Chapter 3

Jason's POV

I felt a small shock being sent through my chest and looked at the others: Reyna, Leo, Piper, Hazel, Frank, and Nico all nodded having felt it too. We all flashed to the bridge to Olympus to talk about what we think his one was about, and whatever other random things that came up.

"It is SOOO much easier to flash up here than threaten the elevator man every time we ask for the key he says doesn't exist," Leo said and we all hummed in agreement, "So what do you think this meeting is about this time, Percy?" We all stiffened when he said the name of the person we betrayed and let die.

"Leo! You know to never say his name unless we're in a meeting" Hazel scolded and I nodded in agreement looking at him harshly along with the others. I still remembered the whip in my hand and the good feeling that I felt as I let it tear into my ex-friends back. Sometime later we all realized what we had done and there was a memorial in remembrance of the World's Greatest Hero.

"What!? It's true and we need to face it," Leo stepped in-front of us all spreading his arms openly to stop us, "look we all know what we did, actually I wasn't here at the time having been killed by Octavian and all, but we shouldn't have any fear in saying Percy's name. We was and always will be a hero we all look up to, and even though he was betrayed by all of us it still doesn't mean we should fear his name." He said and we all were quiet. I stepped forward with Leo.

"Yes, he's right guys we need to honor Percy and try to honor his memory. This is not what Annabeth would have wanted us to do and yes if she was alive she would've told us the flaws of our ways and she would've stuck up for Percy like we should've," I said and everyone else looked down with tears in more than a few eyes. We continued in silence after this little agreement between us and when we reached the throne room we all saw something that surprised us.

There was a Earthen figure of a girl in the middle of the throne room. Frozen in the position of yelling something. I looked at the gods but they were just staring at it in shock. Then the Earthen figure seemed to crack and the entire thing just broke apart. And there was the thought to be dead daughter of Athena falling to the floor unconscious.

Athena quickly turned into a great horned owl and flashed down before turning human again and catching her. She crushed Annabeth into a hug causing her eyes to flutter open before seeing Athena and hugging her tightly. They hugged for a few long minutes and the first of us to rush in and crush her in a hug was Thalia. The rest of us followed not a moment later saying that we missed her and thought that she was dead. When we all pulled away she looked around, searching. Her eyes went towards Poseidon and we knew who she was searching for...Percy.

"Where's Percy?" she asked looking at him and then us as we all stepped back looking down at the floor sadly.

Annabeth's POV

I watched as they all looked down and I saw a few tears fall. I whirled around on Poseidon and pointed at him with a knife menacingly. He looked horrible: his hair was in strands, his skin pale as a ghost, and his eyes looked like a dull swamp in color.

"Where. Is. My boyfriend?" I threatened and he opened his mouth before closing it again and looking down in defeat. I looked at my mother not bothering to say it again I just glared at her with my best. The wolf glare I had learned from him, and though it wasn't as menacing as Percy's. It was still unnerving and got people talking.

"He's gone," Athena said and I was caught off guard before turning and hoping for the best.

Okay, he's probably just run off somewhere in grief thinking that he had lost me, I thought and then smiled wryly, he never could live with himself if he lost me, I hope he didn't try something. I saw my mother tap her fingers nervously and even Hestia looked guilty of something as she tended to the hearth.

"Okay what's going on?" I yelled brandishing my dagger again and pointing it at, where's Apollo? "Where is Apollo? No that's for later, where exactly is my boyfriend?"

"He's dead," Athena whispered and I almost dropped my knife, and then I gripped it tighter and pointed it at Hades.

"I need to see him" I growled and Hades seemed stuck on what to do.

"NOW!" He flinched and flashed out. The others followed and I saw a couple bursts of light behind me and I saw the others were gone. I screamed and threw my knife at the wall embedding it three inches into the stone.

—————3rd POV——————

The Gods and Former demigods all flashed into a room like that of a war meeting.

"What are we going to do? What are we going to do?" Piper started to pace back and forth.

"Can't you chat speak her to calm her down at least a little?" Jason asked and Hazel shook her head.

"Piper tried it on Percy once but failed and when she asked him why he told her it was because of the thought of Annabeth. I think if we tried that on her it would only make the situation worse."

"Yeah!" Leo yelled, "She's a damn Lioness out there. I could feel the bloodlust she had for all of us."

"Okay then what are we going to do?" Jason asked and pointed to the equally arguing gods and goddess', "This has never happened before and they are all equally as freighters as we are. We are lucky that Artemis isn't here or they would've all been pincushions but now."

"Maybe we break it to her easily, just that he died in the war, after all Apollo isn't here to verify the lie," Frank offered but got exasperated looks from everyone.

"That. That might work, but what about what happened to Apollo and Percy's body? We don't even know what happened to either of them," Nico interrupted, "plus we don't have Thalia here to help defend our asses when she learns the truth."

"Yeah what a time for the Hunters and Artemis to disappear huh?" Leo growled and everyone went silent.

"Okay then how about we ask about what happened to Percy," Hazel piped up, "that might help us figure out something and they haven't actually told us what happened to him anyways. It's been a few decades now."

The three looked at the gods, who except for Poseidon and Hestia, stopped talking suddenly feeling the aura they were giving off.

"What did happen to Apollo and Percy?" Jason stepped forwards looking at his father in a silent challenge. The gods present, but two, all sweat dropped at the nasty feeling they were getting.

—————Back to 1st (Annabeth)—————

"You are probably wondering why we have armor on and, well, that's because what we're about to tell you with probably make you explode," Jason said standing by his father and I narrowed my eyes fingering the hilt of my dagger. A large fracture in the pillar I had thrown it at as a reminder to them, "first let's explain what happened in the war."

They went on about how the war had went, from them all working together to fell the giants, to the point where Gaea rose and trapped everyone, briefly going over the part where Gaea crushed pseudo-Annabeth in the grip of a giant hand.

This caused Annabeth to frown knowing how her boyfriend would've taken it. But it was replaced with anger as they told her of the lies Gaea wove into their minds and what everyone, but Leo, did to Percy in the very spot she was standing. Then came Poseidon's turn and what happened after everyone was teleported back to their respective camps.

"I-I disowned Percy for thinking he was a traitor" Poseidon said and I gripped my knife tighter wanting to rip this old man apart. I was stopped by Athena, my mother, speaking.

"And. And we did horrible things to him before sending him to Tartarus," I snapped, Tartarus that's the place that I much less than Percy had wanted to go to again. I stopped and breathed like Percy taught me to when dealing with anger. When I was calm enough I looked at them again, realizing something. They sent him there, not banished?

"What do you mean sent him there?" I asked and Hephaestus spoke up instead.

"Zeus cursed him into becoming a monster and we tortured and then killed him. Sending him to Tartarus." He said and this got the attention of the others as well. They looked at their respective parents horrified and stepped away from them, but not quite getting close enough to me.

"What?! You did what?" I screamed advancing on them all and the seven tried stopping me in my advance. Franks spear had been torn from his grasp and his own shield knocked him to the floor. The others tried stopping me as well only to end up on the floor as well, Leo burst into flames in front of me stopping my advance.

"Ooo if had a way to get past your Fire powers you would be unconscious and soaked right now Leo," I said and then sheathed my Dagger turning away and walking to the bridge leading here and to the elevator. I felt a hand on my shoulder but I brushed it off.

"Where are you going?" It was my mother and I turned to face them once again.

"To fix your mistake," I said and I looked at them all, "all of your mistakes." I stepped past her and didn't look back, not even as Leo tried to stop me, getting a dagger hilt to his forehead, Fire or not metal is still stronger than your Fire at the moment.

"I don't know how long he's been trapped down there but when I find him you are all going to pay," and with that I passed the golden arch and continued on with them at my back.

Thanks for reading. I have changed up quite a bit here. She will no longer be a minor goddess, nor a major one until later in the story. I want to have a hoot template for what I'm going to work towards.

Thanks for reading
