Kari blinked and stared at the man as he smiled at her. The young goddess tilted her head slightly and squinted her eyes slightly.

"Kari. You've grown so much." The man said and Kari grew even more confused.

"Who... Are you exactly?" She asked and the man frowned slightly then let out a chuckle.

"Oh yeah! You haven't seen me in my true form. This might jog your memory." The mad snapped his fingers and a familiar figure appeared to the man's left. Kari gasped and looked at the two.

"A-Allen??" Kari sniffled and walked up to the older male as she looked up at him with wide eyes. He chuckled and hugged Kari tightly as the fake male disappeared.

"Well, yeah. But that's not really my name. It's just what I went by in the human realm." Allen smiled kindly. "My real name is Shinji. The Allen you knew was just a copy but it was still me." Shinji smiled kindly and let Kari go as she sobbed.

"I thought you were dead!" She cried. "I thought I'd never see you again! Now here you are and not only that but you're a god!" Kari wiped away her tears and sniffled. Shinji nodded with a kind smile.

"God of the sun actually. I took over after my father died. I'm also your cousin, if you haven't heard of our family tree." Shinji chuckled and Kari gulped then nodded. Shunji then looked at Palutena, who was watching from near by.

"Well, I can see you took after your father. It's good to see you again, Shinji." Palutena smiled and Pit came out of the training room. He saw Shinji holding Kari and gasped then went up and snatched Kari and held her close.

"Back off!" Pit growled and glared at Kari's cousin. Kari turned and slapped Pit across the face.

"Quit it! This is All- I mean Shinji. He's my COUSIN! Geez, Pit what has gotten into you?!" Kari yelled and Pit frowned and rubbed his cheek. Palutena put a hand on the angel's shoulder and took him into the other room.

"Pit, I have a question for you." Palutena said then looked Pit dead center in the eyes. The angel gulped and blinked. "Do you love Kari?" Palutena asked with her arms crossed. Pit widened his eyes in shock as a bright pink blush covered his face.

"I... Uh.. I... Y-yeah..." Pit said with a gulp and shyly looked down. Palutena laughed and rubbed Pit's head and then gave him a wink.

"You're so readable, Pit. If you want I can help you tell her how you feel." Palutena smirked and Pit's face turned into a deep crimson.

"N-No! I've got it! I was gonna tell her tonight actually... After dinner..." Pit gulped and Palutena squealed happily and then began to giggle.

"Ok, I'll go start to make dinner for you." Palutena called then raced out happily.

Hours later Pit and Kari were sitting at the dinner table eating dinner. Shinji had gone back home for the day. Pit began to sweat as he thought of telling Kari how he felt. He was jittery and very nervous.

"Pit," Kari's sweet voice called. "You feelin ok? You're all red. You have a fever?" Kari looked worried and Pit shook his head.

"N-No. I'm fine." Pit smiled and Kari sighed then ate some more. After dinner Kari began to go to her room.

"Well, I'll be going. See you later Pit." Kari smiled and was about to enter her room but she felt something grab her wrist. Kari looked back to see Pit was holding her wrist. He was blushing red and had a confident-angry look in his eyes. Kari blinked in confusion.

"K-Kari... I-I have something that I just HAVE to say." Pit gulped and looked Kari in her glittering eyes. "I-I... Kari Himura, I would be honored if you were my girlfriend!" Pit called and Kari went wide eyed as a small blush dusted her face. "Kari after I was captured by Medusa I began to understand that I had fallen in love with you and I can't live without you. When you were captured I couldn't help but worry that I had lost you forever... Kari I--"

"Pit," Kari said in a low tone and looked him over. "I think I've come to love you too. So stop worrying about me rejecting you. Ok?" Kari smiled cutely and Pit smiled widely and pulled her into a tight and loving embrace. Kari giggled then hugged back. Soon they both parted ways and Kari went to bed. She heard Pit yell out triumphantly outside her door, causing her to giggle as she got under her covers.

The months went by and Shinji came over to tell Kari something.

"A what now?" Kari asked in confusion as Pit held her on his lap, his arms wrapped around her and his head on hers. Shinji sighed.

"A coronation party. I had one when I took my father's position as God of the sun. Since you are half goddess then you can take over Selene's position as moon goddess. So it basically says that you've taken over the position of moon goddess and all." Shinji smiled and Kari blinked as she understood.

"Ok... So when is it?"

"Three weeks from now." Shinji replied and Kari nodded. Soon everything began to be planned out with Viridi and Palutena doing most of the decoration work as well as picking out Kari's clothing because of their creative eyes and woman's touch. Pit and Kari were unable to spend too much time together because of the preparations going on for Kari's party.
