Itachi's pov

The four of us walked in silence. I wasn't trying to think of a good way to introduce myself to them without it feeling forced. I never was good at this type of thing. I don't know why the third hokage asked me to become a sensai. Luckily my students also seemed quiet and reserved. Maybe this will work out.

"Alright this is the place" I stopped in my old training ground. I think this might be a good place to train them "before training let's get to know each other. I am Itachi uchia"

"Uchia. Wait a minute, aren't you the guy who got pardoned for killing your clan?" shikamaru raised an eyebrow.

"Killing his clan?" Hinata's eyes widened in disbelief. Neji gave me a suspicious glance.

Well this isn't how I wanted things to start but I can't lie to them "yes that's me"

"So I have a troublesome sensai too. What a drag" shikamaru groaned. The two hyugas looked uneasy.

I took a deep breath "I understand your unease but could I ask that you forget this for now. All that matters now is how well I can train you three"

"That's true I suppose" Neji sighed "I personally don't care why you did what you did. I already have enough inconveniences to deal with" he shot a glare at hinata. She shrunk down at his words before standing up straight.

"You're a jerk!"

"What!" He looked over in disbelief.

"You heard me!" She marched up to him "you're always throwing such cruel comments at me. It's not fair!"

"Oh poor hinata. It must be so hard having everything handed to you"

"You think I have it easy?"

"Don't you princess!"

"Seems like she took his advice. How troublesome" shikamaru sighed.

"His advice?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Naruto. He told her she needs to stand up for herself more. What a troublesome guy. It's thanks to him that I have to deal with this family drama" he pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration.

I picked up a kunai and threw it past their heads, hitting the post.

"Enough fighting" I said sternly "We're here to train. Leave your baggage at home where it belongs"

They shot one last glare at each other before walking away. Their relationship reminds me of what me and sasuke are now. It's most likely because of their status in the hyuga clan. They're just kids. They shouldn't have this bad blood.

Maybe as their sensai I can help with their broken relationship.
