I sigh and twirl the pencil around my finger.

"Pay attention Rinn," Sasha says. "You need to get your license which means you need to learn all these road signs."

"Why do I need to learn it if I don't have a car?" I ask her.

"Because! You're 19 and you are gonna turn 20 soon, you need to get a license," she says.

Connie nods. "Trust me, I passed it, you definitely will, too."

I groan and rest my head on the table. I just got off work about half an hour ago and now they are helping me practice for my license. I can't forget about the other day though. If Sasha and them didn't show up, I really feel like I would've had to fight someone. I look down at my wrapped up hands.

"Here, on the house kids," Niel says placing down three hot chocolates for us.

"Thanks Niel!" Sasha says grinning and taking a sip of her drink.

"Do you need help closing up?" I ask him.

He shakes his head. "I had Jocyln clean up everything, all I need to do is lock up."

The sound of the door jingling makes me turn my head. I almost drop my cup.

"Excuse me sir, but we are closing up," Niel says.

The low white tee shows off the tattoos on Eren's skin.

"What do you want Jaeger?" Connie says get up.

He chuckles. "Nothing really baldie, I just want to talk to Rin. Mind if I walk you home?"

Sasha stands up as well. "You really think we are just going to let you take Rin? You're probably going to hurt her!"

"If something violent is going to happen, I'm not afraid to call the cops," Niel says holding up his phone.

"Calm your dick," Eren looks at everyone bored.

His eyes trail over to mine. "Look, I'm not gonna hurt you. I just want to have a friendly chat. It's just me, Mikasa and Armin aren't here either."

Sasha and Connie start arguing more with him, but he doesn't even look their way. I sigh. "Fine."

They look at me surprised. I get up and put on my coat.

"Are you sure hon? If he's forcing you I will dial 911," Niel says.

I shake my head. "Nah, I'm fine. Plus, they aren't too fond of me right now I'd rather avoid those assholes."

I turn back towards Eren and I pull out a knife in my pocket. "You try something, I'll kill you on the spot."

He smirks down at me amused. "You're fiery, I like that. But yes I understand, no need for the threats princess."

I walk out waving bye to Sasha and Connie. Right when I get outside, the cold air hits my cheek hard. It's snowing again. I start walking down the street towards my house.

"How was the jail cell for six months?" Eren asks me.

"Fine," I say not bothering to look at him.

"I heard from a little birdie that you've been telling people that you were framed," Eren says cutting to the chase.

I can't help but chuckle. I stop walking and I look towards him. "What are you going to do? Threaten me? I have nothing dear to me. You want to kill me to shut me up? If you do that, you are getting arrested for sure. You can't run away from that one Jaeger."

He looks down at me. I notice the smile is wiped off his lips. I move a little closer to him, surprising him.

"You know what I thought for those last six months?" I ask him. "I thought of ways I could kill you. Maybe I should shoot you in front of your little whores so they can all go and cry over your bleeding body."

His gaze doesn't falter from my eyes. "You have a knife with you don't you? Why not kill me now?"

I smirk at him. "Because if I do that, I'd go back to prison for life. As much as I had fun in there for six months, I don't think I can last there for a lifetime."

I start walking away from him. Before I cross the street, I look back one last time. "I'll kill you without getting caught Jaeger, then you'll be the one suffering."

After that, I walk before the timer goes to red. When I get to the other side of the street, I take a left and walk down the alleyway. I look back one more time and I see Eren disappeared from my view. I guess he decided to go back home. While I'm walking backward, I hit something. I turn around and see a few men there.

"Hey there sweets, what are you doing here this late at night?" one of them asks.

He smiles and his yellow rotten teeth shine in the slight light from the lamp post.

"Excuse me, I gotta get home to my husband," I lie smiling politely.

I try to move, but another guy blocks my path.

"What are you in such a hurry for? Your husband can wait," one of them says.

Another one grabs my waist. "You sure are pretty."

"Please let me go," I say frantically trying to get away but the first guy pushes me against the damp wall.

He reaches in my pocket and pulls out the knife I had in there."Why you got this? A good housewife shouldn't be carrying dangerous things like this."

He throws it away from me so I can't use it. I scream but another one clamps his mouth over mine. I bite his hand, causing him to let go of me. I quickly pick up my knife and start running in the other direction.

"Get back here bitch!" they yell.

I feel tears rolling down my face. Shit, I'm going to get caught. While I'm looking back, I hit something hard. I look up terrified but for some reason I get calmed down at the sight. Eren stands there with a cigarette in his mouth. He looks down at me then behind me. His eyes go hard.

"Excuse me sir, that's our lady over there, mind if we take her off your hands?" the middle one smiles at him.

I look up at Eren, begging him with my eyes. Damn it, this is Jaeger we are talking about. He's going to let them have me. I legit just told him that I would kill him. Out of no where, I feel Eren wrap his arm around my waist.

"Why do you guys want my girl?" He asks in a cold voice.

"SO this is the husband huh?" another one mutters. "We could take him."

Eren sighs then passes me his cigarette. "Hold this for me."

I obey and watch him still in shock. He throws a punch straight at the middle's guy's face. I see a tooth fall out and blood spill down his face. He looks at the other two.

"If you don't scram in the next two seconds, I'll fucking kill you," he says.

The other two scramble away quickly holding the other guy. After they disappear, Eren turns back around. He looks at me and scoffs. He grabs his cigarette and takes a puff walking away from me.

"Don't walk alone in these alleyways at night dumbass," he says.

He turns back around when he realizes I'm not walking. "Come on, I'll walk you home. I got a few more questions for you."
