The Job
Pounding. I didn't know whether it was my head or something else but it was loud. I flinched as I opened my optics. Okay, so it wasn't my head. I sit up, careful not to wake Blossom, and trace the sound to the door. I leap across the room and rip open the door. Standing there is a mech with two trays of different energon assortments- our breakfast.
"Thank you."
I take both of the trays as he nods, shutting the door for me since my servos were full. I set both trays on the table across from the berths. Blossom and I slept on the same berth, I wouldn't leave a young sparkling in a berth alone.
I walk over to Blossom and carefully sit down next to her. I rest a servo on her shoulder, gently shaking it bit.
"Blossom."
I call softly. She lets out a small squeak and yawns. She slowly opens her optics and looked up at me and smiled. She sat up and crawled ontop of me, snuggling in my arms.
"Good morning carrier."
I smile down at her.
"Good morning sweetie."
"I'm hungry."
I hear her stomach growl.
"It's good that breakfast just arrived."
She bounds over to the table and crawls up one of the chairs. I sit down across from her as we starts to eat our breakfast.
After breakfast, I had to go visit Siren so he could freshen up my repairs. I held Blossom, for safety, as we made our way back through all of the hallways and to Siren's station in the medical field. I see Siren talking with other medics when Blossom jumps out of my arms, and races to him. She clings onto his leg, laughing. Siren looks down and gives her a gentle smile.
"Well hello little one."
I walk up with an apologizing smile.
"Sorry Siren, she couldn't wait to see you."
He smiles and waves it off. Blossom eventually releases Siren and starts to play with the other medics, all of which are smiling and playing along. Siren freshens up my repairs and checks my energon readings, which are back to normal. Siren glances back to Blossom and the other medics, then turning to me.
"Brisk, you mustn't trust Lockdown."
He harshly whispers to me. furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
"Why?"
I whisper back. He glances around once more and back to me.
"I know what he does... I know what his plan is for you."
I continue to looked confused, allowing him to continue.
"He is going to use you as his pet, any idea why there are no femmes around? Because he killed them. All of them. He said that they weren't fit for him and that they didn't take up the job offering."
"What job?"
I quickly whisper back. He gives a small shrug.
"No one knows, rumors are that there are different levels of being his pet, all of which other femmes didn't pass the first few."
I shiver and blink a few times to take this all in. I am about to question more until Siren straightens his position. He stares blankly behind me. Blossom and the other medics notice also, but Blossom runs to me and holds onto my legs.
"How is she doctor?"
I recognize that voice. Siren responds immediately.
"Levels are back to normal, condition is stable."
He walks up so now he is next to me, and then lightly rests his servo on my shoulder.
"Care for a walk sweetspark?"
I hesitantly nod and stand. Blossom lets out a small whimper but Siren picks her up and holds her close to his chassis.
"I will look after her in you absence."
Siren offers.
"Thank you."
I look at Blossom in his arms.
"Listen to Siren, I'll be back soon."
She gives a small wave in which I return. I then turn and start to walk away with Lockdown. I couldn't help but wonder, was what Siren had said true?
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh what did you just get yourself into Brisk?! Be cautious...
Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed!
