Ymir's POV (Before leaving California)
I hear loud knocking on the door so I walk to the front.
"Who is it?" I ask when I notice Historia already there.
Her eyes are wide as she turns around. My brows furrow as I walk up. The safety chain is still on.
"Eren?" I ask confused.
"Is Rin there?" he asks.
I can tell he's angry. Really angry. And maybe a bit worried.
"No," I say plainly.
"You're lying, she's no where else," he says. "Tell her to come out."
I shake my head. "She isn't here, she left already. I don't know where she went," I lie.
He punches the hard wall. His breathing is heavy as well. This man must be really frustrated. But for what reason? He hurt Rin.
"You don't deserve to see her anyways," I say.
"Ymir!" Historia says trying to calm me down, but I ignore her.
"She was so happy, I haven't seen her like that since highschool," I say. "You fucked up her life and I can never forgive you for that."
"I didn't mean to," he says but it seems like he's mostly talking to himself. Trying to convince himself he isn't in the wrong.
"Soon, she isn't going to be here, we are taking her away on a vacation," I say. "You won't see her for a while."
His eyes go wide. "Where are you going?"
I shrug. "I don't know."
He pushes his face closer to me. "Tell me."
"I don't even know if she's going to agree to it yet, so I can't tell you," I sigh.
I notice a defeated look on Eren's face. I've never seen him like this. I roll my eyes.
"Malibu seems like a good spot though," I hint.
There's a sparkle in his eyes.
"But I wonder who's going tos tay here and take care of her dad," I hum.
"Ymir, I need to talk to her," he argues.
I shrug. "I'm not figuring this out for you Jaeger, this is your shit, you fix it."
I close the door on his face and lock it to make sure. I turn to look at Historia and see she's smiling at me.
"What?" I ask her.
"You know you always put up a strong front, but really you're a softie," she says.
I roll my eyes and wrap my hands around her face. "Oh yeah?"
SHe gulps. "Uh huh."
I smirk before picking her up and walking to our room.
Rin's POV (present)
"YOu sure you don't wanna drink Rin?" Historia asks me.
I shake my head. "Nah, I"m good. I'll just take a water."
It's already the third day we are here. It's pretty nice not having to worry about any responsibilities. I turned off my phone so I wouldn't get any texts either. My mood's pretty good right now, so I don't want to ruin it.
"Hey Rin," Sasha says.
I look over at her. "Hmm?"
"Brunnette, 12 o clock," she says. "He's been staring at you the whole time."
I turn around and see him. He has a drink in his hand and is staring at me. He doesn't even look away when I look over at her. I look back over at Sasha.
"He's attractice," I admit. "But he looks older."
"So? You're not a minor anymore," Sasha says. "Go."
She pushes me slightly. I pull down the mesh cover up skirt a bit before walking over to him. He notices me come over and I see a small smile rise on his face.
"Hello," he says as I take a seat next to him.
"Hi," I say.
I analyze him and notice how he holds a cup. "Why do you hold a cup like that?" I point out.
He looks down at his hand. "It's comfortable, try it."
I grab my own cup like that and I notice it is a little better. "Huh, I never thought of that."
"So, what's your name?" he asks me.
"Rin," I say. "And you?"
"Levi," he says. (AHHHHHH)
His features are as if they were cut precisely. He looks clean. But his eye bags do stand out. He seems like he's normally strict but he's taking a break.
"Are you single Levi?" I ask him, feeling a burst of confidence go through me as I lean my head against my hand looking at him.
He takes a sip of his beer before looking at me through his black hair. "And if I was?"
I creep up my hand to his shirt collar. "Then maybe we can go have some... fun?"
I look up at him with innocent eyes. I notice something spark in his. He downs his drink in one go before standing up. He holds his out for me.
"Maybe you'd like to see the view from my room? It's on the top floor," he says, slightly smirking.
I feel a mischevious smile rise on my face. "Sure."
We start walking out and I turn around to see all the girls cheering. I wink at them before following Levi out. He's not much taller, maybe 5'11" (HAHA as if). He takes me to an epensive looking hotel and we go in the elevator. When we get to his room, he invites me in and locks the door behind him. I look around the place. It's nice. It has a balcony that overlooks the whole beach. I walk outside and look down. The sounds of people partying and the oceans waves calms me down.
"Told you it was a nice view," Levi walks in from behind me and wraps an arm around my waist.
"You were right, it's beautiful," I say.
"Live in the city?" He asks me.
I nod. "It's nice to not hear the sounds of cars honking all night."
He chuckles. "I gotta agree with that."
I turn around and face him, running my hands down his chest. "You still up for some fun, Levi," his name rolls off my lips.
He smirks down at me. "I wouldn't mind you showing me a good time."
