Chapter Ten

A/N – Hey guys and welcome to Chapter Ten. Picture of Drew ^^^^

----- Hannah's P.O.V -----

The rest of the day did go pretty smoothly; Tyler managed to shut up about Reece for a whole ten minutes as after ten minutes Reece texted me whilst Tyler was messing about with the team and he came back over to see me texting Reece.

I swear, I was ready to throttle him however I didn't as he decided to keep quiet after I gave him the glare that my Mum used to use on us as kids.

I really don't understand why Tyler has such a grudge against Reece – he has told me multiple times to stay away from him and given basic reasons as to why but never a fully-fledged explanation, which would be extremely helpful in the way of me actually being able to tell myself to not go near Reece.

Everyone else is scared of Reece or they don't trust him or all they see are the tattoos, the jacket, the bike and the smoking.

Despite me having only been here for around a month and a half, I am not scared of him...sure he is intimidating but that's if you get on the wrong side of him. I can't see why people just haven't taken the time to get to know him, I get the point of him not letting people get close to him but I'd at least like to try a little more.

He is already talking to me, I already get along with him and I know that he is a good guy somewhere deep down there so I have no personal reason as to why I shouldn't be near him.

Tyler dropped me at the bottom of my road, as he needs to go straight back to practise but said he'd take me home anyway as he did bring me this morning.

It's only like a two-minute walk up to the house, so nothing too strenuous and I don't mind walking. I always used to walk home from college if I was able because I enjoyed it, just being able to think about pretty much anything without interruptions was the nice part.

When I reach the house, it's unlocked, I push the door open and dump my bag by the door as well as my keys in the bowl next to the door.

I round the corner into the kitchen, and see Lewis drinking coffee with my brother Drew "Drew!" I exclaim as I run over to hug him.

Drew laughs and wraps his arms around me "Hey Sis" he says as I hug him tighter.

My brothers and I have always been close, despite the age gaps, and I miss Drew so much when he is travelling. He does text me and FaceTime me whenever he can, but I still miss him because he'll be away for months so not just a couple of weeks or anything like that.

"How've you been?" he asks me once I pull away from him, and the both of us move to the living room to sit down on the sofa.

I curl up in my corner of the sofa whilst Drew sits normally on the other seat "I have actually been alright, believe it or not, I'm getting used to the whole idea of everything now" I tell him.

Drew smiles and rubs my knee comfortingly "That's good Sis" he states "I've finished with my travelling schedule now, so we'll be flying back home within the next few days" he explains.

I forgot that Drew being here would mean us going for the funeral – it has been arranged for ages, so that it would fit in with whenever Drew got back from travelling, but I honestly have no idea how I am going to tell anyone about it and it isn't exactly the easiest thing to bring up in conversation with your friends.

I sigh and Drew smiles but sadly this time "We all know it's going to be hard Sis, I don't feel like any of us are ready for it and I'm the eldest" he jokes slightly.

Sensing that I am a little upset, Drew pulls me over to him and tucks me under his arm "I knew it was happening but can we just not talk about it right now?" I ask softly.

He sighs but presses a kiss to the side of my head "Whatever you want Sis" he comments whilst tracing circles on my shoulder as a force of habit.

"On another note, I am going to the school's soccer game tonight" I look up at Drew as I talk, to see a smirk make its way onto his face.

He chuckles and looks down at me "Already getting in with the lads Sissy?" he quizzes as a joke causing me to giggle "But seriously, can I come?" he asks still with a smirk on his face.

I roll my eyes "You just want to scrutinise the friends I have made" I tell him knowingly.

Drew laughs but then shrugs "Can you blame me? I love my little sister" he defends himself making me laugh in response.

"Well, there's a game tonight or there's a game on Saturday" I say to him.

He sighs "We can't go on Saturday though" he tells me which makes a confused expression cross my face "We'll be in England by that point Sis" he clarified.

I nod in acknowledgement "Alana is going to kill me – I promised her she could go this weekend" I explain and Drew bursts out laughing.

I slap him playfully causing him to mock gasp and feign hurt "Someone will be in trouble with our niece" he claims in a high-pitched voice.

"Not if I promise to take her out when we're back" I bargain and Drew nods in seeming agreement.

I smile up at him "I still want to go to the one tonight" he states with a shrug of his shoulders.

Before answering Drew, I reach to grab my phone from the arm of the sofa where I was previously sitting until Drew pulled me over to him.

"What're you doing?" my brother quizzes out of curiosity.

As I roll my eyes again, I go through my text conversations to find mine with Tyler as then I can let him know about Drew coming.

To Tyler: Hey, just to let you know, I'm going to be bringing someone to the game tonight. I can still come beforehand if you want me to.

I don't know when Tyler will get the text or even if he will be able to read it; I usually go up to the game around half an hour before it starts to see the team and watch the warm up hence me telling Tyler I'll go if he wants me to.

"Once again, what are you doing Sister?" Drew asks with a smirk on his face.

I laugh up at him "Well, brother, I was texting my friend Tyler who is on the soccer team" I explain.

Another smirk makes its way onto my ever so lovely brother's face "Does my little sister have a boyfriend?" he questions whilst smirking.

I scrunch my nose up and shake my head "Nope. Not Tyler. No thanks" I state multiple ties making him laugh "He's a lovely lad but I don't know..." I trail off as I talk to Drew.

Drew shrugs "It's obviously up to you Sis – I mean, if you're happy with being his friend then just stay that way" he says all wisdom like.

Just as I am about to answer my brother, my phone buzzes to signal that I have a text and it turns out to be a reply from Tyler.

From Tyler: Alright Brit, looking forward to meeting your guest. Still come to the warm up, as you've done that constantly since you got here.

After reading the text, I turn to my eldest brother "Still up for the game brother?" I quiz with a smile on my face.

Despite what Drew being here means, I am still so happy to have him with me.
