Chapter One
Guess it's back to square one now 😆 😹
~~~~~
As my eyes opened, I looked around.
"Natasha...? Liam...?" I asked, noticing them looking down at me.
"You're okay!" Liam exclaimed, grinning.
"Huh? Yeah. Where are we?" I asked, still a little dazed.
"The mindscape,"
"No, where are we in the mindscape?"
"Oh! No idea," Natasha grinned. "But! The sole purpose of a new place is to explore!"
"The sole purpose of this mindscape is to get out and live," I told her, making her chuckle nervously.
Liam helped me up, so I thanked him.
I looked at the clothes I had once I remembered what Natasha had said.
I was wearing a black zip-up hoodie, the outer rims being dark blue. The outfit also included a black face mask. The pants were black with blue scale-like patterns on the front and I had a black top underneath it too. Lastly, I had long gloves that only cover up to part of my fingers.
It looked nice and was very comfortable too.
Natasha was wearing something similar. She also had a zip-up hoodie, but it was a more grayish-green with an emerald outer edge. She had a face mask, but kept it around her neck. Her pants were black and so were her shoes. Natasha's top was black with three belts designed onto it
(Pretend that both of her legs are covered)
Liam was wearing something more similar to my outfit.
It was pretty much all black. His shoes were black with a white stripe on them. He had a hood attached to his full-body outfit.
"So, I can't help but notice that our clothes are all dark," I said.
"It's because our magic picked up that there are lots of monsters around and we need to sneak in the shadows, so that's what we're going to do," Liam explained.
"Okay... So, if we're going to be sneaking, shouldn't we get out of this clearing?" I asked.
"Oh, right. C'mon, I know a place where we can hide!"
Natasha led us and, eventually, we came upon a cave.
"We can stay here for a while, get our energy back up and then go through explore. In the meantime, I can fill you in on what we've gathered so far about this place," She directed at me.
"Hold on," I walked to the entrance of the cave, put my hands on the edge and peaked round the corner.
Once I knew that nobody was there, I left and found some sticks. I brouth them back into the cave and used my magic to create a fire.
"I was just about to say magic still works," Natasha joked. I laughed and put my hands above it, Liam lying down next to me.
Also, I forgot to mention, he was pretty small.
"Hey, I forgot to ask, how old are you two? I'm seventeen," I asked.
Natasha grinned and made a fist, then put her thumb to her chest.
"I'm sixteen, he's twelve," She said proudly.
"Sow, he's tall for a twelve year old. Also pretty cuddly," I teased, ruffling his hair and letting him put his head on my lap. "So, are we leaving this cave anytime soon?"
"We will, but we need our energy since we're going to be traveling long distances," Natasha answered as I subconsciously stroked Liam's hair.
There was suddenly a draft of cold and Liam snuggled closer.
"Cold?" I asked him. He shook his head.
"Mm-mm. Only a little but I'll be okay,"
"If you say so," I suddenly remembered something. "Natasha! You said that we would have weapons, didn't you? Where are they?"
"Oh, right! You need to summon them with an enchantment! This is the enchantment: Fu sila ca minea," She chanted, her eyes closed and hand outstretched, palm open. A small light glowed in her hand, then outstretched into a weapon. The outcome was a small scythe.
She twirled it around her finger once and it grew in size.
(Don't judge me, Seraph of the End is an amazing anime)
"Cool. What was it again?" I asked as Natasha spun it and lightly threw it in the air, letting it revert back to its key-like state.
"It's Fu Sila Ca Minea,"
After a third time, I managed to pronounce it. The outcome was three types of weapons. The first was two duel wielding swords, the second a bow and the last was a pretty large vile with a glowing, kinda transparent, green liquid inside of it. I could immediately tell that it was a healing potion.
Bow:
(Used like this:
That will pop up and give you optified vision, also, the arrow alights like this (pretend it's a pale green)
Vile:
"Guess one of us needs healing stuff, huh?"
Liam's weapon ended up just being a long, thin sword with a neon green edge to the glad and an emerald green handle.
~PJ's Pov~
I lay on my bed, scrolling through pictures that had me and (y/n) in them. The sight of them made more tears pour out of my already tired eyes.
A knock resonated from my bedroom door.
"PJ? Please come out! Food is ready!" I heard my dad (Ink) call. (Quick note, dad is Ink, Father is Error).
"No," I said through the door, loud enough so dad could hear me. I heard him sigh and something get put on the floor in front of my door.
"I'll leave this here for you, I'll be back later,"
I sighed and thought about (y/n). Dammit. Even memories are making me cry.
I sighed, tears still falling down my face. I got up and walked to my door, opened it and took the food into my room, then closed the door again.
I ate the meal, then felt a wave of tiredness consume me as I put the plate next to my bed, and my head on the pillow.
One word escaped my mouth as I fell asleep.
"(Y/n)..."
