Well, welcome to my newest fanfiction... (I swear I'll have at least twenty by the end of the year). Anyways, this story focuses on the Super Smash Bros. Videogame franchise. First and foremost, I don't own any of the characters except for my own OC, Lo, who will be featured as well as using one of my friends' OCs. Cause double the fun. Anyways, let's jump into it!

The sun was shining on the first day of the Smash Tournament. Several of the fighters had began to arrive with their stuff heading towards a massive mansion. Among the first arrivals were two boys wearing striped shirts and blue jean shorts. The boy with the raven colored hair had blue and yellow stripes on his shirt topping it off with a red baseball cap. The other boy had blonde hair looking around the exterior of the mansion timidly.

"Come on Lucas!" The raven headed boy said smiling, "It's going to be another great year of fighting."

The blonde haired boy turns looking at the raven haired boy with a small smile.

"O-of course, Ness," the blonde haired boy, Lucas, said with a shy smile. The raven haired boy, Ness, turned to look at Lucas with a smile.

"You'll be great, Lucas! Trust me!" Ness replied with a smile. Lucas nodded as they joined a line for returning fighters. Ness and Lucas were next to sign in as a Lucario was in front of them.

"Hey Zelda," the Lucario said as the princess of Hyrule looked at him, "What's Peach waiting for?"

The Lucario nudges towards another princess to the right of everyone in line. Zelda smiled slightly looking at the Lucario.

"Well, Hydra, there's rumor that we're getting a new fighter this year," Zelda said as the entire line of fighters looked at her.

"A newbie?!" Everyone yells as Zelda nodded. Murmurs began flying as Ness and Lucas snickered.

"That newbie will be in for the initiation of his life," Ness said as Lucas shuttered at his initiation. Registration for the returning fighters went by quickly and smoothly as everyone got their rooms and unpacked. Hydra, after finishing unpacking his stuff, headed outside where Peach was still standing.

"Hey, Princess Peach," Hydra said as the Mushroom Kingdom princess turned towards the Lucario who walked over to her.

"Hey Hydra..." Peach said tiredly as a small yawn escaped her lips.

"Still waiting on the new arrival?" Hydra asks as Peach nodded.

"Yeah, and he's late... I sure hope the young man didn't get lost," Peach said with concern in her voice as Hydra laughs slightly.

"Everyone's going to be late the first time they're attending the tournament," Hydra said extending out his hands, "Here, you go in and rest and I will wait for him or her."

"Would you deary?!" Peach asks in delight as Hydra nodded smiling, "Thank you so much!!"

Peach hands the Lucario the clipboard and pen then hugs Hydra placing a kiss on the Lucario's right cheek before skipping away.

"Damn, Mario is going to be jealous if he saw that..." Hydra said with a slight chuckle as he looked at the clipboard reading the name on it, "Lo? Where have I heard that name before?"

A male teen walked around looking at the many sights of Smash City. His hair was solid white with his hair tips dyed different colors. He had a white t-shirt on with the picture of an anime female warrior on and black jeans with white sneakers on. His LED headphones changed colors as the male currently was listening to music.

"Wonder where the Smash Mansion is...?" The male asked himself spinning around looking lost.

"Lost, Lo?" A voice within the male's mind asks.

"What do you think, Dëm?" The male named Lo asked as the voice chuckles.

"Have you tried your energy location ability?" Dëm asks smirking.

"Why didn't I think of that...?" Lo questioned as he closes his eyes expanding his mind. Several hundred energy signatures stood out to him; however, a massive blue aura energy stood out to him the most. A small smirk appeared on his face.

"Found the mansion and someone else," Lo said as he pressed a button on his watch. His shoes changed into rollerblades with blue wheels as Lo began skating down the street taking a right after skating for several feet. After a few minutes of skating east, Lo's head turned to his left noticing the massive mansion as well as a Lucario standing in front of the entrance.

"Is that...?" Lo asks with wide eyes as he quickly skated across the street before cars could pass by. He skids to a stop in front of the mansion looking up at in awe slightly.

"Wow... Can't believe we're here..." Lo said with awe as a small cough brought him out of his little world. He stares at the Lucario who walked over to him as Lo removed his sunglasses smirking.

"Well I'll be damned!" Lo said as the Lucario began laughing recognizing the voice immediately, "How have you been, Hydra?"

"I have been well, Lo," Hydra said smiling a bit grabbing Lo's hand and shoulder tackling him, "So you're the newbie?"the

"Apparently so," Lo said with a sigh, "Guess I'm needing to fill out paperwork?"

"Oh!" Hydra hands Lo the clipboard, "Yeah, just some personal info and if you want to room with someone."

"...You got a roommate?" Lo asks after filling out the more personal info and such.

"No," Hydra replied.

"Can I room with you?" Lo then asks as Hydra chuckles.

"Sure, then we can talk about what's been going on," Hydra said smiling as Lo filled out the rooming information putting Hydra's name on the roommate line. Lo then examines the form closely before handing it back to Hydra who also inspects it then smiles.

"Everything looks right," Hydra said then motions towards the doors, "Let's go in and meet the competition that you'll probably destroy."

"Ha... Funny..." Lo said with a smirk as the two males walked up the stairs while chatting. After Hydra opens the doors, Lo watches other fighters running around enjoying themselves.

"Tabuu must have given everyone the day before actual fighting starts," Hydra said as Lo nodded slowly.

"Uh-huh," Lo said as one of the fighters which was a orange fox wearing a flight suit/jacket combo turned over to Hydra and Lo.

"Hey Hydra," the fox said walking over as Hydra fist bumps him.

"Hey Fox," Hydra replied nudging towards Lo, "He's the newbie apparently."

"Really now?" Fox said looking at Lo with a smirk, "Doesn't look like a fighter."

"And you look like ridiculous," Lo retorted pointing at Fox's outfit, "I thought this was a fighting tournament. Not a lesson in flighting from battle."

Hydra fell to the ground laughing as everyone else turned to look at Fox with burned expressions on their face. Fox looked at Lo with wide eyes then nodded.

"I like this dude," Fox said chuckling a bit holding his hand, "Fox McCloud."

"Lo," Lo said shaking Fox's hand. Fox smirks pulling Lo towards him for a takedown. Lo gasped slightly being flung over Fox's shoulder; however, Lo's entire body flung a full 180 degrees as Lo landed on his feet unbeknownst of Fox who laughed.

"I think you may want to take a real close look," Hydra said after his laughing fit. Fox raised an eyebrow at the Lucario then yelped in pain as Lo's hand slithered in between Fox's legs grabbing his "weapon" harshly twisting it.

"No one ever takes in my flexibility," Lo said pulling Fox up over his head after he straightens himself. Hydra watched with awe then chuckles.

"Still conditioning your body?" Hydra asks as Lo smirks.

"When you're literally known as the Living Weapon of Mass Destruction," Lo said, "You make a lot of enemies. Now, is someone going to give me an apology?"

Fox growls then whimpers as Lo's grip tightens on it more. Lo felt tears hit his head as he looked up at Fox starting to cry a bit.

"I'm sorry..." Fox whimpers out as Lo smiles placing Fox onto his feet. Lo smiles slightly as he pats Fox's shoulder.

"There? Wasn't so hard?" Lo said smirking as Fox nodded, "Continue the tour, Hydra?"

Hydra nodded as he and Lo walked passed Fox while the other fighters eyed the newcomer. Some of looks of awe while others saw him as a pushover. Ness and Lucas walked over helping Fox out as Ness growls at Lo.

"Who does he think he is?" Ness spats out in disgust. Lucas on the other hand trembled slightly in fear.

"He looks strong Ness..." Lucas said scared as Ness shook his head.

"He's not going to last one minute on the field!" Ness yells in Lo's general direction.

"Sounds like you have competition already and you've been here for five minutes," Hydra said chuckling a bit.

"They'll learn who they're dealing with," Lo said with a sigh, "They always do."

Hydra chuckles leading Lo to his room down the left side of the hall. After walking for two minutes as well as showing Lo the Japanese designed bathroom, Hydra places his paw like hand onto the door console watching it slide open. Hydra flips the light on as Lo chuckles a noticing half the room was a solid blue color while other side was barren of color, things, and such. Lo walks over sitting on the empty bed on his right since Hydra's stuff nested on the left side.

"Feeling home-like yet?" Hydra asks sitting on his bed smirking as Lo taps his foot with several bags appearing causing Hydra to jump a bit.

"Magic, remember?" Lo said smirking deviously as he got up and began unpacking his things putting his shirts and such in the closet as well as pants, socks, boxer briefs in the drawers next to the closet. After this was done, Lo grabbed two more bags putting pictures onto the wall humming a bit. One picture stood out as Hydra quickly swiped it staring at it with a smirk laughing.

"You kept this one?!" Hydra said showing Lo as it had him, two girls, a female Pokemon, and Hydra in it appearing slightly younger than now. Lo nodded grabbing the picture looking at it.

"Of course I did," Lo said smiling, "You and Laura were apart of the family so how could I not."

"Damn... I miss Kelly and Raiden though," Hydra said smiling, "How are they doing?"

"Kelly's fine," Lo said then looks down at the mentioning of Raiden, "Raiden's... Raiden's been kidnapped."

Hydra jumps up slightly looking at Lo with wide eyes.

"Kidnapped?!" Hydra exclaims in worry, "What happened?"

"Don't know, I only found out after I went to visit her and saw the pentagram symbol drawn on her living room wall," Lo said sighing a bit, "And that's why I'm here. Dëm picked up strange energy pulsating from this world so I decided to check it out."

"And you're hoping to find Raiden here?" Hydra asks as Lo nodded. Hydra smiles sitting next to Lo wrapping an arm around the Lunar Guardian, "Don't worry, I'll help you find her. Whatever it takes!"

"Thanks," Lo said smiling at the Lucario. Unbeknownst of the two, Ness had followed them stopping once he saw Hydra's bedroom door opened and heard every word of the conversation as a sly smirk appeared on his face.

"Oh this will be fun," Ness said running off towards the main lobby area. Lo finished unpacking with the help of Hydra as they walked out smiling and laughing. The PA system then soon turned on after Hydra closed the door.

"All fighters please report to the main lobby..." A male voice said as Hydra and Lo looked at each other smirking.

"Looks like there will be a battle today," Hydra commented rushing towards the area with Lo sprinting behind him.

All the fighters looked at a male that was radiating with blue like energy that appeared to look digitalized. He smiles at the massive group raising a hand.

"Welcome, to the seventh annual Smash Tournament," The male said, "For anyone who hasn't participated before..."

Everyone smirked deviously at Lo.

"I'm Tabuu," Tabuu said bowing slightly, "Moderator of this tournament. Here you will battle to see who is the top fighter amongst yourselves. And this year will be different."

The fighters looked at Tabuu with curious looks.

"You've heard the rumors of a new fighter arriving and most of you have already figured out the truthfulness of it," Tabuu said motioning his hand to where Lo stood, "Welcome Lo to the Smash Universe."

There were scattered claps but no one made a noise still upset about the Fox situation.

"Lo is the main reason for this year being different," Tabuu said as Zelda look at the being.

"How so sir?" Zelda asks as Tabuu opened his mouth but Lo spoke up.

"All the battlefields have been redesigned to feature 360 degree range of battle," Lo replied as Zelda frowned at him.

"I wasn't asking you, newbie," Zelda retorted distastefully. Lo shrugged the name-calling off as Tabuu nodded.

"Also, we've up the powers of all our items and such for battles involving the newcomer," Tabuu then added as Ness frowned slightly.

"Why do that?" Ness asks, "He doesn't look like much of a threat to any of us."

"I think Hydra can and will disagree with that," Tabuu countered as Hydra sighs.

"You were right, Lo," Hydra said as Lo chuckled shaking his head. The rest of the fighters looked at the Lucario who eyed the ceiling.

"For those who call Lo a pushover or not a fighter," Hydra said tossing Tabuu a DVD "You are going to want to watch this."

Tabuu examines the tape walking over to a projector/DVD player as Tabuu inserts the film. Link walked over turning the lights off as the projector turns on playing the film. Immediately, the fighters jumped once they watched Lo blocking a massive sword with his crystal blade. A look of seriousness was on the human's face.

"Most people would tell you that I don't appear to have much of anything," Lo's voice said, "My enemies will tell you another story."

The DVD continues showing Lo fighting off armies of mythical creatures only using two silver crystals and extreme high speed. The fighters continued watching the film having awe on their faces as they watched Lo rescuing people from a burning building to then go back inside to rescue a child that was left inside. The film ends as the fighters looked over at Lo with curious looks.

"If you don't believe a film then how about a demonstration?" Lo the suggests as Ness smirks standing up pointing at Lo, "You're the brave soul that will answer the challenge?"

"That I am," Ness said smiling, "And I'm confident in my power can protect anyone. And not let someone close to me get kidnapped."

Hydra's eyes widen eyeing Lo who smirked deviously at Ness. Lo's eye color darkens to a solid black as he walked over to him.

"In my world, we have two words for people like you," Lo said darkly, "Bravery or Stupidity."

Ness growls a bit as Lo looked down at him.

"Let's see which you are... In the Demon's Ruins," Lo said as Ness smiles.

"Gladly," Ness said smirking at Lo.

Gonna end here for now. Next chapter will be Lo V.S. Ness as Lo's first match in the Tournament. Hopefully, you all stay tuned for the next chapter. Peace out Peeps!
