Nightwing/Dick POV

Flash and I slowly began to drag the robots to the nearest zeta tubes.  Him fretting over my injuries like a worried mother.  We decided to take the lions first in case the EMP wore off.

"Did you type in the right code?" I questioned Wally when we walked out of the wrong tube.

"I think so," he answered scratching his head.  We re-entered the zeta tube this time I entered the code.  It spat us back out in the same tube.  We exchanged looks.

"Robin said that there was a problem at the Cave, think the zeta tubes are down?" I asked.

"Probably.  I'll run these to the Cave and you go and get the gladiators."

"Right."

We walked into the Cave through the open garage.  I frowned in confusion when I saw that not even the emergency power lights were on.  I figured this was the "little" problem Robin was talking about.  We found the team in the mission room where Wally had put the robots.  

"Robin what happened to the power?" I questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"We don't know.  We were hanging out in Beach City and when we came back the power was out.  But as far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with the generators or the back ups," Robin informed gesturing to Bart, Jaime and Garfield who was rubbing off makeup.  My frown deepend and I rubbed my chin in thought.  I froze when I heard a creaking sound.  We spun around to see the lions getting back up.

"Crap the EMPs wore off," I grumbled.  I jumped to avoid the one of the lions launching at me.  I noticed Jaime's aromour going on out of the corner of my eye while Robin grabbed his bo staff and Garfield turned into a green lion.  Before we could attack though we heard a "take this!" Brittney flipped past us and smashed her heels against the lion's head.  My eyes widened, I made out a flash of silver on her heels before they slammed into it.  Letting out a roar it started to thrash trying to get it off of its head.  She crouched down and grabbed fistfulls of its golden mane and pushed her heels harder into its metalic skull.  Soon it short circuted and fell, its eyes dull.  Britney jumped off revealing two holes where her heels had been.

"Titanium drill heels," she explained answering my unasked question. 

"Britney move!" Clover yelled.  Britney spun around to see another lion barreling towards her.  She quickley dodged and Clover pointed a, nail file at it? I blinked in confusion.  What was she going to do, file its claws?  Clover pushed a button on her nail file and a red laser came out hitting the lion and burning a hole right through it Sam and Alex following suit with the other lions.  I couldn't help but gawk at the girls in stunned surprise, I noticed the others were too.

"That was easy," Alex commented.

"Yeah," Sam agreed "too easy."

"Woah, where did you guys get those and where can I get them?" Garfield asked grinning from ear to ear as he pointed at the nail file in Alex's hands.  I starred at Garfield in disbelief my jaw still to the floor.  What did we get ourselves into?

So sorry that the chapter is so small and that it took so long to come out.  I hope it was at least somewhat worth the long wait.  Anywho I've been considering changing the name of this story to "Totally Asterous" what do you guys think?
