I'm going out today.

He smiled at me and asked if I wanted to go to the movies.

But I didn't want to go,
That's where you always took me.

I know I need to move on,
I can't keep holding onto a love that I can't have.

So, I put on my fake smile,
The one nobody ever notices is fake.

And I said yes.

I'm getting ready to go right now,
But I'm freaking out wondering if it's a date.

I don't want it to be one,
I'm not ready yet.
