Maven stood outside, he couldn't help but think what had happened. He felt guilty of course, he should have done something. He knew he could. He also knew that Bella was mad at him and Calasar. He hadn't confronted her yet. He suddenly saw a figure getting out of the tower of the lord. He frowned a bit, none of them visited that place of Diamonds Bay. Usually it was their grandparents getting out of the tower and coming to see them not the other way as that tower was a really strange place.

When they were little they would sneak in there and pretend they were explorers but that was before they found something that would be stuck with them for a long long time. The basilisk. The beast everyone talked about. Sleeping. They ran and ran and ran and most of them forgot about it. But Maven didn't. He knew that one day he would command the dreadful snake and that made his veins lit up.

When he realized that that figure was Mare he followed her and called out her name

"Mare! Hey, wait" he shouted and the girl stopped walking, she turned around only to be met with Maven.

"What is it?" She asked with a sigh

"What were you doing in the tower of the lord? Hey, are you....alright?" He asked and she shook her head

"No Maven, I am not okey! All I knew up to now is a big fat lie....I am no Black, I am a fucking Targaryen!" She screamed as tears filled her eyes. Maven frowned shocked

"Hey, calm down dear. How do you...who said that?" He asked and Mare sighed as she let the tears fall

"Grandfather. He told me everything, about Jaenna and Rheagar and....that I am Rheagar's child" she said and cried as Maven wrapped his arms around her

"Shhhh.....it's okey, you are still a Black. You were raised as one, calm down please and then we can go and find Siregus okey?" He whispered and stroked her hair as she nodded slowly.

"Alright....thank you Maven" she whispered and looked up at him with a smile.

Maven was pleased deep down to hear that, no the way to her hand in marriage was open for him. He could marry her if she wasn't his cousin. He could make her his and together they could reclaim her throne.

Meanwhile later at dinner Siregus was chatting with his brother when Mare interrupted them and gave a small smile to her uncle as an apology. She turned to her father with a serious look

"We need to talk, you have some explaining to do" she said and took a sip from her wine while he frowned

"What on earth are you talking about?" He asked his daughter with a frown

"She is talking about the fact that is actually a Targaryen" Maven said and turned to Siregus as he stopped eating

Silence fell all across the table. Macon Black just sipped his wine and watched, he had done his part of explaining now it was his son's turn. Siregus sighed and nodded slowly

"What on earth are you talking about?" Bella asked and turned to her father "father what is he saying?" She asked and he sighed

"Mare is not my biological child, she is the child of Rheagar and Jaenna Targaryen. You know that your mother got married to Rheagar after she gave birth to you. I found Mare after we took the city next to her mother's dead body. You see, she couldn't bear the loss of Rheagar and the fall of her family and killed herself" he said coldly and sighed sadly

"I raised you as a Black because you are my child. You are my daughter, I loved you from the moment I saw you next to your mother. You, my children, are all that has been left from her. And the fact that Rheagar is your real father makes no difference to my love for you Mare" Siregus said and smiled softly

"So you are the princess of the seven kingdoms aren't you?" Andromeda asked with a small smile and Siregus nodded

"Does the king know?" That question came from Calasar who had been quiet. But he already knew the answer so he gave his father that look

"No....but the queen does" Siregus said and almost everyone's eyes widen

"The queen? You told Cersei Lannister that Mare is the daughter of Rheagar? What were you thinking father? You know what she can do with that-" Bella started angrily at her father's foolishness

"Stop this! Cersei would never betray me, you don't know her and I would prefer if this conversation ends now" Siregus said and finished his food as nobody spoke

Andromeda started at her cousin as she smoked. She was the most kind of them all, with the gentlest heart. She was nothing like her brother, Maven. She knew what Maven was planning, to marry Mare. He had always been jealous of Calasar as Calasar would be the lord of Diamonds Bay and his powers were always growing. She had caught him once studying about the Basilisk and how to command him. She knew he would do anything for power.

"Nothing changes you know that right?" She asked softly as she looked at Mare

"At least it makes sense why my only power is being unburnt" she said with a sigh

"Oh come on Mare, look at me. I am pretty sure my father is not very pleased that I don't use my powers. I don't want to hurt people or nature" she said

"You are the best of us all Andromeda, I am sure all of them are proud of you" Mare said with a small smile

"Calasar told me about Siregus and Cersei.... I can't believe out of all the women he chose her" Mare said with a disappointed sigh

"Don't be too harsh on him, Mare. He had been through a lot"

"I want to know what happened. The whole story Andromeda....will you help me?" She asked. They were alone in the room.

The truth is that she didn't trust Bella for this as she had a very short temper and she was already angry with Siregus. As about Maven, she wouldn't ask for him to help her as she knew he would want something in return.

"Alright, alright if you in insist. I will ask my dad, you should talk to grandma" Andromeda said and stood up, she hugged her cousin

"Get some sleep Mare" she said with a small smile as she left the room.

Mare looked at the fire, she knew that now she could even claim the throne if she wanted. Her house would help her, if she was lucky enough Robb Stark could influence his father to help her....she hoped she had earned his favor. She walked to the window and saw a carriage approaching Diamonds Bay. She frowned and asked a maid who it was.

"Oh it's a Lannister carriage my lady, lord Tywin and his son Jaime of the Kingsguard is coming along with the queen" she said and smiled Mare nodded and thanked her.

Of course if had to be her, the queen of the seven kingdoms.....for now that title belonged to Cersei.
