Chapter Fifteen
A/N – Hey guys and welcome to Chapter Fifteen. Picture of Hannah's hotel room ^^^^
----- Reece's P.O.V -----
I find it really weird to be over here and everything is so different, firstly the passenger side is my driver's side and then they drive on the wrong side of the road and it's just so different.
I now feel sympathy for Hannah as she has had to adjust to this and so much more. Of course, the whole driving thing probably isn't the worst thing in the world but I can see it being strange to get used to.
It does seem like a nice area though, where Hannah grew up, so I am actually looking forward to listening about what it was like growing up in this town which is something I never thought I would say.
"You look lost in your thoughts mate" Drew comments, making me laugh.
I turn my gaze away from the window "Nah, just observing the surroundings" I tell him.
He nods in acknowledgement "Fair play. It's not as sunny or as warm as LA though, I'm jealous of you lot getting to live out there" he approaches the hotel as he talks.
I chuckle slightly "But you travel loads so you've got it made" I comment but Drew shakes his head.
He pulls into the hotel car park, it looks like a proper posh place, "I travel because I want to, but it's not easy. I talk to Hannah pretty much every day, but it's never the same as actually being with her or my brother or my niece or my brother in law" he explains.
He swiftly parks the car, and the two of us make a move to get out. He gets my suitcase for me, and hands it to me before the both of us walk up to the entrance.
We go in, and Drew nods over at the receptionist in greeting before I follow him into what seems to be a lounge type of area but with a bar.
I notice Hannah's other brother Dean and his daughter Alana, who I have met before as Alana came with Dean when he dropped Hannah off previously, so I am guessing the other guy is Dean's husband.
We reach the three of them, and Alana gets up to hug me "Hi Reece" she says as I pick her up to hug her.
I smile at her "Hi there little one" I greet her in response.
Dean's husband looks to me "You're Reece?" he quizzes and I nod causing him to smile "It's nice to meet you, I'm Lewis" he introduces himself.
I stretch my free hand out to him which he shakes "Nice to meet you also" I tell him and he continues to smile, I turn to Dean and Drew, "You guys are definitely okay with me being here, right?" I ask cautiously, as I don't want to impose whatsoever "It's your parents' funeral, and no one knows me here, but I just wanted to check in on Hannah" I explain.
Dean shakes his head and smiles at me "You don't need to be so formal with us Reece" he dismisses my words as he talks.
Drew nods in agreement with Dean "You're practically family now mate, you became that when you decided to fly to a whole other country just to check up on our sister" he tells me.
"Yeah" Lewis chimes in, so I look to him, "I mean, we all know you care for her and your reputation round L.A will mean you hide it but you care all the same" he smiles reassuringly whilst he speaks.
I adjust Alana in my arms and Dean looks to me, handing me a room key card which I put into my other back pocket, "Hannah is still in her room, she's on the seventh floor, room 28" he tells me.
"You sure it's okay for me to stay with you all? I can pay for my own room here" I suggest but Dean shakes his head in protest.
Drew mimics his brother's actions "Don't be stupid Reece. I doubt Hannah will mind you sharing with her and we don't mind it, so it's dumb for you to pay for your own room" Drew explains to me.
I smile slightly, before putting Alana down on the floor "I'll head up then" I tell them all.
I get hold of my suitcase again, still having my backpack on, and make my way over to where the elevators are.
It takes me up to the seventh floor, like Dean said, and I walk through the corridor until I find the room number that Dean told me.
Instead of knocking, I just open the door and push it open to drag my suitcase in and such.
The room is massive, there's the bathroom off to my right of the little entryway and a small wardrobe type thing to my left. As I walk forward slightly, I see a balcony at the end of the room, with what seems to be a great view, a small sitting area with a sofa and chair, a desk and a large-ish tv.
Then I notice Hannah sat on the bed with her laptop in front of her, not facing the door though, "Whichever brother you are, just leave" she says out loud, not turning around.
I let go of my suitcase and take my backpack off, putting it on the ground, "I thought you might have wanted to see me" I tell her.
When I speak, she turns around and gasps before getting up and running to hug me "I was wondering why you weren't replying to me, you arse" she pulls away from me as she talks "Why are you here? You should be in school, and your school is in L.A, not Birmingham" she tells me.
I roll my eyes, walking her over to the bed and the both of us sit down, "I came to be supportive as I kinda guessed you might want someone with you" I start to explain "I know I haven't known you for that long, but for some reason I feel close to you and I have no clue as to why" I tell her and she nods in response "I know your family is here for you, but I just felt like I should be here too but if you want me to go I will" I finish talking to her.
She shakes her head "I really appreciate you coming out here, I never imagined you would do something like this she tells me.
I laugh a little "Well I do have a slight ulterior motive" I say and she has a confused look on her face "I do want to take you out, and I figured it would be when you got back to the U.S, but perhaps you would want to go out in your home town? I mean, you know the place better than I do and you're more likely to have fun I guess" I ramble slightly making her laugh also.
"I definitely think we can do that" she agrees to the date whilst she talks "The funeral is tomorrow" she tells me and I nod in acknowledgement "But we could go the day after? As we don't go back for a few more days" she explains.
I shrug in response "Whenever is good for me, you can pick" I state making her smile.
She moves to sit cross legged on the bed "How about bowling? It's a laugh and we'll probably have fun" she suggests.
"I've got nothing against that" I comment with a genuine smile for once "Just as long as you're prepared to lose" I joke.
She giggles and shakes her head "It's you that needs to be prepared Eden" she jokingly replies.
I honestly never thought I would be the type of guy to be sat in a hotel room, laughing with a girl about a date.
This isn't me.

That was Chapter Fifteen, hope you liked it.
Any opinions you guys have please tell me in the comments.
A/N – The picture of the hotel room at the top is a room from Celtic Manor which is a hotel in Newport, Wales. I have actually stayed there and it's lovely, the room fits what I am imagining for the Masterson's to be staying in.
Thanks for reading.
Till the next chapter.....
