On my way to school I saw Jungkook walking. He was across the street. Hands shoved into his jacket pockets and shoulders raised high. I couldn't help but smile as I ran across the street to him. Patting his shoulder and startling him a bit. He yanked an earbud from his ear as a smile stretched across his face.

"Hey" He greeted.

"Hi"

We walked together. He left his earbud out, but we didn't talk much after. We just walked in silence. It wasn't bad though. I prefer to talk though. I want to get to know him well.

"Do you do any school activities?" I asked.

"Choir with Taehyung. Baseball in the spring. Did you do any activities at your old school?"

"I danced. I wanted to do that here too, but they don't have a class for it. I think I'll sign up for a class at a studio instead though."

My only other option was the school's dance team. I'd seen them perform at events against my old school, I really wasn't impressed. Besides, I prefer to dance contemporary, they didn't fit my style of interest. The only real concern about joining a real dance class, is that I'll have to take the city bus to and from most times. My mom's reluctant to agree. I know she will, but she's taking her time to accept that I can't be caged inside.

We had only talked about it twice after my enrollment. The school said they didn't have a class for it, so she offered for me to take classes at a studio after school. The other time was when we were out one day and passed a studio not too far from where we live, but far enough that she still worries. It's a pain in my ass not being able to just go out like I could back in Busan.

"I see. There's not one too far from here. I've been debating signing up for it. Hoseok's been wanting me to sign up for hip hop classes with him forever now. Do you like hip hop?"

Notes to self, He enjoys dancing- somewhat at least. Second note to self, befriend Hoseok next.

"I can. I've taken hip hop classes in the past. I prefer contemporary though. You should do it though! Obviously we'd be in different classes, but it's a lot of fun either way." I encouraged.

He nodded his head in agreement. We'd just gotten to the crosswalk then. Since I wasn't paying much attention, he held me back. He didn't comment on my carelessness though, just watched the cars clear out.

"I might. Isn't contemporary like that artsy bendy dance style?" He finally responded once he pulled me to begin walking across.

I couldn't help but laugh at his phrasing. I almost wanted to get all into it, but didn't feel like going into it.

"Artsy bendy? You have such a way with words" I cooed. "But yeah it is. I think it's pretty though. Hip hops a bit too rough around the edges for my taste."

"Cute i guess" He shrugged.

"I try to be" I joked.

We made it to inside the doors. Jungkook and I both made our ways to only he knows where. I was just following behind him like his shadow at this point. It wasn't until we reached the second floor did I realize that we were going to my first period. It kind of took me by surprise that he'd came here. He doesn't have this class with me.

"What's that look for? Taehyung said you had the same first three classes. Was he lying?" He questioned.

"We do. You didn't need to walk me though, but, um, thanks" I spoke shyly.

Why was I so shy about that. Realistically, If I didn't have him guide me here I probably would have forgotten all about where my class was.

"It's no problem. Normally I'll come in to hang out with Taehyung anyways. My class is next door and I don't have any friends in there" He explained with a shrug.

He went inside first as I followed in afterwards. I didn't sit beside Taehyung yesterday since he only introduced himself to me the period after this. I don't think I'm allowed to change my seat either, but that's fine. I just set my belongings on my desk. He went straight to Taehyung and sat beside him.

He pulled the textbook Taehyung was reading away from him. Closing it and setting it on the desk he sat at.

"Fuck. I don't know what page I'm on idiot. I needed to finish the chapter for my history test 4th period" Taehyung just reached for the textbook.

He didn't let it go without lightly smacking Jungkook's shoulder with it though. Jungkook just laughed at the other and shrugged.

"It was page 345. You should know I was just messing with you. Relax Taehyung-ah" Jungkook ruffled up Taehyungs hair as he finished talking.

He did the same cute nose scrunch he did the other day while teasing Yoongi.

I was reminded then to ask about age. He referred to Taehyung informally again. He simply calls the others by their names, which is informal as well, but he specifically talks down to Taehyung. It makes me wonder if it's because they're the closest or because he's the youngest of the friend group.

"Taehyung, are you the youngest between all of us?"

Both boys looked over to me. They had goofy smiles on their faces as they exchanged glances at each other. Then they both began to laugh.

"No, Jungkook is the youngest in the whole grade" He laughed.

I felt my eyes widen. That didn't make sense then. How could he talk down to others so freely then? I understand he might be close to them all, but I'd want to be referred to as -hyung, not -ah.

"If he's younger then why does he address you with a lower honorific?"

"Because he's an asshole, that's why" Taehyung said.

He smiled at Jungkook smugly right after. That only earned him a smack on the head from the younger though. Taehyung looked cute as he pouted and rubbed where he'd been hit. It was a very childish sort of cute. I enjoyed their banter.

"I am not, you asshole" Jungkook defended himself with a scoff following his words.

"Ok fine, he's just a little brat. I don't mind it though, since he's my best friend" Taehyung answered me seriously this time.

"Oh. Ok, that makes sense then" was all I said.

I replied as I pulled out my binder for literature. The bell was going to ring any second, so I want to be prepared.

"Why? Are you jealous?" Taehyung teased.

"Of what?"

I turned back around to look at Taehyung. He had that goofy smile plastered to his face again as he leaned forward in his seat. Propping himself up with his elbows. Hands cupping his cheeks as he looked into my eyes.

"Well, don't you want to be my best friend?" He said it in a flirty tone, despite the clear friendzoning.

I furrowed my brows then and shook my head to tease back.

"Not if I'm only second choice" I scoffed playfully.

The both of them just laughed.

"Whatever, Taehyung. Jimin would much rather be my best friend" Jungkook added in.

I blushed at his words. Taehyung lazily tilted his head towards Jungkooks direction and looked at him with raised brows. He curled up his fingers, but still cupped his cheeks. He rolled his eyes then and just stuck his tongue out at Jungkook.

"I've known you both a day. Stick to being each other best friends" I rolled my eyes.

The bell had finally rang, and with that, Jungkook stood to leave. He waved at the both of us as went off next door. I let my eyes fall on Taehyung once Jungkook was out of sight. He was only pulling out his binder for the class now.

Those two have a nice friendship.
