"AHHH!" Everyone screams as you all fall into the water.

You quickly dive out of the water, taking a deep breath as you hold onto one broken piece of dock. You move your wet hair away from your forehead, watching the others swim to the shore. "This is just great.." you mumble to yourself, earning a chuckle from the person beside you, who happened to be Gwen.

You get a bit startled since you haven't noticed her, but give her a small smile.

You swim to the shore, sitting on the sand and helping Gwen get out of the water.

"Okay, guys. Dry off and meet at the campfire pit in 10." Chris announces earning a groan from everyone around you.

"Hey, where are your sunglasses?" Gwen brought up, making your eyes widen and start to look around yourself.

You then noticed the sunglasses floating in the water, before sinking deep into the water.

You groaned and shrugged. "Well, I guess 'no more' sunglasses, luckily I had another pair." You chuckled, before walking off with Gwen to dry off.

"Soo.. what got you into total drama?" Gwen asks while walking beside you, looking at you.

You glance at her before thinking about it. "Well.. I'll use the money for my dream university.. since I want to become a psychologist. And I'd thought I could maybe socialise a little and become friends with people here since.. I'm not a social butterfly." You gave her a smile to which she returned.

"That's nice." Gwen said to which you nodded.

"This, is camp Wawanakwa. Your home, for the next eight weeks. The campers sitting around you will be your cabin mates." You glanced around yourself. You were standing in the middle of Noah and Geoff, and in front of you was sitting Courtney.

"Your competition, and maybe even your friends." Courtney looked at you when she noticed your gaze, and grinned at you.

"You dig?" You returned her smile before looking back at Chris.

"The camper who manages to stay on total drama island the longest, without getting voted off will win $100,000."

"Excuse me." Duncan, whose name you learned from Gwen, voiced out while walking in the front. "What will the sleeping arrangements be? Because I'd like to request a bunk under her." He said as he pointed his thumb towards Heather, making her eyes widen.

'How is he so confident saying that..? I mean, c'mon dude, you're on the NATIONAL TV.' You thought to yourself, furrowing your eyebrow at him.

"They're not co-ed, are they?" Heather asked with a hint of worry in her voice.

"No." Chris shook his head while grinning.

"Girls get one side of each cabin and dudes get the other."

"Excuse me, Kyle?" Lindsay said while raising her hand as if in school.

"Can I have a cabin with a lake view since I'm the prettiest?" She finished with a smile

"Okay.. but that's not really how it works here." Chris said, dissapointing Lindsay.

"And it's Chris." He said with a soft glare.
Haha, Kyle. That's funny. You're definitely calling him that from now on.

"I have to live with Sadie, or I'll die." Katie said, turning her head to Sadie while holding her hand. "And I'll break out in hives. It's true."

Aw. But that's actually kind of cute. Friendship goals for real. "This cannot be happening."

"Aw, come on, guys. It'll be fun." Owen said as he hugged Gwen and Tyler close to him, almost choking them.

"It's like a big sleepover!"

"Atleast you don't have to sleep next to him." Tyler said as he pointed his head in the direction of Duncan.

"Here's the deal." When you heard Chris voice, you snapped out of your daydreaming and started to pay attention again.

"We're gonna split you into two teams. If I call your name out, go stand over there. Gwen. Trent. Heather. Cody. Lindsay. Beth. Katie. Owen. Leshawna. Justin. [Y/n]. Anddd, Noah." You sighed out in relief knowing you'll be in a team with Gwen, Noah, Cody and Beth. These were the only people you knew somehow at this camp so far and they were all in your team!

Lucky you. But you were slightly dissapointed that you weren't in the same team as Courtney or Bridgette. They both seemed nice and pretty..- nice. Yeah. "From this moment on, you are officialy known as... the screaming gophers!" Chris announced as he threw the green poster with a gopher on it to Owen.

"Yeah! I'm a gopher! Woo!" Owen exclaimed excited about finally knowing his team.

"Wait! What about Sadie?" Katie said, nervously.

"The rest of you, over here." Chris started to talk, while you sneaked up to Gwen, placing your hand on her shoulder. "Sooo.. I guess we're on the same teams now, huh? I'm pretty glad." You said startling Gwen a little as her cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "Oh, yeah! I'm- pretty glad too!" She said, nervously before chuckling.

You noticed the nervosity in her tone and placed your hand away from her shoulder, slightly dissapointing Gwen.

"But.. Katie's a gopher! I have to be a gopher!" Sadie said, looking at our team with a frown. "Sadie, is it? Come on. It'll be okay." Courtney said with a smile, holding her shoulder before she started to walk with Sadie away. "This is so unfair! I miss you, Katie!" She exclaimed, making Katie sob. "I miss you, too!" Katie exclaimed while sobbing, making you walk up to her.
"Hey.. Katie.. don't worry! It'll be alright! You'll still be able to hang out with her during free time, you know." You smiled at her as you tried to comfort her. Katie wiped her tears away before turning to you.

"But.. it won't be the same if we're not on the same team!" Katie said making you frown. "Well.. maybe.. Chris will let you or Sadie change teams with someone who is willing to change them." You said to Katie while walking with her closer to your team while she gasped. "Oh my gosh, you're right! Thank you, thank you! Uhm.." She said with a smile and then hugged you, before pausing, not knowing your name.

"It's [Y/n]." You returned the hug.

"You guys, will be officially known as... the killer bass!" Chris announced, throwing a red poster at them.

"Awesome... it's like.. amazing.." Harold said slowly.

"Alright, campers! You and your team will be on camera in all public areas during this competion." Chris said.

"You'll also be able to share your innermost thoughts on tape with videos diaries any time you want. Let the audience at home know what you're really thinking. Or, just get something off your chest." Chris said, already sitting in the confessional.

°• Gwen's confessional •°

"Um, okay." She started while having her arms crossed, tilting her head slightly. "So far this sucks. But atleast I get to be on the same team as [Y/n]. That's a plus." She said, smiling softly at the camera while thinking of her new [h/c]-coloured friend.

°• Lindsay's confessional •°

"I don't get it. Where's the camera guy?" She said with her back turned towards the camera, allowing everyone to see her low behind.

°• ... still a confessional I guess •°

It showed a black seagull painting their lips with a bright pink lipstick, before getting surprised once it noticed the camera.

°• Owen's confessional •°

"Hey, everyone, check this out. I have something very important to say.* Owen says, staring at the camera with a dead serious expression, before letting out a fart and then snickering at his own joke and farting again.

°• [Y/n]'s confessional •°

"Uhm.." you started while sitting at the toilet seat in the confessional, staring at the camera nervously. "This.. isn't exactly how I imagined it to be like.. but.. i'm not complaining, I guess." You shrugged before your expression turned to a more excited one.

"Plus, the chicks and dudes here are like, so cute!" You said excitedly with a pink blush on your cheeks, leaning slightly closer to the camera, while thinking of someone 'specific'.

•° Confessionals end •°

"Alright, any questions?" Chris said with his hands on his hip, gazing over the contestants to see if someone has their hand raised. Once he noticed no one has, he continued. "Cool. Let's find your cabins." Chris said, before he lead you to your cabins, where you'll be staying at for eight weeks. Your home for eight weeks. Yes. Right.

[A/n] : WOWWW no way I updated once again!! I wanted to update yesterday but I had my tablet taken away so I couldn't watch the show on my tablet while writing the story on my phone, knowing exactly what happens and describing it 💔

Anywooo, the love interests will be basically every contestant, everyone will show their romantic interest in you somehow, but some may have a bigger interest and some may have a small one.

And obviously, I have favourites... ( cough cough, Noah, Cody, Bridgette, Gwen, Courtney, D.J.,Alejandro.. wdym Alejandro isn't in first season? Ofc he is./j ) and while some just seem interesting to write as your love interests.

Andd also, someone 'specific' is for you to decide jjsjs it can be your fav character, or just someone you'd like your oc or self insert to have a crush on, i'm leaving it on you!

Anyway hopefully you enjoyed the chapter and I'll try to update as much frequently as I can! <3 but sadly high school starts for me in 3 days and I'm scared 💔 so I might update the first week of my school sometimes, but then update rarely when we'll actually start to learn since I picked out a hard high school ( ofc... )

Anywoo, for people who came from my helluva boss book, I'll also update there but I'm still waiting for my 200 votes on my chapter 11 🫶🏻🫶🏻🤗 ( it'll be a long time since I'll have em. Also just an excuse so that I can focus on this book fjsj )
