You see the gorgeous blonde girl over there in a screaming match with Rafe? Yeah. You heard me. Yelling. At Rafe. Cameron. Well, that's Avery Monroe. His girlfriend? His ex-girlfriend? I don't even know. Technically, according to Sarah, they never actually broke up. She just kinda... left? I guess?

Anyways, for years, they were this golden couple. Everyone thought they were going to get married and shit. Even I thought they were cute, and I fucking hate Rafe. And then Avery's mom and dad died in some freak accident the year before my dad went missing. Avery just kinda shut down after that. She left and went off to some stuck-up college in New York for two years. Her uncle's Shoupe, by the way. Just thought I should mention that. Yeah. Shoupe. The guy who took over for Peterkin after Rafe killed her.

I'm friends with her sister, Vienna, cool chick, and she said that the only reason Avery's even back is because Shoupe had to step up as sherriff. I kinda missed her, though. She babysat me and JJ when were kids and we'd torment the hell outta her. She never really gave a shit about the whole Pogue/Kook rivalry thing.

I'm not going to lie to you, I think this chapter is lowkey stupid and not well written in my opinion, but it does kinda give insight into the outside perspective of Avery and what John B thinks about her. Also, her younger sister, Vienna, is friends with the pogues. Hope you enjoyed this anyways, though.
