Nausea

Chanyeol's POV-

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

I crack one eye open, feeling dazed and still half asleep, as loud banging on my door cuts through the silence.

"Open the door!"

My first instinct was to ignore her, but then I feel a rush of worry that there may be something wrong and that's why she is so insistent on finding us. That maybe something has happened.

"Yoongi! Chanyeol!" I hear her yell again.

I roll off my bed quickly, taking large steps to the door. Just as she starts to yell for me again I unlock the door and pull it open and am met with the sight of an irate Mrs Jeon.

Her hair is tangled, she has dark circles under her eyes and a manic look in her eyes. She's lost it and I almost want to feel bad for her. Almost.

"What's wrong? Has something happened?" I ask quickly as I look from her out into the hallway.

There's no one with her. Hyuk said they would keep at least one soldier with her to keep her away from Jungkook and Tae. Why is she alone?

"Does anyone know you're here?"

"Where are they." She growls as she glares up at me, ignoring my question.

"Mrs Jeon, I've been asleep. I don't know where they are." I tell her, keeping my voice as even as I can.

"Is Yoongi with you?" She asks as she clenches her jaw.

"No, he isn't." I answer shortly.

"If he isn't with you you probably know where he is. And don't tell me you don't. He doesn't do anything without you knowing about it." She says as she jabs her pointer finger into my chest. "And where he is my son is. So let me ask you again. Where are they."

"Mrs Jeo-"

"Tell me where that fuck up is with my son!" She yells as she shoves me aside to walk into the room.

I am stunned at her words, but the shock is quickly replaced with exasperation.

"I kept my mouth shut yesterday when you said those awful things about him, but I'm not going to let you keep pushing the blame onto Yoongi because you're too mentally and emotionally unstable to take accountability." I ground out in a lowered tone as I follow her further into the room as she searches for anyone that might be here with me.

"You can deflect the guilt you are so set on pushing off on someone else onto Irene. She is the only person that is responsible for everything that's happened. Don't you dare blame this on him. Don't you fucking dare."

I am seething the longer she stares at me with so much rage in her eyes. Rage that is so ridiculously misdirected.

"You just don't want to accept that you monopolized someone's life just as carelessly as she does. Just like she tried to do with Jungkook." I grit my teeth.

If she would put as much effort into helping Hyuk as she has trying to ambush Tae and Jungkook we would have every file closed and sent to the District Attorney by now.

Instead she keeps pulling this fucking shit.

"You asshole!" She raises her voice in anger as she points her finger in my direction. "You can defend him all you want, but you and I both know that what I said is true. Without him, none of this would have happened. Your friend would be alive, Bunny would be happy, Taehyung wouldn't hate me and those two would have each other."

"Enough!" I yell. "It's not Yoongi's fault he was toyed with and used for her enjoyment all these years. That he was emotionally abused, manipulated and obsessed over by her. He feels terrible enough about everything that's happened to the person he loves the most in the world, your son. He didn't ask for this and you know that."

"He's a curse and I'm going to make sure Bunny sees that."

"Jungkook knows that's not true! Just because your his mother doesn't mean he's going to listen to your delusions. Especially not when you've gone so fucking far off your rocker.

"It's baffling to me that your son, your father, I'm sure Hyuk and Hi as well, have tried numerous times to help you cope with your emotions, yet you have disregarded all of them. Your determination to keep yourself in the dark is astonishing.

"Maybe instead of trying to push your presence onto Tae and Jungkook you can do something useful with all of this determination you've been exhibiting and help Hyuk listen to the fucking audio files."

"Chanyeol, I swear to-"

"There isn't much to pack really. It should only take a few minutes."

Both of our eyes widen, making contact with each other before snapping our attention to the open door behind me where Tae's voice can clearly be heard.

I turn back to her just as she starts rushing towards the door. I quickly side step in front of her, blocking her path to the door before I go out into the hall and shut it tightly behind me.

The door can only be locked from the inside, so my only option is to hold the door closed to keep her from getting out.

I keep ahold of the doorknob, pulling as hard as I can as I feel it jiggling and turning in my hand. For such a small woman she is unexpectedly strong.

"Yeol?!" I hear Yoongi gasp.

"Chanyeol! Let me out!" She begins to yell as she pounds on the door.

I look up the hall and see a soldier with Jungkook close behind followed by Yoongi and Taehyung not far behind him.

"Is that my mother?" Jungkook gasps in surprise as he walks to me.

"Bunny?! Bunny tell him to let me out!" She pleads when she hears Jungkook's voice.

"Where the fuck are the soldiers that were supposed to be with her?! They were supposed to be keeping her away from them." Yoongi says as he steps in front of Tae protectively.

"I'm not sure! I was asleep and she just came banging on the door an-"

"Bunny please. We have to get him out of here. Don't you see? This is because of him. WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT?!"

All movement from the three of them as well as myself and the guard stop at the sound of her cries.

Somehow (and to my dismay) Yoongi doesn't seem to be nearly as affected by what she's said as I expected. I could hear him clear his throat, obviously taken back by what she's said, but within seconds he gathers himself and takes control of the situation.

"Go find someone who can either keep her locked in that room or can take her somewhere until we leave the base." He says crossly to the soldier.

"Leave?! You're not taking my son anywhere!" She yells as she starts furiously twisting and pulling on the doorknob.

The soldier rushes around him to go back down the hall while Yoongi turns to Tae, takes his hand, then walks to Jungkook, taking his hand as well.

"Yeol, can you keep her in there while we pack? It shouldn't be long until that guy brings some soldiers back."

Just as I'm about to answer my grip begins to slip on the doorknob, but I am able to quickly adjust my hold to keep it from opening.

"LET ME OUT, GODDAMN IT!" She screams as she begins pounding on the door again.

"I'll be fine, just go get packed." I groan, keeping the door held shut as Mrs Jeon has another jolt of super human strength as she fights to open the door.

"Two minutes tops." He answers as he pulls Tae and Jungkook to their room.

After I hear the door down the hall shut I focus my full attention on holding the door.

After about thirty seconds the pounding seems to lose its force and the doorknob stops shaking completely. After that all that can be heard is muffled wailing.

She sounds like she is in pain. It could be caused by the aching I'm sure she feels from hitting the door with her tiny fists, but the hurt sounds like something else. Something deeper.

"What am I going to do..." She cries between heavy, panicked sounding gasps. "He's leaving me... He doesn't want to be with me... He's all I have and he doesn't want to be with me..."

I don't say anything, but I can feel a lump building in my throat. My heart really does ache for her, but she did this to herself.

I'm able to relax my limbs a bit as it seems that she has stopped trying to get out, at least for a moment, just as heavy footsteps come around the corner into the hall. I look up to see four soldiers rushing towards me.

I recognize one as the Minho guy that's been helping Jungkook get around the building without getting lost, but other than him and the soldier that Yoongi sent to get them, I don't recognize them.

"She still in there?" One of the soldiers asks as he reaches for the doorknob to replace my hands with his.

"Yes she is."

As soon as he has a hold of the knob I stretch my fingers and stand up straight, cracking my neck as well. I didn't realize I was so tense.

"Is there anything in the room that you need to get?"

"No, I don't have anything."

"Okay. We've cleared it with General Kim to keep her here until you've all gone."

"Chanyeol!" She cries loudly from inside. "You can't take him from me!"

"Eomma."

I flinch, startled by his sudden appearance as well as the cold tone of his voice as Jungkook walks up beside me with Tae holding onto his arm tightly.

"No one is taking me. We were offered the chance to leave and we said yes."

"Offered?!" She questions, sounding more exasperated by the second.

"Yes." Yoongi answers as he walks up, standing on my other side with a pillow under his arm and a backpack hanging over his shoulder.

"You stay away from my boys Min Yoongi! You've done enough damage as it is!"

"Let's go." He exhales shakily as he looks around me to Jungkook and Tae.

Jungkook nods before he turns his head to Tae. Tae has his eyes fixed on the floor and doesn't look up when Jungkook says something I don't catch, to which Tae just nods shortly.

"I will take you to the car." Minho voices from ahead.

With a deep breath the four of us fall in step behind him. Yoongi starts walking by my side, but his steps begin to slow after a few strides.

I look back just in time to see Jungkook reaching out for him to take his hand.

"She's wrong, Yooni. We don't believe it." Jungkook says quietly to Yoongi while Tae nods in agreement, letting go of Jungkook's arm to walk around to the other side of Yoongi.

He takes the pillow that Yoongi had tucked under his arm, holds it to his chest and takes Yoongi's hand with his other.

It doesn't take long for us to make it to the front doors where General Kim, General Kang as well as more soldiers line the walk down to where three black SUVs are parked next to the curb.

The four of us follow Minho until we are stood in front of the two Generals.

"Let's get you on the road." General Kang says as he gestures for us to start towards the cars.

"You will be in the middle vehicle and Corporal Choi here will be escorting you to the city. He has been appointed as part of your main security detail that will assist you from here on out." General Kim says as he walks with us.

"Minho will be coming?" Jungkook asks, glancing at Minho with a smile then looking at General Kang.

This news surprises me. I haven't spent a lot of time around him, so I can't really say I do or don't think he's the best guy for this, but I'm weary.

"Yes. He's proven to be a skilled fighter and he has offered his services." General Kim answers, smiling at Jungkook before looking down at the bags he and Yoongi are carrying.

He instructs the soldiers to get the bags loaded into the car. They take the luggage from Jungkook but Yoongi asks to keep the backpack and pillow with him.

"Oh, and Yoongi. Minho has the cellphone for you to use when you call that friend of yours. Or when you need to get ahold of myself, General Kang or Hyuk." General Kim smiles at him.

"Thank you General."

"Yes," Jungkook says as he steps forward and throws his arms around his Grandfather. "Thank you so much for all of this." He says before pulling away to look at him. "And... please take care of my mother."

The General pulls him into another tight hug.

"We just have to give her time." I hear him say.

The General doesn't say it all that loudly but I hear Yoongi click his tongue in annoyance next to me after it's said, so I'm certain he heard it too.

"Alright." General Kim says after he is stood up straight again. "You boys better head out."

He then reaches out to shake each of our hands as one of the soldiers gets the car doors opened for us.

Jungkook climbs into the back seat first and Yoongi moves to climb in behind him, which is odd. He usually always sits in the front because of his nausea.

"Yoongs, don't you want to sit in the front?"

"He's going to sit back here with us." Jungkook smiles.

"This road has a ton of switch backs. I don't know if that's the best idea."

Yoongi sighs as he looks up at me. "If I need to switch seats with you I'll let you know."

I narrow my eyes as my lip turns up in an amused smirk. "You couldn't say no to them could you."

Before he can argue with me, Jungkook speaks.

"You get car sick?" Jungkook asks from inside the cab. "I didn't know that."

Yoongi turn his head in Jungkook's direction. "I was fine on the drive up and I'll be fine driving back."

"But you sat in the front on the way here..." Tae points out.

"Don't worry about me, okay? I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" Jungkook asks, voice full of concern.

"You can sit up there if you need to Hyung. It's okay." Tae says, looking at Yoongi with big, glistening eyes.

I watch Yoongi basically melt right then and there at the sight as he shakes his head. "I'll be okay. If not then I'll make sure to let you know and I'll switch with Yeol."

"You promise you'll tell us if you feel sick?" Tae asks skeptically.

Yoongi then holds his hand out to him, pinky up with a smile. "Pinky promise."

Oh God. Now I think I'm the one melting. I look over to Jungkook and he seems to be feeling the same way I am.

He's looking at the two with the upmost adoration while wearing a smile bright enough to light an entire town.

"Everyone pick a seat and let's go." Minho calls out as he climbs into the driver's seat.

After that we all get into our seats; me in the front, Jungkook in the back behind Minho, Yoongi in the middle and Taehyung behind me.

The three are squished pretty close together and I'm tempted to let them know that I'm almost positive this vehicle is capable of third row seating, but the extremely heartwarming scene causes me to keep the thought to myself.

Yoongi has Jungkook cuddled into his side on his left while Taehyung has his head laid on the pillow in Yoongi's lap.

"And he said they weren't a couple." I hear Minho say under his breath as he starts the car.

Soon. I think to myself as I lay my head back, looking out the passenger window as we pull away from the curb.

Yoongi's POV-

"These two are going to be the death of me, Yeol." I whisper loud enough for Yeol to hear me but quiet enough as to not disturb the two overgrown children sleeping on my lap.

"Do you mean in this exact moment or in general?" He asks and I can hear the stupid smirk in his voice as he keeps facing forward.

"All I know is that I promised I would tell them if I was getting sick and that's now. I could throw up any second." I gulp down the bile in my throat. "I don't remember this road being so goddamn winding."

"So wake them up." He says as if it's the most simple thing in the world.

I glare at the back of his head before flashing my eyes to the rear view mirror, locking them with the driver guy momentarily.

I huff as I look down at the two sharing the pillow in my lap.

I want to be annoyed. I want to shake them and tell them that I'm about to puke all over their beautiful faces if they don't get up, but I can't. They look so peaceful. Ethereal. Angelic.

And the irony of that is while the two have been asleep, I have had to try my damndest to keep myself from getting too worked up and getting lost in less than pure thoughts.

Kook has kept relatively still as he's slept. Taehyung on the other hand has hardly gone more than few minutes without moving his head. He's doing it subconsciously, trying to get more comfortable, but with each movement he causes the pillow to rub and press right down on my dick.

I've had a semi for almost an hour now.

"It's an ethical dilemma. Do you keep your promise but disturb their peaceful sleep or break it to let them remain peaceful." The driver speaks up.

"Break your promise and suffer through your churning stomach as a result or keep your promise, making them suffer due to the loss of sleep." Yeol adds.

I know for sure I'm already suffering. And it's only going to intensify if Taehyung moves one mor-

"Suffering is a bit of an exaggeration." Taehyung mumbles in a deep, sleep coated voice.

The sound of his voice alone makes heat pool in my stomach, and that heat only intensifies when Kook pipes up in his own sexy, groggy tone.

"If you want us to move you're going to have to say it."

"Yeah Hyung. You can't get what you want unless you say it." Taehyung says in the same lower than usual voice as he snuggles his head more deeply into the pillow, which is the absolute worst thing he could do in this moment.

And it was so perfectly timed with his double entendre sounding comment that I refuse to believe any of that was unintentional.

I clench my jaw as I face forward, trying to get my hormones back under control. But, before that can happen, and to torture me further, Kook starts to shift his position on the pillow as well.

Fucking hell.

I bite both lips to fight the blatantly inappropriate sounds threatening to escape from me, close my eyes and take a few deep breaths through my nose.

"What's wrong Yooni? Are you feeling that sick?" Kook asks, thankfully in a voice that sounds a little closer to normal.

Perfect excuse.

Yep, that's what's wrong.

I nod my head slowly, keeping my eyes shut as I let out a sigh of relief moments later when I feel the weight of their heads lift off of my lap.

When I feel a little more composed, I open my eyes in time to see Taehyung rubbing the sleep out of his eyes while Kook leans forward, asking the soldier to pull over when he can.

After about a minute and a half of dry heaving outside the car, we load back in; myself in the front while Taehyung sits behind me, Kook behind the soldier and Yeol in the very back on a third row bench seat we had no idea was there.

The asshole could have pointed it out to us earlier, but whatever.

Once we're back on the road and I can look out the window as well as roll it down to get a little fresh air on my face, I feel much better.

The car is relatively silent, some rustling and bickering heard from Taehyung and Kook every once in a while, but other than that it's quiet.

The soldier, Minho, doesn't talk much, which is nice and will allow me to slip into sleep more easily. If only Taehyung would have allowed the silence to remain settled.

"Damnit!" He groans loudly.

"We don't have cell service anyway, Tae. We can just charge it when we get to the apartment." Kook says calmly.

"But I was going to watch my show." He grumbles unhappily. "I have the episodes downloaded so I don't need service to watch them."

"We can try to go back to sleep." Kook says before asking the rest of us in the car. "How much longer until we're there?"

"About fifty minutes I'd say." Minho answers back.

"That's not bad, Tae. Let's try to get some more rest, yeah?"

"Okay." He sighs.

Within five minutes the car goes quiet again.

I sneak a glance behind me and see Taehyung with his head on Kook's leg while he hugs the pillow close to his chest.

Kook is staring out the window with his head rested against the back of the seat. I can also see Yeol in the very back of the car with his eyes closed as well.

Feeling content that everyone seems to be relaxed, at least for the time being, so I face forward again, leaning my head back and closing my eyes as well.

...

We pull up to the Apartment building much too soon after I fall asleep, but I can't say it was the worst view to wake up to.

As I climb down from the car and step onto the driveway, I feel unexpectedly happy.

In fact, I don't think I've been this happy to be coming home since the first time I got to come home after Kook started living here all those months ago.

The memory makes me smile blissfully.

I would get so happy at the end of the day knowing Kook would be there when I got home.

When things were still new to both of us and we were harboring feelings that had yet to be expressed.

When I had a crush on him, my assistant, and he had a crush on me, the owner, as he would refer to me as with his friends.

That seems like a lifetime ago now. So much has changed. For better and for worse.

"Yooni?"

I jump at the sound of my name being called by Kook. I look towards the doors to the building to see that he, Taehyung, Yeol and Minho are all looking at me expectantly as they wait for me to walk into the building with them.

I smile apologetically and quickly walk to where they are stopped just outside the glass doors.

"So Tae," Yeol begins as we walk across the lobby to the elevators. "I was thinking that I could get Baek and Suho, maybe Jin and Namjoon too, to head over to your place this week and we can get things packed."

"I can go too." Kook speaks up with a happy smile as we reach the elevators.

"That would be great." Yeol say with a smile as he pushes the button for our floor.

"Yeah, as long as I don't have to-"

""Taehyung?!"

We all spin on our heals as the voice echos loudly through the open space. We turn to see Seulgi and the girl.

"TAE!" The two exclaim simultaneously while running towards us.

As the elevator door dings behind us and the doors open, I step inside to hold the door for the others.

It was surprising in itself to see the two women so suddenly. What was even more surprising is what they said next.

"We are so glad you're safe, and we both need to talk to you soon, but right now you have to go back upstairs!" The girl says as she starts pushing Taehyung backwards into the elevator.

"I'll try to stall." Seulgi says quickly before turning to go back towards the front doors.

"Stalling?" Kook asks. "Stalling for what, Yeri."

"She's going to be here any second." The girls says anxiously, continuing to get Taehyung pushed into the elevator.

"She? As in she she?" Minho asks as he frantically fishes a cellphone out of his pocket.

"Yes! So hurry and go!"

After she speaks we don't hesitate to crowd into the elevator.

Once we're all inside I push the door closed button as quickly as possible and as the doors begin to close agonizingly slow the sound of high heels clicking across the granite floor begins to echo through the large space.
