I woke up the next morning very exited to start our New York challenge. I rolled out of bed and got ready for the day.

I walked into first class to let my team know we would start our challenge as soon as dad was ready.

The first part of our challange started out at the statue of liberty. "Each member of all teams has to climb up to lady liberty's crown and grab the baby carriages and race to Central Park." Dad explained.

Sierra was being a suck up to dad again and she said that she totally appreciated him.

"Thanks Sierra it's nice to be appreciated" dad said.

Okay that hurts a lot, dad knows how much I appreciate him, after everything he's done for me. I bit my lip and tried my best to hold back the tears that started forming in my eyes. I told my team that we could take a short cut and led them to the elevator. Heather was the one to grab the carriage. While we waited for the other teams to get up Sierra kept bugging dad by talking about his past fame life. I still don't understand why dad thinks that Sierra is the only one who appreciates him. Once everyone else got to the top and had their carriages Dad said that we had to get into the team color boats to get to Central Park. Even though my team was first to get to the boats we had to turn around because we lost Cody due to Courtney's carelessness.

When we reached the park the next part of our challenge was to bob for giant apples in the pond using the carriages from the first part to get to the pond.Then after getting the apples one member of each team had to choose a team member to be the baby that rides in the carriage. The teams must then race the carriages to the heart of Central Park. The music bell went off and we sang as we travelled through the city.

When we reached the pond  Sierra went in for our team. We selected Cody to be the baby and handed him the apple.  We realized  that team dad is super hot was in front of us and that we were in last place so Heather was sneaky and switched the carriage with Noah in it for a different carriage. I did feel kinda bad for the other team but in the end It scored us the win. Team dad did lose but because it was a reward challenge no one was voted off.

I was still upset about what dad said so I asked if he could have everyone meet in first class.

"What's going on?" Gwen asked.

"Remember that song I told you about" I said I'm going to play it for my dad."

"Dad this is a song I wrote for you" I said and began.

"That was beautiful Clair, thank you" dad said

"I just wanted to let you know how special you are to me. You had to take care of the by yourself since I was eight, and I wanted to let you know that I appreciate you."

"Oh Clair I'm sorry that's not what I meant."
I smiled big and gave dad a big hug.

Dad and I walked back to our suite. I got into my pajamas and dad tucked me into bed the way he used to.

"Good night daddy"

"Good night Clair"

"I love you daddy"

"I love you too."
