As time passes on,
People change.

Once upon a time,
a girl's life was falling apart.
Depressed every time,
she was an abstract form of art.

Thoughts filled with fear,
she stresses things out.
But one thing is clear,
she wants to stop the fallout.

Knowing herself,
worthless, failure, and depressed.
She can't rid the stress.
It's something she possessed.

Never meeting perfection,
she's always dejected.
All she wants is affection,
to just feel connected.

The low spirits in her,
affects one's mind and soul.
As aesthetic as larkspur,
no one takes notice of the coal.

She almost gives up on life, weeping.
Due to not meeting society's views.
Then an opportunity came, seeking.
It came and defused the abuse.

Becoming capable and winsome,
they were all amazed.
Growing sharp and witty,
she was now well praised.

Once thought feckless,
now changed for the good.
Disposing bad habits,
still hiding the truth.

The past will remain past.
No one has to know.
All about the values passed,
it's something we should show.

Given the prospect of a life time,
Would you take the chance?
Would you go back,
and stop the trance?
