A/N: i am so incredibly pumped to be starting this book!! poe is my favorite character from the sequels, he deserves the absolute world and all the love, plot lines, weaknesses and character development we can throw at him. i am obsessed with writing because i am obsessed with the human psyche. i love developing unique characters, figuring out why they tick, and then putting them in tough situations. poe, however strong a pilot/character he may be, is no different. he deserves love and weakness. before writing this, i asked myself what scars may come along with this "hero of the resistance" persona poe has. what keeps him up at night, what haunts him. poe is a broken man, and writing this and reflecting back on my own trauma, this story has a very near and dear space in my heart. writing has always been my healing and i'm excited to share this with you all!! i'm not going to tell you all of the secrets now though! to find those out, i guess the only thing you can do is just read! enjoy, and don't forget to vote, comment, and share your support if you enjoyed. i pour my heart into everything i write, it would truly mean the world to me!
