Episode 21

"Last time on Total Drama Minecraft Returns, the mobs watched recordings from their loved ones. They also went skydiving through rings, and the contestant that got the least points would be eliminated. Jamey tried to push Jesse through a red ring, which would subtract all his points, but Jesse managed to avoid her. But, Jamey's ally Pola came in from behind and knocked Jesse through a red ring, causing the zombie horse to be eliminated. What will happen today? Find out right now, on Total Drama Minecraft Returns!" Herobrine said.

***

Remaining Contestants (6): Ech, Pola, Kain, Chloe, Colton, Jamey

***

Herobrine yawned and scratched his butt as he walked out of his mansion.

"What challenge should I do today?" he muttered to himself.

Suddenly, the ground below him began to rumble. Herobrine looked down at it in confusion. A few pebbles at his feet were trembling, but that was it.

Then, everything stopped.

"Huh. I'm gonna pretend that didn't happen," the host said. "It'll probably come back to bite me in the butt later, but whatever."

He disappeared.

***

The guys' cabin was surprisingly silent. Kain wasn't wailing anymore; just staring at the wall across from him, unmoving. Colton and Ech were also silent. After awhile, Kain broke the silence.

"Why am I so obsessed with Chloe?"

Colton and Ech looked at him, unsure how to respond. But the wolf continued.

"For half of this season, I barely even noticed her existence. But then when she rejects me, it's like my whole life was taken away."

"Well—" Colton started to say, but Kain interrupted him.

"But I've been acting like an idiot. She wants her space, so I should give it to her."

Colton and Ech looked at each other, confused.

"Uh, yeah," Colton replied. "That's good."

"I want to apologize to her first, though," Kain said. "For the way I acted this whole season and especially for the way I acted the past few challenges."

"Good idea," Colton replied. "Want some advice?"

Kain looked at him. "Sure."

"Try not to sound pitiful. No offense."

"None taken," Kain replied. "I know I was pretty pathetic the past few challenges."

"I agree," Ech spoke up.

"Also, thanks again for saving me from elimination," Kain said to Colton. "And I'm sorry for trying to get you eliminated."

"It's fine," the mule replied. "We're cool."

"Cool."

Colton's Confessional

"That was very mature of Kain. I wonder what made him decide to move on."

~~~
Kain's Confessional
"I'm not sure what I'm gonna say to Chloe yet. All I know is that it has to be a genuine apology. No 'please date me again' crap involved."
~~~

Ech's Confessional

"Ya know, when I joined this competition again, I didn't think I'd even have a chance at winning. But now it's the final six, and I realized: I can actually win this."

~~~
The girls' cabin was also silent. Jamey was brooding, Pola was contemplating, and Chloe was thinking. Yes, those are all synonyms.
"So, Chloe, have you decided if you want to join our alliance or not?" Pola asked.
Chloe looked her in the eyes. "I have decided. I'm not going to join you two."
"But we can eliminate Kain for you now that Jesse is gone!" Pola exclaimed. Jamey scoffed.
"I don't need that," Chloe replied simply. She stood up and left the cabin.
"Well, since she's not going to join us, I think we should eliminate her," Pola said.
"Nope," Jamey replied. "The mule is next. He and my brother were allies."
"Um, you told me that if I joined your alliance, we could eliminate who I want to eliminate after Jesse is gone," Pola said.
"Things change," Jamey shrugged. "Colton goes next."
"Chloe is clearly a bigger threat," Pola said. "She's gaining more and more confidence every day. Colton is just a clumsy mule."
"This is not up for debate, polar bear," Jamey said.
Pola narrowed her eyes.
~~~

Chloe's Confessional

"I'm doing just fine on my own. I don't need Kain; I don't need Jamey or Pola; I don't need anyone. I'm a new me. Facing my fears."

~~~
Pola's Confessional
"I'm starting to think Jamey is only using me for an extra vote."
~~~

Jamey's Confessional

"Colton is clearly out to get me. I need to eliminate him, not that puny cat girl."

~~~
"Challenge time!" Herobrine announced. He snapped his fingers, and the remaining six contestants were teleported to the top of a very tall skyscraper.
"Uh, are we still on the island? Where did this building come from?" Pola asked.
"You are on the island, yes," Herobrine replied. "I just created this city on it for the challenge!"
The mobs looked around. They were indeed in a small city, with buildings of various shapes and sizes all around. They were also right next to the beach, which had a bridge similar to the Golden Gate Bridge leading into the ocean. It didn't look like it went anywhere.
"What's the challenge?" Colton asked.
"I'm glad you asked!" Herobrine said. "Even though I was about to tell you anyway. In today's challenge, you will each receive a randomly selected super power. Then, you will all fight to the death. The winner will get the choice of who is eliminated next."
The mobs gasped. "Why are we in a city, then?" Jamey asked.
Herobrine shrugged. "All the best superhero movies have action scenes in a city. Anyway, let's get your superpowers!" He pointed at Colton.
The mule looked down at himself. "I don't feel any different." He took a step forward, but accidentally took ten at a very high speed. He almost ran off the edge of the building.
"Super speed. Nice," Herobrine said. "Next!" He pointed at Pola.
The polar bear took a few steps, but nothing changed. She scrunched up her mouth and tried jumping upwards. There was no change there either.
"Oh come on, you didn't give me anything!" Pola whined, pointing at Herobrine accusingly.
A powerful stream of water shot out of her hand and hit Herobrine in the face, sending him spiraling head-over-heels through the air.
"Looks like you can summon and control water," Herobrine said as he flipped himself right side up. He tilted his head and hit it with his hand. Water came out of his ear.
"Does he have ears?" Colton whispered.
"Next!" Herobrine said. He pointed at Ech.
"Wow, you remembered me?" the bat muttered. He looked around, then raised his wing in the air.
A lightning bolt came down and struck him, but he wasn't affected. In fact, he began glowing with electricity.
"Cool, electrical powers," Herobrine said. "Next!" He pointed at Chloe.
The ocelot suddenly began to float off the ground. She yelped. "Gah! I can fly?!"
"No, that would be too OP," Herobrine replied. "Here, concentrate on this boulder." He snapped, and a boulder appeared on the roof of the building.
Chloe focused on the boulder. She lowered to the ground, but the rock began to rise off the ground. Chloe lifted her paw, and the boulder shot upward.
"Telekinesis. The ability to move things with your mind," Herobrine said. "Next!" He pointed at Kain.
A small flame appeared on the wolf's head. He barked in surprise, but it wasn't hurting him. As Kain realized this, he pointed his paw outward. Fire shot out of it.
"You can control and summon fire," Herobrine stated. "Last but definitely least!" He pointed at Jamey.
"Hey!" the skeleton horse exclaimed. "I am not the least!" She stomped on the roof of the building angrily, and cracked the entire roof. She looked down in awe.
"Super strength. Of course she gets that," Herobrine muttered. "Alright, whoever is the last one standing wins! I'm going to teleport you all to different locations of the city."
"Why can't we just stay h—"
"Ready, set, go!" Herobrine announced, and he snapped his fingers. The six mobs disappeared.
~~~

Jamey's Confessional

"I need to win this challenge so I can eliminate Colton."

~~~
Chloe looked around. She had been teleported onto one of the streets. There were some parked cars around, but no moving ones. In fact, the entire city seemed deserted of life. That was probably a good thing.
The ocelot decided to try out her powers. She focused on a car in front of her and slowly moved her gaze upwards. The car hovered upwards with it.
Chloe grinned, and the car dropped to the ground, making a loud crashing noise. She winced.
Suddenly, a lightning bolt hit the ground right next to her. The ocelot screamed and jumped away from it, looking around.
"Sorry," Ech said as he flew towards her. "It's nothing personal." He seemed to be charging up a ball of electricity in his wings.
Chloe panicked and tried concentrating on a nearby car. It hovered off the ground a few blocks, but before she could throw it at the bat, Ech fired the electricity ball. Chloe wasn't quick enough to dodge it, and she was sent flying into the wall of a building behind her.
The ocelot groaned as Ech flew closer, charging up another electricity ball. Chloe felt like giving up. Everything hurt, and her body was still buzzing from the electricity. She could barely move.
No one is going to save you, a voice in her head rang out. You have to do it yourself.
This thought gave Chloe renewed strength. Just as Ech fired his electricity ball, Chloe used her telekinesis to fling a car in front of her, taking the hit. She then thrusted her paw, and the car went flying at Ech.
The bat's eyes widened as the car flew towards him. "Ah sh—"
Chloe winced as the car and Ech crashed into a billboard that said "Come visit Bladville!". That had to hurt.
"Sorry!" she called as she ran away. "Nothing personal!"
***
Kain looked around. He had been teleported inside a fancy-looking building with interior glass walls separating the rooms and intricate chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.
"I think I know what to say to Chloe," he mumbled to himself. "I need to find her and apologize before I forget everything."
He began to walk towards the door. Just as he was about to open it, something burst in at an incredibly high speed, throwing Kain through several glass walls. He groaned in pain.
"Sorry, sorry!" the wolf heard someone saying frantically. His vision was blurry, so he couldn't see who it was. "Herobrine gave the clumsiest contestant super speed! Terrible idea!"
As Kain slowly got to his feet, Colton came into his view. He was sitting down like a dog for some reason.
"Are you okay?" Colton asked.
Kain shook the blurriness out of his vision. "Yeah. What are you apologizing for? Killing each other is the challenge."
"I'm a pacifist," Colton shrugged. "Except when it comes to Jamey."
"Why are you sitting like that?" Kain asked.
"I can't control my speed when I'm standing," Colton replied. "Notch, I hate this challenge."
Kain stepped out of the pile of broken glass. "I've figured out what I'm gonna say in my apology to Chloe."
"Oh, really! Cool," Colton said. "You gonna tell her after the challenge?"
"No, I'm gonna tell her now," Kain replied, walking towards the gaping hole that used to be the door.
"Uh, I don't think that's a good idea," Colton replied. "She'll probably want to focus on the challenge."
"If I don't tell her now, I'll forget everything," Kain said. He took another step towards the hole in the wall.
Suddenly, he heard a rush of movement, and Colton was standing in front of him.
"Dude, I'm not gonna let you do that. I'm her friend, and I'm pretty sure she won't want any distractions during the challenge."
"You don't know that," Kain replied. He tried to step around Colton.
The mule moved to stand in his way, but went too fast and crashed through a glass wall. He stumbled back in front of Kain. "Just wait till after the challenge, man."
"No." Again, Kain tried to step around the mule. This time, Colton rushed forward, hitting Kain and sending him flying to the other side of the room.
The wolf groaned again. He could feel his health dwindling already.
Colton was stumbling around nearby. It didn't seem like he was in control of himself. Kain saw his chance, and he took it. The wolf raced for the outside.
The mule noticed him and charged. Instinctively, Kain put out a paw, and a fireball nearly scorched Colton's face off. The mule skidded into a glass wall, shattering it.
Kain kept running for the doorway. He was almost there, but Colton came out of nowhere and rammed into him again. Kain hit the wall near the door.
The wolf stood up. "I didn't want to do this, but you forced me." He pointed both paws at Colton, and fire shot out of them like flamethrowers.
Colton sprinted out of the way, into the center of the room. Kain turned off his flamethrowers, and was about to leave when Colton rushed at him again. This time, the mule was able to stop himself in front of Kain and throw a punch. Kain ducked and struck Colton, shooting out some fire as well. The mule yelped in pain and ran to his right, then back and kicked Kain away from him.
The wolf shot a fireball above him. Colton prepared to run, but stopped when he realized the fireball wasn't even coming near him.
"You really need to work on your aim," Colton said.
Then, a chandelier fell on his head. Colton collapsed underneath of it.
"I wasn't aiming for you," Kain replied. He ran out of the building.
***
Jamey looked around and realized she had been teleported to the roof of a small building. To one side was the beach and ocean, to the other side was the rest of the city. Looking over the edge, she saw that the street was only about ten blocks down. She was about to jump down when she heard a noise behind her.
The skeleton horse turned around. Pola had used a stream of water to propel herself up to the roof with her.
"Good, you're here," Jamey said. "We need to find Colton and destroy him so he doesn't win."
"No," Pola replied firmly.
"Excuse me?" Jamey asked, taken aback.
"When I joined your alliance, you told me that after your brother was gone, we would eliminate who I want. And I want to eliminate Chloe," Pola explained.
Jamey laughed. "I never intended to let you decide who we eliminate. I've just been using you for an extra vote!"
Pola looked surprised, and even a little sad. "I trusted you..."
Jamey shrugged. "There's your first mistake."
With a roar of anger, Pola shot out her paw, and a stream of water flew out. Jamey didn't have enough time to react, and it hit her square in the face. She flew off the building and landed on top of a car.
Jamey groaned in pain and slowly began to get up.
"Ya know," Pola said from the building above. "People have been saying I'm evil. But I'm nowhere near as wicked as you!"
The polar bear leapt off the building, a huge ball of water floating over her head. She aimed to land on Jamey.
Jamey was standing up now. As Pola came closer, the skeleton horse thrust out a hoof.
She punched Pola in the stomach and sent her flying all the way down the beach and into the ocean.
But the ball of water exploded when Jamey punched her, and the current whisked her off the top of the car and onto the street below.
***
Chloe didn't see anyone as she walked through the city. She didn't think it was that big, yet she still felt completely alone.
The ocelot decided to see where the bridge that led into the ocean went. She ran over to it and began to stroll down the road on it. There were some stationary cars in the lane, but still no one around.
She walked all the way to the end of the bridge, which ended with a jagged break, like something had ripped the bridge in half. Chloe wondered if Herobrine really created the city, or if he just stole it from somewhere else in the world.
Chloe turned around to go back to the city, since there wasn't anything at the end of the bridge. What she saw made her stop in her tracks.
Kain stood about ten blocks away from her, no emotion on his face. He still had a small flame on his head.
Chloe began to focus on a car to throw at him.
"Wait."
She stopped making the car float, conflicted.
"I just want to talk to you," Kain said slowly.
Chloe shook her head. "I don't want to talk." She picked up the car with her mind and tossed it at him.
Kain dove out of the way. "Please!" he said as he got to his feet. "I need to apologize!"
Chloe dropped the second car she was concentrating on. "You...don't need to apologize for anything."
Kain walked closer to her warily. "I know. But I want to."
Chloe was hesitant. She didn't want to talk to Kain at all, but she was curious about his apology.
Kain was now only a couple blocks away from Chloe. She realized that he was shaking, like he was extremely nervous. Chloe had never seen him do that before.
The wolf took a deep breath. "I just want to say I'm sorry about everything. I don't know what I was thinking. I should have given you attention instead of just ignoring you all the time."
Chloe shut her eyes. "Never mind, I don't want to hear it. Please go away." She flicked her hand at a car.
The car skidded across the ground towards Kain. If it hit him, it would knock him off the bridge.
"Wait!" he exclaimed, and shot a fireball at the car to stop it from hitting him.
This caused the car to explode, sending both Kain and Chloe flying.
Chloe hit her head on a bridge support pole and blacked out.
***
Colton used his super speed to burst out of the ruins of the chandelier. He ran outside the building, but didn't see Kain anywhere.
"Dang, I lost him," the mule muttered to himself.
Suddenly, Colton sensed something above him. He rushed to the side right before Jamey landed where he had been standing, her fist in the ground. She cracked the pavement.
"Come here!" she yelled, leaping at him. Colton ran out of the way again. Jamey smashed into a car, sending it flying into the side of a building. She growled and turned to Colton again.
The mule charged at her with super speed, and shoved her as hard as he could. She wasn't fast enough to counter, and was sent flying into the car she had thrown.
Colton smiled. It felt good to hurt her. His smile immediately faded into a frown as Jamey picked up the car and chucked it at him.
He tried to sprint out of the way, but wasn't quick enough, even with his super speed. The car clipped his backside as he was running, sending him sprawling to the ground.
"You are almost as much of a disgrace as my brother," Jamey said as she came over to him. She raised her hoof, ready to punch his face into the ground.
Colton shook off the pain and used his super speed to crawl to his feet and run away from Jamey's punch. She yelled and ran after him.
~~~

Colton's Confessional

"I have to kill her so she doesn't win and choose to eliminate me. But how? She has super strength, and I only have super speed..."

~~~
Kain was sent flying into a parked car because of the car that he blew up. He slowly got to his feet. "I should have thought that through..." he muttered.
He saw Chloe lying in the middle of the bridge. She wasn't moving.
"Chloe!" he exclaimed. He ran over to her. "Oh, please don't be dead!" He felt for her pulse. It was faint, but still there.
Kain breathed a sigh of relief. "I'm sorry," he whispered. "I just keep messing up..."
Suddenly, he heard a loud rushing noise coming from below. Kain looked up from Chloe.
A giant wave was forming in the ocean next to the bridge. Atop that wave was Pola.
"Where is Jamey?!" she yelled. She sounded angry.
Kain shrugged.
"Wait, is that Chloe?" she asked. "It is! Might as well get rid of her while I'm here."
The wave began to coast towards the bridge. Kain yelped. Chloe was still unconscious, and a tsunami was about to hit them.
He could run away. But he wasn't leaving Chloe to die.
The only thing nearby was a piece of the hood of the destroyed car. Kain grabbed it and held it over himself and Chloe.
The wave came crashing down. Kain was barely able to keep the piece of car up. Water rushed around them from everywhere at once. Kain gritted his teeth as he pushed with all his might against the water.
Finally, it stopped. Kain threw the piece of car away and turned to see Pola standing on the bridge between them and the city now.
"You know she hates you, right?" Pola asked. "Why do you keep throwing yourself at her?"
"Shut up," Kain growled. He thrust his paws at her, and fire shot out like flamethrowers. Pola thrust out her hands, and a stream of water came out in the same fashion.
The fire and water collided in midair in an epic spectacle of elements.
***
Colton was running from Jamey, but he kept circling around and punching her as he ran really fast. She was too slow to hit him as he kept running past her.
"This is fun!" he grinned as he punched her and ran away again. He could hear her yelling angrily.
Colton circled around to punch her again. But this time, Jamey was ready. She grabbed him by the throat as he ran towards her and lifted him into the air.
"You're nothing but an insect," she growled. Colton could feel his throat being crushed by her super strength. He couldn't breathe. His legs were dangling in the air.
That gave him an idea. He swung his legs and kicked Jamey in the face repeatedly at a very high speed. She dropped him.
Colton gasped in breaths. Jamey was standing up, so he ran away, knowing she'd chase him.
He saw the beach up ahead. That gave him an idea.
***
Chloe slowly regained her senses. She knew that her entire body hurt, she was lying on the ground, and it was Kain's fault.
Why can't he just leave me alone? she thought to herself as she took in her surroundings.
She saw Kain and Pola fighting nearby. Pola was clearly winning, since her powers were water and Kain's were fire. But that didn't matter to Chloe. She didn't care if he died.
"Stop protecting her!" Pola was shouting. "I'm trying to kill her!"
"Never!" Kain yelled back.
Chloe was surprised. Kain was protecting her from Pola?
"She doesn't even like you!" Pola yelled as she fired another stream of water at Kain.
"I don't care!" Kain shouted back. Fire billowed out of his paws, but Pola just put it out with her water.
Chloe wondered why Pola was targeting her. Was it because she wouldn't join her alliance?
Kain was hit with a stream of water, and he skidded backwards. He yelled and shot fire at Pola, but the polar bear easily dodged it.
Neither of them noticed that Chloe was awake. Chloe had an idea.
Pola shot another water stream at Kain, moving back a little. Chloe used this as her chance.
Using her telekinesis, she flicked a car near Pola into her. The force of the car knocked Pola into the water below.
Kain looked back at Chloe. He seemed surprised to see her awake.
"Thank you," he said. "I—"
A giant wave rose up next to the bridge. Pola was at the top of it, riding the wave.
"Now you die!" she yelled.
Suddenly, a loud boom was heard, and a bolt of lightning struck the wave. Chloe could see the electricity traveling through the water. It electrocuted Pola, and she immediately disappeared into smoke.
Kain and Chloe looked at each other, confused.
"You're welcome," a voice was heard.
Ech flew down from above.
***
Colton was now running along the beach. Jamey ran onto it, chasing after him. Colton turned around and ran towards her.
Jamey grinned, clearly ready to grab him by the throat again. But, Colton dodged and began to sprint circles around her, kicking up sand.
"Argh!" Jamey yelled, clearly irritated by the sand.
Colton continued to sprint circles around her. He didn't see Jamey winding up her fist.
"How do you like that?!" the mule shouted.
Then, he was punched in the face. The blow was so hard that he went flying towards the nearby bridge and bent a metal support pole by hitting it.
Colton disappeared into smoke.
***
"Thanks, Ech," Kain said.
"Don't thank me," the bat replied. "I'm gonna kill you, too."
"What? Why?" Kain asked.
"Uh, it's the challenge," Ech answered. He pointed his wing at Kain, and a lightning bolt struck right next to him. The wolf yelped and jumped away.
Chloe tried using her telekinesis on Ech, but she couldn't focus enough on him. She looked around for things to throw at him.
Kain created a fireball above his head and tossed it at Ech. He easily flew out of its path and sent another lightning bolt at Kain. The wolf barely dove out of the way in time.
Chloe had an idea. "Kain," she said. "I'm gonna throw a car at him. At the same time, throw a fireball at the car. That way it'll blow up on him."
Kain nodded, then jumped out of the way again as Ech summoned another lightning bolt.
Chloe picked up a car with her telekinesis, made sure Kain was ready, then threw it at Ech.
Kain threw a fireball at the same time. Ech only saw the car coming, and flew out of its path. But the fireball still collided with the car, and it created a huge explosion in the air. Ech was sent hurtling into the water.
Chloe looked over the edge of the bridge to see if Ech was alive or not. She couldn't see him. She turned around and saw Kain smiling at her.
"We worked together," he said.
"Only because it was more convenient," Chloe stated.
"Can I give you my apology now?" Kain asked.
Chloe sighed. "Fine."
"Okay. So, I know I was an idiot all season. And I—"
He was cut off as something literally broke through the bridge below him and flew into the sky with him. Chloe saw it was a ball of electricity, and it was holding Kain and Ech inside.
Dark clouds formed around the ball. Then, a dozen lightning bolts struck Kain while he was still in the sky. Chloe could hear him screaming.
The force of all the electricity sent Kain flying back into the city at a very high speed. Chloe knew that when he hit the ground, he would be dead.
Ech flew back down to Chloe. He seemed unstable.
"Wow, that took a lot of energy," he said.
Chloe used her telekinesis to throw another car at him. Ech didn't even try to dodge it. It hit him, and Chloe saw him disappear into smoke.
***
Jamey stumbled back onto the street, muttering to herself and shaking all the sand off of her. She had successfully killed Colton, which was good, but not before he had kicked up a ton of sand in her face.
Her vision finally cleared. She wondered who else was still alive. Obviously there was at least one person, or Herobrine would have said she won. But Jamey knew she could beat anyone else she was put up against.
As soon as she thought that, a car fell right in front of her from the sky. Jamey jumped back in surprise, then turned around.
Chloe was standing there. "It's just you and me left, Jamey."
Jamey scoffed. "You're the last person I have to kill? Easy."
"We'll see about that," Chloe replied. She waved her paws.
Another car came screaming towards Jamey. She thrust out her hoof and punched it back at Chloe.
The ocelot dove out of the way. She looked surprised by Jamey's strength.
The skeleton horse charged at Chloe. She panicked and waved her paw again. Another car hurtled across the ground towards Jamey, but she merely jumped over it.
Jamey sailed through the air towards Chloe, ready to smash her into the ground. But Chloe was able to roll out of the way. She ran into the city without looking back.
"Come back here, coward!" Jamey shouted. She ran after her.
They took a few twists and turns in the city. Jamey had no idea where Chloe was going. All she cared about was killing her.
The ocelot eventually stopped. She turned, and Jamey charged at her. Chloe didn't move.
Just before the skeleton horse reached her, an entire semi truck hit Jamey from the side. Jamey flew into the side of a building, pain wracking her body.
She stood up and saw Chloe running towards her. Ignoring the pain, Jamey leapt at Chloe and punched her.
Chloe flew backwards and landed on top of a car. Jamey leapt into the air and smashed the car's end.
This flipped the car, and it sent Chloe flying high into the air. Jamey looked up, and saw Chloe land herself on the roof of the building. She realized that was the tallest building in the city, the one they had started on. Chloe stayed on the roof.
"Of course," Jamey grumbled.
***
Chloe used her telekinesis to float herself onto the top of the building. She needed to catch her breath. She thought throwing that semi truck at Jamey would kill her, but she was tougher than Chloe thought.
She looked over the edge of the building. The ground was at least a hundred blocks down. A fall from this height would definitely kill. Chloe's eyes widened as she remembered her fear of heights.
But then she remembered that she wasn't afraid of anything anymore. If she could sky dive, she could do anything.
Chloe heard a roar. She looked down.
Jamey was literally climbing up the wall of the building by punching into the wall and leaping upwards repeatedly.
Chloe prepared herself. It was time for the final battle. She really wanted to win. She had never individually won a challenge before, and it would be a great accomplishment if she did.
She also didn't want to die.
Jamey leapt up to the roof. She looked very angry.
With a start, Chloe realized there were no cars around to throw at Jamey. In fact, there was virtually nothing she could focus on to hit Jamey with.
But she couldn't get off the roof without dying now.
Unless...
"I don't even need super strength to beat you, cat," the skeleton horse laughed. "You're puny!"
Jamey charged at Chloe. Chloe turned around and jumped off the building.
As she hurtled towards the ground, Chloe closed her eyes, and focused on herself.
She felt a change in direction. Chloe opened her eyes, and realized she was floating.
The ocelot grinned. She flew back up to the roof and hovered off to the side. Jamey looked at her, eyes wide.
"I may be small, but I'm stronger than you," Chloe said. She was about to fly forward and knock Jamey off the building, but something else beat her to it.
A ball of fire shot towards Jamey quickly and collided with her, knocking both of them off the roof. Chloe saw Kain inside of the fireball.
The ocelot watched as Kain and Jamey hit the ground and disappeared in a ball of smoke.
"Chloe wins the challenge and the choice of who goes home!" Herobrine's voice rang out.
Chloe looked down, and realized she was falling. Her telekinesis was gone.
The ocelot hit the ground and died.
Kain's Confessional
Jamey's Confessional
"Notch dang it! I didn't win. Well, at least the mule didn't either. I just have to pray the cat isn't smart enough to eliminate me."
Chloe's Confessional
Kain stood near the two cabins, taking deep breaths. It was time for his true apology. He didn't forget everything like he thought he would, so he was ready.
He saw Chloe coming back from the outhouse. He stayed where he was, a sheepish smile on his face. He was sweating a lot, and could feel his legs shaking from nerve.
The ocelot stopped when she saw Kain. The sun was setting behind her. Kain couldn't help but notice how cute she was in the lighting. But that wasn't what he was here for.
"Hey," Kain said. His voice cracked.
"Hey," she replied simply.
"Can I, uh, say my apology now? I promise I'll be quick," he said.
Chloe sighed. "Sure."
"Okay. Here goes." Kain took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. For everything. I was an idiot all season, especially these last few challenges. I don't know what I was thinking when I ignored you. I took you for granted, always expecting you to idolize me, and didn't give you anything in return. I said I loved you, but the universe was right. I didn't. I just...liked the attention you gave me. And I'm sorry for that. I'm gonna leave you alone the rest of the season. You want space, so I'll give it to you."
Kain had been avoiding eye contact during his apology, but he finally looked at Chloe. She was staring at him, no emotion on her face.
"I forgive you."
Without another word, the ocelot walked away.
Kain's Confessional
"I apologized, she forgave me, and everything should be fine. So why do I still feel so...empty inside?"
The six remaining mobs sat on logs around the blazing campfire. Herobrine appeared, a tray of brown mushrooms in hand.
"Chloe won immunity, and gets the choice of who goes home," he said, tossing her a mushroom. "Please come up here and decide who you want to eliminate."
The ocelot slowly walked over to Herobrine and faced the other mobs. It didn't look like she even knew who she would choose.
"If I call your name, you are safe..." Chloe said.
There was a pause as she looked between each of the five mobs in front of her.
"Colton."
Herobrine tossed the mule a mushroom. Colton smiled at Chloe.
Chloe hesitated again. It seemed like a very tough decision for her.
"Pola."
Herobrine tossed the polar bear a mushroom. Pola sighed in relief.
Ech's eyes widened. Was she going to choose him? He didn't think he'd ever even be considered for elimination.
Kain wasn't sure if he should be worried or not. On the one hand, he had genuinely apologized to her, so he didn't think he'd be chosen. On the other hand, he could never really predict what she would do.
Jamey was smirking, but inside, she was nervous. She was clearly the biggest threat remaining. And she had insulted the cat multiple times during the challenge. She knew this was probably her end.
"Ech."
Herobrine tossed the bat a mushroom. Ech didn't show any emotion, but he was relieved.
Chloe looked back and forth between Kain and Jamey. She didn't know who to choose.
"It's down to Jamey and Kain," Herobrine said. "The last safe mob is..."
"Jamey," Chloe said, looking at the ground.
Herobrine tossed the skeleton horse a mushroom. "Kain, you're going home."
Everyone was silent with shock, including Kain. He looked at Chloe, but she wouldn't make eye contact.
Herobrine and Kain disappeared.
The wolf reappeared in the Catapult of Shame. Herobrine teleported next to him.
"Well, that was a surprise to everyone, I see. Must hurt, getting eliminated by your crush, huh?" Herobrine asked.
Kain shrugged. "I respect her decision. She wants space from me, and this is how she'll get it. I won't be here to distract her anymore. She deserves this. I hope she wins the show."
There was silence.
Kain turned to look at Herobrine. He was asleep and snoring.
"Uh, Herobrine?" Kain asked.
"Huh?" Herobrine jolted awake. "Sorry, that speech was really boring. Bye."
He pulled the lever, and Kain was flung into the night.
~~~

Colton's Confessional

"She had the chance to eliminate the biggest threat on the island: Jamey. And she didn't."

~~~
Jamey's Confessional
"Ha! I knew that cat was an idiot! Now I'm one step closer to winning this show."
~~~

Chloe's Confessional

"...why did I do that?"

~~~
"What more do I have in store for the mobs? Will Pola rise up against Jamey? Will Ech be noticed enough to be eliminated? And will Chloe be able to win with Kain gone? Find out next time, on Total Drama Minecraft Returns!" Herobrine said.
Ooh, shocker.
Since I love superhero movies, I figured writing a challenge where the contestants had superpowers would be fun. But it was kinda boring to write tbh.
Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Will I get the next episode up before school starts at the beginning of September? Let's find out.
I know I've casually mentioned the Radish Contests before, but this time, the prompt that's out right now is related to this series! Write a short story about any of the contestants deciding to join the show, and have a chance at winning the fifth Radish Contest! Check out "Prompt 5" of my book "Radish Contests" for more details. Only about three weeks remain at the time of me publishing this!
Thanks for reading, and don't forget to vote, comment, and follow!
