The weeks had passed and Kari had gotten used to living in Skyworld with Pit and Palutena and the centurions. She and Pit had gotten along pretty well but did not considered each other friends but rather acquaintances or partners.

The two items Palutena had been talking about and sending the two out on missions to retrieve had been inactive and were off in a way ever since Kari's encounter with Dark Pit in her most recent mission with Pit. Palutena sighed as she watched for any signs of trouble.

"No trouble..." She sighed and then noticed something that was too big to just skim past it. A city was being attacked by underworld forces. Paris France to be exact. Palutena then called Kari and Pit and told them to be ready for a mission as soon as they could then sent them out. Kari grabbed her weapons then rushed to the exit to meet up with Pit and they were sent out.

"Where are we headed now Lady Palutena?" Pit asked happily as Kari began to shoot some Monomiknose as well as a few Monoeyes and some Gyrazer.

"Paris France." Palutena replied and Pit gasped in awe.

"PARIS?!" The angel called out happily, getting Kari's attention.

"Wait, Paris as in Paris France? I think Pit should change his attire if we are going to an area that is populated like THAT!" Kai called and Palutena hummed.

"Kari does have a point. Things have changed a lot since we last fought. The humans do not believe in us as much as they used to. They would get a little frightened if they saw you." Palutena sighed and Pit gulped.

"S-sooo, what do we do?" Pit asked, not sure if he should be scared or not. Kari blinked and shot a Monomiknose then looked at Pit.

"She agree with me?" Kari asked and Pit nodded slowly. Kari smirked then went back to fighting.

"I'll put you two in a less populated area near by so no one sees you. Tell Kari that she is in charge of getting you a change of clothing while you fight off enemies in the surrounding area. When she gets back listen to her about how to act and talk and all that stuff." Palutena informed and then Pit did as he was told and informed Kari about her job. The two soon landed and Kari was off quickly.

"How do I do this with no money..." Kari thought and looked around at the stores as she began to crunch the prices of random clothing in her head. She soon felt something in her right pocket so she stuck her hand in her pocket and pulled out a stack of Euros! (A/N Yes, French currency is the Euro. I googled it :P) Kari blinked then quickly shoved the money back in her pocket then went into a store and looked around. "Thank you Palutena!" Kari thought happily as she grabbed a gray t shirt with a gold bow and arrow on the front, a white hoodie, a brown cloth satchel, some loose fitting jeans, and some brown sneakers. Kari payed for Pit's new clothing then left the store and raced back to Pit, who was taking a nap since no enemies were around. Kari rolled her eyes and tossed the clothing onto Pit with a smirk. The angel snorted and sat up. He stared at the bag in his lap and Kari chuckled.

"Well?" Kari asked with a smile. "I won't look, go get changed." Kari said then turned her back to Pit with closed eyes. She even put her hands over her eyes as she waited for Pit to finish.

"O-okay..." Pit gulped and Kari turned to see Pit holding his tunic in his arms and wearing the clothes she bought. Kari smiled then noticed that he was still wearing his gold laurel crown. Kari walked up to him and got on her tip toes to take it off of him. She could barely reach but she still got it off of him.

"Perfect." Kari smiled then put Pit's cloths in the bag she used to bring the clothes she bought for him moments ago. Pit tugged on his new clothes and sighed.

"These clothes feel weird... They are rubbing up against my wings which I'm not really used to..." Pit gulped as they walked into Paris and Kari sighed.

"You'll get used to it. Now where is this trouble Palutena told us about?" She asked with a hum and Pit began to lead. The two soon heard a boom sound and then people screaming. The two exchanged glances then raced that way quickly. They soon arrived at a big museum and then went in. People began to scream as another boom sounded from the top floor. Underworld troops were destroying things and holding hostages in a corner of the first floor. Kari went and saved the hostages and told Pit to go on ahead. Pit nodded and raced to the top floor as quickly as he could.

When he reached the top floor he saw a sign reading "relics" at the top of the stairs. Pit was confused, why would the underworld army want to take any of these old things? The angel cautiously walked on, keeping his guard up and glancing around. A laugh filled the room as Medusa appeared from the shadows. Her hair was now smooth and pure black and she wore a black cloth dress that had long sleeves and appeared old and beaten up. Pit growled and took a stance.

"Hello, Pit!" Medusa greeted with a chuckle.

"Medusa!" Pit called. "State your business!" He growled in anger. Medusa laughed.

"Don't get your wings in a knot. Remember what I said not to long ago?" Medusa smirked evilly and Pit blinked in confusion. "I'm looking for something and having fun while doing so. I believe what I'm looking for in here. Though I could be wrong." Medusa hummed and Pit narrowed his eyes and gritted his teeth with a low growl. That was when the goddess of darkness turned and made a hole in the wall that led outside. She huffed in anger and jumped out, mumbling something in annoyance.

"H-HEY!!" Pit called and went to grab Medusa but was too late and skid to a stop. He looked up and noticed the clouds darken and a male laugh surround the city of Paris. This scared everyone as they turned to the sky and saw a giant man with black skin and red hair with green tips. Hades! Pit gasped and took a surprised step back. That was when Kari rushed up and saw the god of the underworld for the first time. Medusa grew and walked to stand next to him with a smirk. They then left the area, leaving many questions to be answered. Kari and Pit exchanged confused glances then turned to leave.

While in the streets of Paris the two saw a teen boy, seemingly older than Kari by two or three years, walk past him. He then stopped and approached them.

"Um, excuse me." He asked. His hair was pure black and pulled up into a tiny ponytail that kind of looked like a rabbit's tail with a tip that parted a little at the end and was placed around the mid-upper part of his head and the top of his head was a little messy as if he had been blown by a big gust of wind. His eyes were a hypnotizing hazel color and he wore a dark gray t shirt with blue jeans, dark blue sneakers and a purple hoodie. He smiled kindly. "Hi there. You wouldn't happen to know where I could find the museum would you? My dad was supposed to meet me there. He asked innocently and Kari blinked and cleared her throat.

"We just came back from there. The police are investigating the area because of a recent robbery. I think you should call your... Dad and tell him to meet you somewhere else... Like the park or something." Kari replied, keeping the god stuff hidden and the teen nodded with a sigh.

"Got it, thank you." He thanked then went off happily. Kari sighed then the two went back to Skyworld once out of Paris. They kept wondering about what Medusa was doing. And why did she up and leave when Hades arrived? Pit's thoughts kept wiring when he and Kari arrived back at Skyworld as he ran some errands for Palutena while Kari was off doing who knows what.
