Mission Succesful

Gotham Coastline
9:21a.m.

The sun is up, the sky is bright, and the air is cool. Gotham Coastline, the sound of peaceful waves crashing against the shores, salty cool breeze blowing, small shellfish crawling and running about the sand, and so on.
Above the shoreline, where the road was is where the Batmobile was parked and waiting there was Nightwing, a.k.a Dick Grayson and Catwoman, Selina Kyle. They were instructed by Batman to wait for him and the others when they return back with Damian. So that's what they did. Only thing is, they weren't expecting the heroes to take forever. Selina gave up waiting when the sun started rising. She decided to step onto the soft sand of the beach. She changed her uniform and put on a black bikini. To avoid too much exposure of her cleavage, she wore a cover-up beach dress over her swimsuit and a black sunhat with fake flowers over it to complete her look. When she was done, she walked over to the beach and found a perfect spot, just a few steps away from the shoreline and where there are no sand fleas or crabs crawling around. She pulled out a towel from her bag, lay it on the ground, and then herself on it. She took out a pair of sunglasses from her bag as well and wore them.
Dick? He remained in his uniform while guarding and waiting for the heroes to come back.
"God what is taking them so long?!" Dick Grayson folded his arms and leans against the doors of the Batmobile. "They said they'd be here around midnight... and it's already past 9 in the morning."
"Quit your worrying, Grayson," Catwoman said in a calm tone while sunbathing on the shore. "It's Batman, he knows what he's doing."
"So why don't you shut up, get out of those tights, and enjoy some R&R before they get back."
"I can see you're worried just as much as me, Selina," Grayson said sarcastically. "I'm still surprised by the fact you keep a spare outfit hidden in the Batmobile."
"What do you need it for?"
She got up and turn around, pulling down her sunglasses to meet his eyes. "Oh you know... in case of an emergency... or special occasions." She winked with a suspicious smile.
"You know what, nevermind." Dick blushed, embarrassed. "I don't need to know the rest."
"What are you implying, hot stuff?" She raises an eyebrow but her smirk remains. "That Bruce and I would... do it... in the Batmobile?"
"Judging by the way you winked and smiled, maybe?" He said, avoiding eye contact.
She scoffs. "Well, now I know you're mind is no longer innocent as you always claimed." She chuckles as she lay back down. "Relax, I'm just messing with you."
"Let's just say... I see something I want... and it's on the beach. It's not like I can walk to the beach wearing leather without catching attention now can I?"
"So, with the proper outfits -- hair and makeup too-- a girl can blend in with the crowd and get the things she wants without attracting any attention to herself." She said.
               "Understand?"
"Yes." He said. "Stupid but yes."
"Says the man who's wearing tights all the time." She places her hand on the back of her head. "Well, not all the time."
She chuckled in a way where Dick had to think what she meant... only to be annoyed and gave up at the end.
He raises his chin up high into the air to take in the magnificent view of the morning sky. A masterpiece he calls it, fluffy as cotton candy clouds slowly moving along an ombre colored sky while the sun shining through some of them and the surface of the sea reflecting the sun.

Through the clouds, a black dot appeared which got bigger every second. He fixed his eyes on it and soon realized that it was the Batjet.
"Well, they're back." Selina takes off her sunglasses as she gets up and began walking towards Dick.
In no time, the jet was floating above Selina and Dick. The engine cooled down as the jet started landing while creating a gust of winds and upsetting the layer of sand around the area. The wheels came out and landed safely on the beach.
The doors began to open. The first to come out was Zatanna who took off her shoes before stepping out of the jet and onto the sand.
"Oh yes, that feels nice." She said.
Next to come out was Havania and Raven who flew out and landed next to Zatanna as they wait for Damian and Bruce to come out. Catwoman and Nightwing began walking towards them.
Nightwing cracked a smile when he saw Batman and his little brother walking down from the plane. It seems like the journey back home from Atlantis had given Damian some strength to walk on his own. "Damian!" He calls out to his little brother as he runs towards him and gave him a hug. "You're back! And human again!"
"We're in public, Grayson," Damian said.
"I don't care." He said. "I really missed you... we all did."
Bruce continues to walk down and approached Selina. "Nice outfit." He said.
She reaches for his hand and held it. "Enjoy the view while it lasts." She said as she stood closer and lay her head on his shoulder with her eyes fixed on the two siblings. "Thank goodness he's alright."
               "You okay?"
"I'm happy, Selina." He lay his head on hers and watches his sons being themselves. Damian kept pushing Nightwing's face away but he refuses to let go of him just yet. "Very happy."
"Raven, Zatanna, and Havania... thank you so much for helping us. He wouldn't have made it back without you three."
               "No problem, Bruce," Zatanna said.
"I'm glad I could help you out." Havania lightly bowed.
"He's my friend, I will always help him if I can," Raven said.
"We just finished an intense mission just now," Zatanna said. "What do you say we have some R&R here before heading back?"
"Oh yes, that would be nice!" Havania said excitedly. "I've been busy with hospital work lately I didn't have time for some relaxation."
"I don't see why not." Bruce smiles. "After all, Selina's already dressed for the beach."
Raven turned around and left the adults while they chat. She made her way towards the Bat brothers where Dick was still teasing his little brother on how he's wearing nothing but a towel.
When Dick spotted her coming, he stopped teasing Damian and turned around to face her. "I'll be over there." He said. Apparently, he knew she wanted to talk to him privately so he gave them some space and joined the adults.
Damian walked over to the shoreline where the waves kept crashing onto his feet. He kept his eyes on his feet as he sees and feels the sand running back and forth. Raven walked over stood next to him.
"After many days of living as a siren, it feels weird and nostalgic to stand on my feet again." He said as he lifts his palm up to see his regular human hand with no fins or scales. "I'll miss my tail... and all the abilities I was able to do."
"How long has it been since the day I became a siren?"
'It'll be a month tomorrow." She said.
"I've been a siren for nearly a month." He said. "That's...... wow... I don't know."
"The way the sea tells the time is so much different than on land."
Raven's eyes gazed down to Damian's neck where a necklace with a compass pendant hangs. "You know, I didn't want to ask you on the jet because you might be tired." She said. "But, isn't that Jon's necklace?"
               "It is." He replied.
"Why do you have it?" She asks. "If you don't mind me asking."
"He gave it to me... sort of," He said as he held the necklace with his fingers. "The day I fell into the ocean along with the tank, I saw him from below the waters but he couldn't see me. He took off the necklace and dropped it in. I didn't know why exactly but I held onto it."
"Guess you'll find out why when you see him later on." She said. Raven conjured up a small pouch on her palm and held it towards him. "By the way, Aquaman said this belongs to you."
Damian glances towards the pouch resting on her hand and takes it. He opens it to see the gems he brought from the Mariana Trench. He chuckles. "Thank."
"Gems?" She asks. "What do you plan to do with those?"
He pulled out the ruby and noticed that the weight of it was heavier compared to holding it underwater. Then he remembered a simple science theory about water buoyancy. Without buoyancy, objects become heavier. The ruby shimmers and shines beautifully with the sunlight which became a treat to his eyes. "This is for Jon." He said as he offered Raven to hold it. She took it and lightly glanced around it.
"And what's he supposed to do with it?" She asks. "Use as decoration? Sell it?"
"I don't know yet." He said as his eyes traveled around the area and casually landed on Catwoman. "But I think Selina could be some sort of help... since she's a gem freak."
               "Follow me?" He asks her.
"Sure." She said as both of them walked towards the adults.
Havania, Zatanna and Dick were having a contest on who could be a perfect sandcastle without using magic or powers. The human way. Apparently, Dick was having fun while Havania and Zatanna were struggling to keep the damp sand from falling off their towers.
Bruce and Selina on the other hand were lying underneath a huge coconut tree while munching on some fried goodies they bought from the food stall. Bruce was already out of his Batman uniform and is now shirtless with knee-length shorts and Croc slippers under his feet.
Raven and Damian approached the Bat and Cat. "Father, can I have a word with Selina... alone." He asks.
Selina and Bruce exchanged looks but agreed to it at the end. "Sure." He said as he stood up. "I'll join the rest."
Bruce walked away and the two turned around to look at Selina again. "Yes?" She asks as she sits up. "Can I help you, Damian?"
Damian held out the pouch with the gems in it and pulled out the ruby. "Yes." He said, showing her the ruby.
"I need your help in making this gem into something small and useful and maybe meaningful." He said.
"Nice rock." She said with her eyes widened like a cat when they spot something shiny. "Something useful and meaningful huh?"
"How about adornments such as a necklace? A ring? Crown or something?"
"How about a necklace?" He asks. "Do you know anyone who can make this gem into a pendant?"
"Honey, you're looking at her." She smiles.
"You?" He asked, surprised. "You're a jeweler?"
"I'll have you know that I don't just steal jewels... I make them as well." She said. "You're looking at an expert who knows how to turn a million door rock into something beautiful that's worth even more."
"Wait, who's the necklace for? You?"
"No, it's for Jon." He said.
She smirks. "Of course it is." She said under her breath. "Well then, if you want, I can help you with this."
"How much do you charge?" He asks.
"It all depends on what kind of material you want on the necklace." She said. "There's gold, bronze, silver, and so on."
"I have the list of every material back in my apartment. I could get it for you to decide which you would like."
"No, take me now." He said. "I want you to help me prepare this necklace before I return home."
               "Now?" She asks.
               "Now." He repeated.
"But we're in the middle of some R&R," she said.
"Please?" He said to which Selina's soft spot has shown up.
"Alright alright." She said. "But please put on some actual clothes... it'll be weird if people saw a kid entering my apartment with only a towel around his waist."
"That can be arranged," Raven smiled.
Selina got up and collected her things and began walking towards the Batmobile. "I'm sure Bruce won't mind if we borrow the Batmobile." She said. "Come on, let's go."
