As the three weeks went by Kari and Pit had to spend less and less time together because of the ceremony. Viridi helped out along with Arlon and Phosphora and even Dark Pit. Kari had to also chose some things like food and decoration and her clothing.

"But I don't like dresses!" Kari whined sadly upon seeing her choices.

"They aren't dresses Kari, they're tunics." Palutena giggled. "Now pick. You need to wear one of these for the day then you can wear whatever you want alright." Kari sighed then picked something to wear and went back to helping. They were holding the ceremony at Viridi's place since the goddess of nature insisted that they did so they let the ceremony be held there and moved over to the nature goddess's temple for a while.

Soon it was time for the ceremony. Kari, Viridi, Palutena and Phosphora were all getting ready, mainly helping Kari get ready. A bell chimed throughout the palace and then the four goddess got into a line with Kari in the back.

"Come on." Viridi said and then walked out of the door with the other three behind her. Kari hummed lightly to herself.

"You'd think I'm getting married... Guess this is just a important." Kari thought then arrived at the main area. It was wide and open with many plants around the area. The goddesses walked Kari to the front where Zeus stood with a professional expression and his hands behind his back.

Kari noticed Pit out of the corner of her eye staring at her with wide eyes and a crimson face. He apparently liked the long silver tunic that went up into a silver mist at the end, the glimmering golden flats and the golden belt that looked similar to Palutena's belt but had a waning crescent moon pendant on the front, and the crown that was once Selene's crown. The crown was gold and it had a moon on the front in a similar shape to the letter "u" aligned with Kari's forehead and it had a small silver glowing orb in the center.

Kari giggled lightly at Pit then bowed when she saw Zeus. The god of gods smiled lightly and inhaled.

"Kari, daughter of Selene goddess of the moon. I, Zeus, now give you the title of moon goddess in your mother's place. Please care for the moon and give light to the humans when night covers the earth." Zeus's voice boomed and Kari stood up straight and smiled.

"I will do my best." She called and everyone cheered happily. Kari had finally become the goddess of the moon officially and her new life was about to begin.

After the ceremony Kari was on her own for a while when Pit came up.

"K-Kari. You look good." The angel smiled. Kari turned to face him to see that he was blushing. "I... Could help you out from time to time with your duties if you'd like." Pit offered and Kari giggled.

"I'd... I'd like that." Kari giggled happily and kissed Pit's cheek then looked at him lovingly.

"Maybe we... Could... Uh..." Pit's face got even more red and Kari tilted her head in confusion.

"Nope!" Called a voice. It was Shinji. He came up and pulled Pit away from Kari like a protective brother. Kari laughed at the scene and then sighed and walked off.

"Well, time to see mom's old temple I guess and to start my new life as goddess of the moon." Kari sighed and went to the crowd of gods and goddess and the two angels that attended the event. Kari gave a smile to them.

A new adventure for Kari awaits now.
