Minato's pov

"Alright kiddos" I addressed the three in front of me "I'm a little rusty at this whole being a sensai thing so how about we start with something simple. What are your dreams for the future?"

"Well that's an easy one. I'm going to be hokage just like you were dad" Naruto said confidently. I smiled at his answer. I see so much of kushina in him.

"What a coincidence. My dream is to be hokage too" kiba grinned "I guess that makes us rivals"

"Like you're good enough to be my rival dog boy" Naruto glared at him.

"Well who says you're good enough to be mine ninja dropout!" he got in his face.

"Well we're off to a great start" I sighed before turning to tenten "what about you young lady. What is your dream?"

"I want to be a great kunoichi like lady tsunade" she said brightly.

"Lady tsunade huh? I met her before. She is one scary lady" I chuckled nervously "right I can tell already that you kids are special. I'm going to do my best to support you in achieving your dreams" I stood up with a proud smile "from here on out we're a team. Now show me what you kids can do"

"Huh?" they looked at me in disbelief as I got into a fighting pose.

"You heard me" I grinned "come at me with the intent to kill"

"Alright if you say so" Naruto cracked his knuckles before getting into position "shadow clone jitsu!"

I watched as several clones appeared around me. The number of them still astounds me. I guess this is the power of the nine tails.

"Here I come!" The clones charged at me. I dodged each blow with ease, knocking them into each other.

I caught his fist in midair "your attacks are too spontaneous son. You have to think ahead more" I threw him aside, knocking the remaining clones aside.

"Alright then. Let's give this a go akamaru" kiba got into position with his puppy, turning him into a clone of himself "fang over fang!" He charged at me with his twister like attack. I dodged, knocking akamaru aside and grabbing kiba by his hood.

"Yah!" Kiba swung his arms around as I held him up.

"You rely too heavily on akamaru kiba. You need to learn to be more self sufficient" I tossed him to the side.

"Yah!" Tenten attacked me with her chain. I caught it in midair.

"You're too cautious tenten. You need to take more risks in fighting" I let go of the chain, causing her to fall back.

"We couldn't get a single hit in" they hung their heads in shame.

"Aw don't get so depressed kiddos. This was just a test to figure out your flaws. Now we can work towards strengthening them" I said reassuringly.

"Oh so you're finally going to teach us something cool?" Kiba ran up to me excitedly. His hood was knocked down from the fight so I could see his features better. That chestnut brown hair and those face markings. They reminded me of her.

I gently petted the boys hair "kiba would you consider learning medical ninjitsu?"

"Medical ninjitsu?" he looked up in surprise.

"Yeah. It's recommended that each team has a medical ninja and I think you'd be perfect in that role" I explained.

"Really?" His eyes lit up excitedly "yeah I could get my sis to help out with that"

"Good boy" I ruffled his hair before looking up at the others "as for you two I'm going to keep you as physical fighters. Now are you ready to learn?"

"Yes sensai" they said in unison.

"Good" I grinned "then let's get started"
