"Thanks Edward" I thank Edward as he drives me to school, first day back in two weeks "but you know I could have driven myself, you didn't need to do this"

"I wanted to" He parks the car, everyone looks our way as Edward opens the door for me. I notice Bella by her truck looking at us jealously, today is the field trip to the botanical garden and thankfully Carlisle said I could go but only if of his kids was near me since Rosalie and Edward both have medical experience "Are you sure you don't want my jacket?" He means he thinks I'm showing off too much skin with my red floral top with long white skinny jeans and my red converse.

I shake my head no "I'm use to the cold, remember?" Plus the Cullen house is constantly cold since there is no reason for a heater.

"Your alive!" Looking over to Mike who is before us "that's amazing" looking between us "so are you two a couple or what?"

Shaking our heads no "Just being a chauffeur to her" Edward says

"Oh" Mike smiles looking relieved as he looks at me "I wanted to ask you...if you...um...it's like a month away" waving his hand "want to go to um...want to go um to prom? With me?"

"No" shaking my head "Daniel is going with me" yeah, I'm going with him to his prom as he's coming with me to mine "but you should ask Jessica, she likes you"

"Oh" he walks off then, we see Bella look at Edward and I. Or more like glaring at me while I just look at her unaffected before he goes to Bella.

"He's going to ask" I ask Edward "Bella out, isn't he?" Nodding his head "out of curiosity, Mike? How much of a jackass can you get from his thoughts?"

Edward's lips twitch amused "Come on, let's go to our bus"

"That wasn't a no" I point out

~Green House~

"You know?" I tell Edward "you need to act more human around Bella, she might realize something if you aren't careful" He asked Bella like not even ten minutes ago about her going to Jacksonville, Florida since she told Mike Newman that she is going to there to visit Renee and that her ticket is non refundable. She asked how he knew that and then proceeded to ask about the car save.

The same day I was clawed by Paul, Bella was almost crushed by a van. Tyler Crowley's van, apparently his breaks were tampered with besides the black ice that was on the pavement on the school grounds. Edward saved her by using his speed to push Bella down as he used his hand to push the van away. Why he didn't just tackle her away from the scene is unknown to me. It would have been better than using his strength to push away the van.

Leaving him, I go to the side of the bus thinking about what Harry said about imprints. This just confirms how much is a slut Emily is and a jackass Sam is, I mean Emily could have chosen to be a friend or sibling for the relationship but she chose a romantic relationship. She deserves the scars on her face.

"Hey" looking over to Bella who is beside me "I see your scars are all healed up"

"I'm not calling Renee" crossing my arms as I look at Bella.

"She's our mom" Bella sighs looking around before saying "she's really worried and wants to talk to you, could you just call her? Please?"

"Why now?" I ask

"What?" Bella frowns

"Eighteen years" I remind her "not once has Renee bothered to ask about me or get to know me, why now?" Bella doesn't say anything "Renee can call as much as she wants but I'm not calling or answering her"

"Hey" Lauren comes up next to me "I know you can't see it but your back scars look really badass"

Smiling "thanks" Bella leaves to talk to Edward or more like Edward comes up to her and says something before leaving angry.

"What did Bella want?" Lauren asks

"Renee has been calling non stop" I say "Bella wanted me to talk to Renee"

"How dumb is she?" Lauren pulls me "so, what's the deal with the Cullens? Their house? What's it like?"

"It's big" I say "very modern day contemporary, really nice people and before you ask I'm not dating Edward"

"Are you going to be" she asks as we sit down next to a flower bed "staying with them for the rest of the semester or what?"

I nod my head "Carlisle and Esme offered to let me stay with them for the rest of the semester and I said yes, you know this summer I'm going to be with Daniel, Tatyana and Mitch traveling" oh yeah, this summer I'm spending it with Daniel, Tatyana an Mitch. Mostly Daniel through Europe and even Asia. We're using the prize money that we've won these last few competitions for the entire thing "then I'm going to that school down in LA"

"Yeah" Lauren nods her head "what's that school called?"

"Palm Woods something" shrugging my shoulders "I don't know, it's just that Daniel and I will be in California learning from one of the best coaches and we'll be staying at the Palm Woods" Daniel and I will be getting ready for the Olympic's and the pressure that is on us, it's both frightening and exhilarating.

"Doesn't your favorite band" she asks "Big Time Rush? Don't they live their?"

"Do they?" Blushing, yes I'm a fan of Big Time Rush "I didn't know"

"So...will it just be you and Daniel or"

"Just Daniel and I" confirming "yeah"

~Saturday~

"This scar" Eric stares at my scar, I'm down in La Push with the others wanting to see the whales since I don't really know how to surf and I don't really feel ready or good in wanting to know here in Forks. Maybe in a warmer climate I'd learn "is so cool"

"Thanks" muttering as I have my camera out taking a picture of a whale "Oh! Since my near death experience" looking at everyone "I've wanted to start scrapbooking so" showing my camera "care to be apart of a photo?"

"Yeah" they get into a group and I take a few photos, some with me in them. Rosalie told me that one day I'll be turned into a vampire, when she told me that I decided to start scrapbooking and keeping a diary.

"Bella!" I see Jacob Black come over with a couple of his friends. He sees me "Catalina"

"Jacob" I acknowledge him before walking away, I go towards the tide pools and take photos of the animals. I hate how the Cullens feed from animals, why can't they just feed from humans like normal vampires? Feeding from animals is wrong on so many levels, I mean there are so many horrible people in the world. I'd rather kill a human any day than kill an animal if I were a vampire. Leave the animals for humans to eat while they eat the humans. The animal for kingdom.

"Cat" I stiffen hearing that one voice, looking over I see Paul before me. Shirtless as it seems he normally is now a days.

Looking around I see Jared and Sam here as well, why the fuck do these assholes think they can order me around. "What" looking at Paul in the eyes "the fuck do you want?"

"I came to apologize" he says "I shouldn't have gone to see you, given how angry you are with me" he doesn't say anything else "I'm also here to ask that you not stay with the Cullens anymore, that you stay on La Push. At the pack house where you'll be safe and Emily really wants to talk and be friends again"

"Really?" Scoffing as I cross my arms "your not even going to apologize for fucking my sister in my own home!" I start to yell, the audacity this man has "or the total jealous bullshit you pulled at the championship?"

"Can we" Paul calmly asks "not talk about this here?" He means there are people around, my friends are looking our way including Bella and Jacob.

"You don't get the right to ask me to forgive you" I yell "especially when you think I'm not angry over the fact that you fucked the one person I resent most! You fucked her in the one place I'm supposed to feel safe but I can't because just being at home reminds me of your man whore ways! Now your asking me to not stay with the people who have been helping me since the wolf incident!"

"They" Paul growls "aren't good people, their not even alive"

"I don't care!" Yelling at him "you lost the right to care about me when you pulled your dumb ass bullshit! Don't talk to me ever again!" I storm off when he grabs my arm "No!"

"Paul" Sam calls out "leave Catalina alone"

"I don't trust the Cullens!" Paul snaps at him, his grip on my arm tightening that it hurts "neither should she"

"Let go of my arm" pulling away, I see a bruise on my arm from where his grip was tight.

"I'm" Jared comes over along with Sam "going to take Cat home, Cat? Is that okay?"

"You and I" I point to him "are going to have words" he nods his head, we La Push beach as Sam drags Paul in the opposte direction.

"Hey" Angela is by our side "are you leaving?"

Nodding my head "Sorry guys" looking at the others are I grab my bag "Jared's taking me home"

"What's Paul's problem with the Cullens?" Jessica asks "is he like jealous and wants you back or"

"Jessica" Lauren shakes her head "I'll see you later" nodding my head, we take Jared's truck which is here.

"You turn into a wolf" I state breaking the silence that has gone on for a few minutes.

"I do" nodding his head

"Can I just say I think it's really fucking awesome that you can do that?" Looking at him "I mean an actual wolf"

He chuckles "your not angry with me?"

"It's your secret" I say "and if you didn't want me to be brought into this world you have every right not to tell me—the only people from La Push I'm angry with are Sam, Paul, and Emily"

"How are things with the Cullens? Also do you what me to take you home?" He asks

I nod my head "I've got something at home that I need, plus Charlie is working right now so...yeah"

"How are the Cullens treating you?" He asks

"Really good" nodding my head "the respect my boundaries, they feed me well, Rosalie Cullen she's starting to teach me about self defense" yeah, a few days ago I asked her and she agreed to train me.

"That's good" we go into my house then, I look up the stairs scowling "I heard what Paul said" looking over at Jared "wolf telepathy, we can literally hear everything we think but only to the pack which is currently us three"

"What's your anger level right now?" I ask

He frowns "I'm not really angry, why?"

"Don't hate me but I talked with Harry" I say "and he's going to allow Alice's vision of me come true"

"What vision?" He asks crossing his arms

"After I graduate high school" I say "the Cullens are turning me into a vampire" his eyes widen "I'm a human who shouldn't know Jared, I know that for the witches and vampires I either die or become supernatural"

"The treaty" he growls

"Harry told the Cullens as long as it's me" I calmly say "it's alright" I don't know why, but Rosalie has been urging me to turn into a vampire even though I'll be losing a lot like my ability to have kids. I mean I've never pictured having kids and am uncertain about it but I know if I have to choose death or being a vampire. I'll become a vampire.

"Paul won't let that happen" shaking his head

"Your not mad?" I ask

He looks away before nodding his head "I am mad, but I know you...you'll kill people who are murderers or rapists or something like that not innocent people. Does it have to be right after high school?"

"Maybe I could ask to push it to twenty one?" I suggest "but no later" I hug Jared, he hugs me back "thank you for being understanding about this"

"Your a good person Catalina" he rubs my back "I could never be really angry with you, your one of my closest friends. Mine and Kim's"

"Which reminds me" pulling away "I want to spend more time with her before I turn"

"I know Kim wants to do a girls day thing with you" he says "but now let's be real, once your turned will you try to kill Paul?"
