Back at it with chapter 3, this will focus on Lo and Hydra having several training sessions before Hydra battles Bowser in a rematch. However, in a shocking twist, a fighter will join making it a two-on-one situation that Lo will not sit by. Please enjoy!

The next morning, very early, Hydra and Lo would be heading towards the pedestals as Hydra began typing in the requirements for the training session. Hydra picked the Fountain of Dreams stage as he went to the left pedestal with Lo standing on the right. The two were transported as Lo noticed the night sky feeling empowered.

"I want you at your most powerful," Hydra said smirking as Lo chuckled.

"Can't say if you're brave or just plain old Hydra," Lo replied as Hydra took on his usual stance smirking. Lo replied taking on a new stance.

"Keep me entertained and I'll show you just how much we've changed," Lo said as Hydra rushed Lo with a volley of strikes with Lo quickly blocking, deflecting, or clashing Hydra's attacks quickly smirking a bit. Hydra would immediately notice the massive change in style as he knocked me back with a massive force palm. Lo rolled back onto his feet smirking a bit.

"You changed... what the hell have you been up to?" Hydra asks as Lo chuckles.

"You wouldn't believe it if I told you," Lo replied as Dëm appeared in spirit form next to Lo.

"How about we skip the formalities..." Dëm suggests.

Lo chuckles as Hydra tilts his head. Lo thinks for a second eyeing Hydra.

"I don't know dear brother, I think he wouldn't be able to handle it..." Lo said as Hydra pouts a bit.

"I wanna fight him... the one I call my brother," Hydra replied knowing who Lo and Dëm were talking about. Lo and Dëm could feel another presence empowering them as if he wanted to do the same as well.

"Funny... we didn't want to rely on him because of how hurt he was..." Lo said as Hydra hums.

"I can imagine it..." Hydra said as Lo and Dëm, who had appeared, smirked. Dëm and Lo would began channeling their energies as white angelic energy began seeping into Lo transforming him into his true angelic form. The two brothers began floating into the air as they turned to solid energy and spun around before slamming together into one creating a massive beam of gray energy onto the field. A silhouette began appearing as Hydra had his arms up covering his eyes from the bright light. The light disappears as a new being stood wearing a black shirt with a gray jacket over it. Silvery military pants would shimmer in the night light as Hydra trembled slightly in awe and fear.

"Logan... is that you?" Hydra asks as I would chuckle a bit slowly opening my eyes which were now a ruby red in color.

"In the flesh..." I replied as my stance shifted frowning a but. Hydra's body trembled as he stared at me sensing npew energy coming off my body. Hydra smiled excitedly and began attacking me rapidly as my instincts kicked in with Hydra's attacks being easy deflected and retaliated by my forearms as I smirked.

"I told you that I've evolved since long ago..." I replied kicking Hydra back as he panted holding his gut feeling more pain than imagined as he began laughing. I took on another stance as Hydra jumped up launching an aura sphere at a floating Smash Ball shattering it and turned to his Mega form. I was taken aback by the familiar form but felt new aura surging from Hydra as I chuckled.

"Seems like you've been practicing," I replied as my jaw would be struck by Hydra who moved much faster than before and delivered more powerful strikes as I groaned slightly getting back up as Hydra cracked his knuckles smirking.

"Laura's been helping me discipline my Mega form much better," Hydra said as I laughed a bit.

By this point, some of the other fighters had woken up and were in the living room seeing the screen on with Hydra's and my spar match on the screen.

"Who's that guy?" Fox asks Ness and Lucas who were up watching.

"I heard Hydra call him, Logan," Ness said frowning, "He doesn't seem like a threat."

"I've heard that name before..." Fox said as a woman with short hair and an one piece skin suit approaches them giggling.

"Dear Logan has appeared?" The woman said as the two boys and male kitsune turned their heads quickly.

"Hey Bayonetta," the three guys said as Bayonetta adjusts her glasses.

"Logan is one of the greatest warriors that lives," Bayonetta said smiling, "Capable of both magic and normal combat. His demon and angel are the prince warriors of their respected Realms granting Logan limitless power."

"You're joking?" Ness asks as Bayonetta shook her head.

"Ness, I've seen his power first hand," Bayonetta replied, "Even I was brought to my knees..."

Ness, Lucas, and Fox slowly eyed back the screen as Mega Hydra panted slightly.

"You're still in your normal form," Hydra said as I smiled a bit, "What gives? Scared?"

Hydra began laughing a bit as I sighed.

"When was the last time you and I battled like this?" I asked as Hydra smirked a bit.

"Several years ago," Hydra replied as I nodded.

"Then know that anything is possible," I replied as Hydra rushes me only for his fist to be caught, as if I read his move, Hydra would look into my eyes as they turned a celestial blue color, "This is... something that no one has seen."

Hydra went wide eyed as I released a celestial roar releasing a new synergy of celestial blue light shoving Hydra back as the energy began turning more vibrant in color.

"Woah... this energy is surreal," Hydra said feeling the energy streams radiating around him. A chuckle escapes as Hydra went wide eyed at the being that now stood.

"Surprised?" I asked with a more calmer voice as Hydra trembled feeling a new energy, "This is my Spirit Warrior form. I acquired it a couple of years ago."

"This power isn't godly or human..." Hydra said as I chuckled.

"This is something entirely new," I replied before Hydra sprinted towards me energizing his fists in aura. A small smile formed as I began dodging at a speed not possible for anyone. Hydra was wide eyed before my fist slammed devastating into Hydra's gut region as Hydra coughed up blood. Hydra growls before releasing his berserker rage as I frowned a bit.

"That's new," I replied as my movement became slightly heightened with Hydra relentlessly attacking me with his aura. I growled slightly as I kept moving around but would spit blood over Hydra's face as Hydra's fist dug into my chest.

"Hurts doesn't... it?" Hydra asks noticing a difference between how I usual are with pain and now. My eyes glowed as I swung a hammering punch into Hydra's jaw launching him back as I smiled.

"Time to get serious..." I said as the blue energy turned to solid white with Hydra standing back up to a normal stance.

"Let me show you full power," I replied as Hydra rushed me with my deflects occuring much faster as Hydra was wide eyed before my fists clubbed him once more as Hydra felt his energy surge for a Smash Attack.

"That's it!!" Hydra yells as his aura surges much higher. Cupping his hands together, Hydra began creating a concentrated beam in his paws as he roars releasing a massive aura beam in my direction. Without hesitation, my arms went in front of my face as I blocked the beam from striking a majority of my body as I was pushed back towards the edge of the area.

"He is done," Ness said as Lucas and Fox agreed. Bayonetta began giggling watching the scenario.

"I think you need to watch closely," Bayonetta said walking away.

"I forgot to mention..." Hydra hears my voice before his energy beam would part with my hands moving to opposite sides as I smirked wicked. Hydra went wide eyed before I slowly opened my mouth generating a purplish pink light.

"The energy of others obey me in special cases... Spatial Cannon!" I roared releasing as massive celestial pinkish purple beam from my mouth with it striking Hydra head on launching him out of the area. The pair of us appeared back as Hydra panted slightly eyeing Lo who smiled at him.

"That was a jackass maneuver, and where's Logan?" Hydra asks as Lo hums.

"He's still here but due to a couple restrictions from certain beings," Lo replied as Hydra immediately understood.

"Maybe I can talk to Tabuu and see if we can get that lifted, you'll need that power," Hydra said as Lo laughs a bit.

"Bullshit," Lo replied as Bayonetta approaches him, "Well I'll be damned, hi Bayonetta."

Bayonetta and Lo would hug as Dëm would appear chuckling.

"Simp," Dëm said as Bayonetta held up her pistol to his skull, "I'll take it back."

"How have you been dearie?" Bayonetta asks as Lo sighs.

"Better, I guess," Lo said as Hydra was gawking.

"You know her?!" Hydra asks as Lo chuckles with Tabuu floating down the stairs hearing the commotion. The others were still talking when Tabuu coughs.

"Good morning sir," The others except for Lo as he hums

"Morning Tabuu," Lo replied as Tabuu eyed him curiously.

"This will be a first. The real you vs me," Tabuu said as the other fighters went wide eyed at Tabuu with Lo chuckling, "If you keep it interesting. We'll talk."

Lo sighs before he released a roar as a titanium aura coat appear over Lo. The roar soon deitic as I appeared ready for a fight. Hydra would immediately feeling the different power in this one as I chuckled.

"Woah... this energy feels different," Hydra said as I eyed him.

"This is called the God of Light form but don't be mistaken by the name. This was the first step in recognizing the Spirit Energy I use," I replied as Tabuu smirks excitedly.

The others had woken up and ran downstairs as they stared at me with wide eyes.

"That's hot," Peach said as Mario and the other guys grew jealous, even Hydra. Tabuu floated to one of the pedestals as I walked onto the other.

"Final Destination," Tabuu said as the pair of us were teleported to the massive cosmic arena with the others watching.

"There's no way he's getting out of this," Falco said as the Pokemon fighters were making noises of affirmation except for Hydra. The other Smash fighters had also agreed watching the screen.

"If they only knew..." I said before dodging a surprise attack from Tabuu who was slightly impressed. Tabuu and I began clashing as I unsheathed my Chaos Sword for attacking. Tabuu smiles actually enjoying the battle but then quickly got serious after several of my attacks landed. Tabuu began unleashing a multitude of energy attacks as I tanked most of them but would become severely damaged.

"Is that all you have to offer?" Tabuu asks floating towards me as I was on my knees from the barrage, "Surely you are more powerful than this..."

I began laughing as I slowly stood up smirking eyeing Tabuu.

"You really have no idea who you're messing with... do you?" I asked as Tabuu growled in anger.

"Why does he tempted Tabuu, he's gonna lose?" Falco asks as Hydra was actually confused but continued watching the battle.

Tabuu kept clubbing me with blows as I kept laughing a bit. My injuries quickly healed as I would weakly stand up. Tabuu mockingly laughs throwing a massive dragonic like punch only for my hand catching it canceling out the energy. My eyes would be solid blue as I turned to my full power Spirit Warrior form.

"Finally, that took way too longer..." I said as Tabuu went wide eyed as he began striking with the same strikes with my blocks and deflects working more fluently.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Tabuu yells as I began laughing before driving my fist into Tabuu's energy jaw launching him back.

"Through battle, I can utilize my opponent's energy to ways that won't harm me," I replied, "And due to how fast my brain can process information..."

I leaned forward before my knee struck Tabuu's chin launching him back once more.

"Your energy based attacks mean practically nothing," I replied as Tabuu groans before smirking with his style completely changing. My eyes widen as I went on the defensive noticing his attacks landing as I growled.

"You really need to keep your comments to yourself," Tabuu said as I snarled.

The fighters were cheering for Tabuu slightly as Hydra frowns a bit.

"Put him out of commission, Tabuu!" Ness cheered as Lucas eyed him, "What? He deserves it."

"Right you are," Fox said holding his crotch still having painful memories.

"Tabuu is going to lose," Hydra said as the others frowned eyeing him.

"I know he's your friend..." Z. Suit Samus said as Hydra eyes her.

"That's not it, yes, he's my friend, but he's something I haven't faced before and we haven't battled in a long time," Hydra explains as the others frowned but were confident in Tabuu.

Tabuu smirks as I fell onto my knees with massive gashes and such.

"You're like the rest of them... all bark and no bite..." Tabuu said ready to end me. My face was emotionless as I smirked.

"...Is that so...?" Tabuu hears freezing up as I eyed him with a different look, "Then perhaps a true showing of how deep the rabbit hole of my power goes..."

I slowly took on a different stance as I panted slightly before tensing up drastically releasing the blue energy of my Spirit Warrior form with it turning solid white for my full power. Tabuu smiles seeing the video from my and Hydra's spar. However, my roars turned more spiritual as my energy turned a bright green color causing the platform to quake. Tabuu would stumble back as the energy grew more bigger by the second. My hair began turning more of a snowy white as my left eye turned purple while my right eye went a bright orange.

The energy would die down as rainbow colored synergies enveloped my body with the same colors shimmering on the tips to halfway up my hair. The rest of it being solid white as my clothes had changed drastically. Tabuu stumbled back staring at my new form as I smirked.

"Shall we continue this dance?" I asked with a slightly higher pitched voice. Tabuu rushes me only for Tabuu to go right through me as my body began vibrating quickly, "...My turn..."

I disappeared as Tabuu would be struck from all directions with different colored energies imploding from the strikes. I would slide to Tabuu's left as I sighed.

"Burn!!" I yelled releasing a massive wave of fire at Tabuu head on. Tabuu would use a Soundwave like attack to disrupt the flames. Tabuu smirks before grunting as a chain struck through Tabuu. I smiled as I jerked my hand back dragging Tabuu towards me.

"This is something that no one has seen before..." I said before my eyes glowed brightly. My fist slams into Tabuu's chin launching him into the air as I held my hand open generating spirit energy.

"Cataclysmic DESTRUCTION!!!" I roared launching a massive beam after receiving my Smash Attack. Tabuu would be obliterated as the pair of us appeared back in the mansion.

The other fighters were wide eyed as was Hydra staring at my form before I returned to normal. Tabuu was laughing eyeing me.

"I think you will be fine, Logan?" Tabuu said as I nodded, "What was that form called?"

"That's my Spirit Master form," I said as I sighed, "it's more complicated to explain but you understand it once your face it."

"Alright, everyone go get some chow then we'll have a rematch between Hydra and Bowser for the day," Tabuu said as the others headed for the cafeteria. I; however, would head outside staring at the city thinking to myself. I jolt slightly when a hand touches my shoulder as I stared at Bayonetta.

"Hydra explained the situation to me, you have my help finding Raiden, Logan," Bayonetta said smiling, "Now come along. You and I have some things to talk about..."

Bayonetta would walk with me having small talk as I listened to her stories while she listened to mine. The pair of us would enter the cafeteria as I chuckled a bit shaking my head.

"Seems like Luka is trying his hardest," I replied as Bayonetta giggles.

"Yes he is, oh by the way..." Bayonetta said reaching into her pocket pulling out an envelope handing it to me, "Rodin wanted me to pass this along to you whenever I got the chance."

"What is it?" I asked as Bayonetta smiles motioning for me to open it. I shrugged opening it as I pulled out a small gray necklace with multiple charms and such on it. I read the note smirking a bit.

"Oh yeah, this squares the debt he owes me," I said putting the necklace as I limped slightly with energy flowing into me. I stretched as some of the other fighters were staring at me.

"Is he single?" Peach asks as Mario eyes him, "What?"

"He isn't, he's married," Hydra replied as I approached.

"Actually, divorced," I replied as Hydra eyed me with wide eyes, "My work prevented me from actually being a family man. Raiden and I had a mutual divorce with shared custody of Lucas and Hannah."

"How are the kiddos?" Hydra asks as I chuckled.

"Still rampant," I replied with Hydra chuckling. The others finished eating as Hydra and Bowser would stand on the pedestals for their match. I eyed Hydra nodding as Hydra nodded back. The two fighters appeared on a battlefield as they began fighting. The group began cheering for their favorites. I on the other hand saw something in the distance on certain screens.

"Who do you think will win?" Ness asks as he immediately noticed me stepping towards the screen. Tabuu would immediately float over rather curiously.

"Something wrong?" Tabuu asks as I frown before feeling my demon sense going haywire.

"Send me in," I said standing on the pedestal with Tabuu growing confused, "just DO IT!!!"

Tabuu hits the button as the pedestal glows transporting me to the area.

Hydra and Bowser would be panting as Hydra felt something rushing them from a distance. A massive dark energy claw would form towards Hydra only for my sword flying around deflecting the claw.

"Damn it..." a demonic entity said appearing as I land on the ground frowning.

"Hello Gerald," I replied as the entity chuckles.

"The bounty hunter, come to finally save your loved one?" Gerald asks mockingly as I snarled in anger.

"Oh and put you several thousand feet into the fucking ground!!!" I snarled as Gerald laughed only to be slashed by my Chaos Sword when I transformed to my God Of Light form. Gerald would fly through several trees as I raised my sword generating hell fire.

"HELLISH SLASH!!" I roared releasing a demonic scream as I swung my blade which extended to biblical lengths slashing the entire forest and Gerald causing several fiery explosions to occur. Gerald would slide back as Hydra and Bowser had stopped their battle to observe with wide eyes.

"Come on now Logan..." Gerald said chuckling before his eyes widen staring at a demon approaching him from the flames.

"I am SICK of your games..." I said growling. My hair had elongated turning solid white with my skin becoming blackish purple and thick like armor. Gerald gulped before I released a howl and began attacking him harshly as Gerald would take heavy damage before knocking me back growling.

"This isn't the end not yet," Gerald said panting as he laughed disappearing but not before a bullet from my pistol tore through his arm. I lowered my right hand as I frowned slightly. The fire would flow back into my body leaving the forests untouched as Hydra and Bowser ended their battle in a tie. The three of us reentered the mansion as I immediately head towards my room ignoring the others.

The door slams shut as I sat on my bed trying to hold back the tears that began forming. I sighed slightly before getting into a meditative position closing my eyes as my perception darkened around me creating a voidless area. A spirit would appear having some of my features as he eyes me.

"Still bothered by the incident?" Artemis asks as I sighed, "You'll get her back eventually."

"I know... Gerald knows how to push every button, Artemis," I replied as I sighed with Artemis chuckling, "What?"

"Does he know that you're bi?" Artemis asks as I shook my head.

"No, and I rather keep it that way," I said hearing a knock on the door as I motioned my hand away with Hydra entered.

"Hey... get your things, we're going out," Hydra said as I tilted my head, "You are clearly troubled. And you need to release some anger."

"Okay..." I said gathering my wallet and such. I could see Ness, Lucas, and Fox waiting outside humming.
