Background story :

Y/n was born without love instead born because of greed, the greed of a man who wants attention, reputation, and selfishness

Our Mother never wanted us all she wanted was our Father and so she don't recognize us as her son and doesn't accept our existence all she care about was our Father

And our Father was a double-faced man who act as a Hero in public but was actually nothing but a narcissistic, sadistic, Arrogant, and sociopath

Our Father trained us since young in using the power that was inherited from our Father and also some other power which we develop

But his training was super harsh and at times we are at death's door, as our father does not care about what happens to us and instead, he will be happy cause if we died no one will take his place nor endanger his throne

At the age of 13, we decide to run away from home after not being able to handle all the neglect and abuse

On the street, we were caught by the police and brought to an orphanage for street children

But it is not a safe heaven for street children it's nothing but hell were living on the street is a lot better

Workers always order the kids to do their stuff, Torture them, and at night or day some workers would r*ape the children who are around 10-15 years old

Living there every night kids will always try to hide so they not be toyed with all kids would always mutter or pray that Superman would save them with his super strength

Batman with his money and technology

But they never come and no Hero ever come to save them even if they scream the Hero's names

We were once in love with a girl from the orphanage that we become friends with until the time when we tried to save her from being r*pe using our power and we start killing all the workers on the orphanage, but as we did the girl called us a Monster instead of a Hero

Almost all the street people in the orphanage called us a Monster for saving them from a 'Monster'

Even though they were the ones who always wished for the orphanage worker to just die every night

And Superman come, The Hero we always watched on the News a Hero we always admire come

He did not look at us with the kind and gentle look he always gave to people on the TV instead he looks angry and troubled, he started to scold us harshly

But why?
We just wanted to save our friends?
We purely just wanted to save our friend and the other kids unlike our Father but why?
Why is he mad?
Why is he not praising us for our heroic deeds?
Why does he care for the worker who did nothing but evil things every day?
Why is no one defending us? We saved them

We who at the age of 14 were sentenced and sent to Arkham prison to be jailed for two years just because of killing some evil people and because we have a superpower

Every night in the isolation jail room we always think of why!? Why does no one defending us? Why does our Hero hate us instead of praising us?

All we wanted was to become a Hero that is not like our Father... But why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?

Every night we start losing our sanity  and start hearing an annoying whispering voice

Everyday spending time with some of the craziest criminals in Arkham prison

Unable to escape due to our still undeveloped power and the cuffs that are made by Batman to nullify/lock our ability

After two years of mental torture, we were released from Arkham prison

But at that point, we were already mentally broken, have no place to go, have no reason to live, no dream, no money, and no friends

Our parents never once visited us in prison either even when we were put on the front news being the son of the Hero who killed people, but our Father said that we are not his Son and that we are just being a delusional killer, even though he also killed people without remorse yet he was not hated but we were hated

We just broke and went f*ck it all

We are no Hero even if we wanted to be we are not, we are just a Monster, that's right a Monster...

Then what's wrong with being a Monster after all everyone always claims that we are a Monster then why not just become a Monster that everyone always said and fear

After all, now that we have accepted it... You know its kind of felt good being an object of fear, being a boogeyman, and the Monster that everyone would scream and instantly beg to be spared

And that day Brightburn was born to bring fear and to make everyone bow down to us
