Lukas Nakamoto was a young Japanese-German boy growing up in the unforgiving world he was unfortunate enough to call home. He's a normal young boy: average intelligence... well that was about it see Lukas isn't like other 'normal' kids from either his home city Dusseldorf or the quaint harbor town Otaru. See he was quite peculiar in the way he looked; he was small, shy, particularly adorable and he had small elfen-like ears. As you can probably tell his features weren't taken kindly to at all in either country making him an easy target for bullying. Now life for a boy like Lukas was already difficult; he had a single parent Jun Nakamoto and his only sibling and friend Yura lived with their mother and he rarely got to see her if at all- even though their platonic bond was so strong- their parents felt the need to keep them apart feeling lonely, sad and unloved just like themselves.

Yura was such a model child, she never misbehaved, talked back, and she showed respect to anyone that was older than her- probably thanks to having a strict household and living in Japan.

Happily she'd play in the small garden in her little cottage making 'food' and looking after her stuffed animal family, she spent most of her time there sometimes he little brother would come and join her and they would play for hours just them and their happy stuffed animal family. Off in their own little world away from the harsh comments and blinding stupidity of the world they know so little about.

But that all changed in the blink of an eye one day when Mum and Dad came home shouting and screaming abuse at each other, telling Yura to pack her stuff and that she was leaving. Yura begged and pleaded with her mother to let her stay, not to make her leave her best friend, her only friend her treasured little brother. Who during all of this was dragged away from his mother and hugged tightly by his father and soft but still audible words of comfort and reassurance were whispered into his small elf ears. Yura tried to make her way over to her brother only resulting in her mother getting even more angrier and more enraged by the fact that she would disobey her own mother.

After the shouting had died down the only sound left in the house was the sobbing and whimpering of the two males, Lukas and his Dad.

Now Lukas doesn't know what happened between his mother and father all he knows is his only friend is gone and he might not see her ever again.
