

"Yes lady hinata it would be best to stay in your lane" neji said cruely. Hinata let out a small whimper.

"Neji that's not kind" I said sternly "everyone learns at their own pace. It doesn't make her weak"

"Of course sensai. Lady hinata I apologise for my rude words" he bowed to her but I could tell he didn't mean a word of it.

"It's okay" she muttered nervously.

An idea came to me "neji maybe you could teach her this trick. After all you both live together so you'll have more time to practice"

"It would be my pleasure" he said through gritted teeth as he walked over to her.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Shikamaru raised a sceptical eyebrow "they could end up killing eachother"

"They're family shikamaru" I said gently "If the two of them just spent more time together then they could start acting like it"

"And you're the expert of family situation? I heard sasuke doesn't even talk to you" shikamaru said bluntly.

"That's true but one day I hope to change our relationship too" I smiled softly at the two hyugas.

"One can dream" shikamaru shrugged as we watched hinata once again, tried the trick.
