Hey guys I just wanted to say sorry for not posting in a while! I was really busy with school but now since it's summer I'll try to post often! Anyway enough chit chat! Let's get on with the story!

*Y/N POV*

It was almost time for Grillby to close up and him and Jason were gonna stay late to clean up after the party. I was gonna stay also but both of them suggested for me to go home. I was gonna decline before Jason said that he would come home right away once he was done. I shrugged and said "ok then, but be safe . I don't want you to get hurt, kidnapped, or worse dead". I said with a stern voice and a straight face. He nodded before I left. When I got outside I was instantly hit with the cool breeze of the night. I always loved the night because of all the stars.

I decided to take the long route home. I followed the path that leads into the woods where me and Jason stay. Instead of following the path I went deeper until I came across a cliff. I took a seat and admired the beauty in both the night sky and the shining city below.

As I was admiring the view I felt at peace. I forgot about all of my surroundings and just focused on the sight in front of me. I stayed there for a moment or two until I got up and started walking to my home. When I got there I had a strange feeling like something bad was gonna happen. I shrugged off the feeling and continued walking home. When I got home I plopped myself on the couch and watched some T.V while I waited for Jason.

~time skip~

Jason finally came back after a couple of hours. "Hey" I said with boredom while flipping through the channels. "Hey" He said with tiredness in his voice. I heard him walk over to the couch and plop himself down next to me. I then felt weight on my left shoulder. I looked over at him to see him half awake. I shifted us so I had my back on the armrest and Jason's back against my stomach and his head on my chest.(btw he is shorter than you and you guys do this all the time so it's pretty much normal for the both of you). He fell asleep instantly and I started to pet his hair as I continued to watch on the T.V. A couple minutes later I began to get sleepy so I carried Jason to his room(since he was light af)and took a quick shower. Once I was done I changed into something comfy to sleep in and flopped on my bed. I then was swallowed up into darkness.

*Jason's POV*

(Kay so I'm going to start his POV as a dream so ya)

Dream

I was holding Y/N's hand as we were walking around the streets. We just ran away from our adopted 'mother' and 'father'. We were walking around the streets when I started to get sleepy. I guess Y/N found out because she(sorry if your a guy I'm just use to putting 'she'. Feel free to change)picked me up and brought me to an alleyway. She started to make a makeshift house out of cardboard and newspaper. She then placed me inside our makeshift home and I fell asleep instantly. When I woke up I saw Y/N sleeping next to me. I then heard footsteps behind me. When I turned around I saw 'mother' and 'father'. I quickly woke Y/N up and when she saw them she sprang to her feet and stood protectively infront of me.

I saw 'father' reach out to her and 'mother' slap her across her face. They started to drag her away from me. I couldn't do anything all I could do was scream for her to come back. I tried to call for help but . . . n o b o d y c a m e . . .

Dream ends

I woke up panting. I jumped out of bed and hurried into Y/N's room to find her asleep. I quickly made my way over to her, went under the covers and hugged her. I felt her jump a bit. I looked up at her since she was a little taller than me. She gave me a questioning then a concern look. I buried my face into her neck and sobbed. I felt her hug me back and start rubbing my back. She started shushing me and whispering sweet nothings to me. I eventually calmed down until there was only the sounds of my hiccups and whimpers. I soon fell asleep due to exhaustion. The last thing I heard was Y/N saying "I will never leave you. Not now not ever..."

*Y/N POV*

This was the third time this week that Jason had a nightmare. I knew what it was about because no matter the place and time it always leads to our adopted parents finding us and taking me away. I looked down at him and smiled. Even though he's 21 he still likes to sleep with me and act like a child. He is way to innocent for this world. I started to fall asleep so I hugged him tighter and allowed darkness to swallow me up.

When I woke up I saw that Jason was still asleep. He still had a tight grip on me. I tried to pry him off but he wouldn't. I sighed and chuckled. I then hear my phone go off signaling that I either got a text message or a notification for me to kill someone. I looked at my phone to see that my boss wanted me to kill her ex-boyfriend. Now this I was happy about. You see me and the boss are friends she told me her name but I still call her 'the boss' to show respect. Anyway when me and the boss first became friends she told me that she was dating someone. A year latter on their anniversary she brought him to the headquarters so I could meet him. Turns out that he was a leader of an infamous mafia.

That was her present to him. To show him around the base since he always wished to see it. Now do you want to know what his present was? HIS FUCKING PRESENT WAS A CONFESSION THAT HE HAD BEEN CHEATING ON HER FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS AND THAT HE DIDN'T LOVE HER ANYMORE!! He had the nerve to show up to headquarters and break up with the boss right there in front of everyone.

And boy would I be lying if I said that I didn't try to kill him for making the boss and my friend cry. Everyone in headquarters kicked him out and comforted the boss. That day we never talked about it. We never said his name, we never brought it up, and this mostly goes to all the workers in headquarters we never forgot. We've all been waiting for the day the boss would tell one of us to kill her ex. We didn't know who she would pick so we all had a little meeting and said whoever was sent out to kill him make sure that he begs for mercy. Make sure that he feels the pain that the boss felt on the day he left. And make sure to brutally murder him.

I replied back saying that I accept the mission. I then texted the others that I got the job. They all congratulated me and reminded me on what to do. By the time I was done texting them Jason was already up but he just kept snuggling his face into my neck. I rubbed his back and made him sit up. We went into the kitchen and Jason offered to make breakfast since he didn't have work today. I went and did my daily routine. After that I got dressed into my assassin outfit.

I went back to the kitchen(btw your house is like a cabin but with only one floor)to see Jason made F/B(favorite breakfast). He smiled at me but when he saw my outfit his smile dropped into a frown. "Don't worry I'll come back I swear" I said to reassure him. He nodded but still frowned. Once we finished breakfast I said goodbye to Jason before running to the location the boss said he might be at.

When I arrived at the destination(god I sound like a gps)I saw that he was at a bar. I waited for him to come out so I could quickly get this over with. (you decided to just strike during the daytime.)While I was waiting I made sure that all my weapons were intact.I saw him come out of the bar and saw a lady come out after him. He said something before kissing her. She smiled and went back into the bar. When she left he turned to walk away.

I went into the shadows and followed him. I was about to strike before another lady came up to him. He smiled and gave her a beautiful sapphire necklace. The lady said a few words before kissing him. I scrunched my face in disgust. This man just keeps cheating. I actually feel symphony for all these women. 

 When the lady walked away he started to walk towards the dangerous part of town. I slowly crept behind him and checked if the cost was clear before pouncing on him.I dragged him into a alleyway and pushed him against the wall. I put my dagger up to his neck. He whimpered in pain as I dragged it across neck. I pulled my dagger back but then logged it into his side. He screamed in pain 'this dude is literally a leader? Yesh I feel bad for his workers. He doesn't even put up a fight? Wow' I thought as the pathetic, sick, and twisted man fell to the ground whimpering asking for mercy, I just laughed and said "Well why would i spare you? After all you did break my boss's heart." He stared at me with wide eyes. He was about to say something before i stabbed in the neck. Watching as he slowly drowned in his own blood.
