I can hear the faint mumbling of voices and machinery. I feel only my presence in the berth... I was alone. My optics flickered open as I took a deep breath and sat up.

The sounds were coming from outside the ship. I stand and walk to the window and look down at the movement below. I was in our quarters the south end of the ship.

I glance over at the door leading to the living area, it was left cracked open just a bit.

I walk and open the door more, peering out. He wasn't here currently, good.

"You are free from here when the light shines, but when it fades, you must be here"

His voice echoed in my head. The first thing I do is sprint to Siren's quarters.

When I arrive, I place a soft knock on the door, not knowing if him or Blossom was still sleeping.

The door quietly opens to reveal a sleepy Siren, giving me a soft smile.

I immediately run into his embrace and bury my face into his chassis and start to cry.

He steps out into the hall with me in his grasp, and gently closes the door behind us. Blossom must still be asleep.

He holds me close an soothes me, only making me cry more. We sink to the ground as I huddle closer. He gently guided my helm up to meet optics.

"What is wrong Brisk?" He asks in a worried, yet gentle tone.

I shake my head, biting my derma to hold back another sob.

"I-I can't tell you..."

His eyebrows furrow in confusion.

"Brisk, you can tell me anything."

I shake my head, faster this time.

"I don't want you to get hurt."

His expression changes, understanding the meaning of my words.

"I can't have him hurt you or Blossom, you guys are all that I have."

I take a shaky breath and rest my helm against his chassis once more. He rubs my arm softly with his servo, while his other arm is wrapped around my frame.

We sit there for awhile in a comfortable silence. I had calmed down and regained my breath. I slightly sit up upon hearing the sound of ruffling from inside the room.

Siren and I stand, as I open the door slowly to peek in.

"Blossom?" I whisper.

The young sparkling springs toward the door and into my arms.

"CARRIER!" She shouts.

I laugh and hold her in my embrace.

"Oh Blossom! I've missed you baby!" I go and sit on her berth with her clinging to me.

I hold her close and smile up at Siren, who had entered the room. He smiles back down and takes a seat next to me.

"I'm sorry that I haven't been around in the evenings sweetie." I explain to Blossom.

She looks up at me with bright optics.

"It's okay Carrier, I've missed you but Siren has been great."

I smile and place a small kiss on her forehelm.

"That's great."

The day went by fast, to my disliking. We visited the medic's bay so Blossom could introduce me to all of her best friends, the medics.

One of their names was Ratchet I think, Blossom liked him and Siren the most. I talked with Ratchet about how I found her and things like that.

He was a really great bot.

Then it was time to say goodbye. I bend down to Blossom's level and give her a small smile.

"Honey, carrier has to go now. Will you be a good sparkling for Siren?"

She smiles and nods. Her tiny arms pull me in for a hug.

"I love you Carrier."

I feel energon cloud my optics with the sound of her sweet little voice.

"I love you as well Blossom."

She releases me as I stand and give Siren and Ratchet a hug before I go.

On the way to our quarters, I see a group of mechs enter the grounds with something over their shoulders.

Dead bodies.

They carried them over to a pile of others, and threw them in. I saw that they were being torn apart and used for parts.

I then see a familiar frame enter the pile. My sire.

"NO!!!" I howled as I sprinted toward the pile.

The mechs helms turned my way as I fell to my knees next to my lifeless sire's body.
