3rd Person POV (around 21-22 years ago.)
The dark shadow lurked through the night and invited himself into a home that he had no place being in. Using the force to unlock the door while the occupants slept peacefully, unaware of his presence.
The man with wicked intentions went straight to one specific room first, he knew where to go, he could feel her. The floorboards creaked underneath his heavy footsteps while he pushed the door open slowly, the metal hinges of the door grated as the nursery came into full view.
He smiled devilishly as he waltzed into the room and stood by the little girls crib. He looked down at the curious three month old baby, whose (y/e/c) eyes were looking right up at him as she wiggled around and made babbling noises, "I have been looking for you little one." He reached down and stroked the babies cheek gently with the knuckle of his index finger.
"Get away from my daughter," The mother of the child stood in the doorway with a lightsaber in her hand.
Palpatine chuckled menacingly as he turned, to side-eye her wasted bravery, "You shouldn't play with toys you don't know how to use Katherine." He spoke through gritted teeth as his yellow eyes sent a wave of fear down her spine.
Katherine wasn't a Jedi, she was a shop owner who fell in love with a Jedi. The lightsaber was left behind by the babies father for protection while he was away from his hidden family.
"Please," Katherine begged him with tear filled eyes; her confidence gone, she had no way of protecting her or her child from a Sith, "Don't hurt my baby."
The intruder turned to fully face her, "I can assure you my dear, I have no intention of hurting her." He lifted his hand and began to use the force to choke the oxygen out of the woman. She struggled to breath while her lungs burned as they begged for what they're being deprived of, "I have so many plans for her, she is strong, stronger than most." He stepped closer to her as he continued to stare her down, "Thank her father for me, or wait, you won't be able to." He cackled while bringing the poor woman down to her knees.
She scratched at her throat; desperately trying to pull off the invisible force, "My baby-"
"Do not worry my dear Katherine, she will be magnificent." He tightened his grip and snapped the neck of the terrified mother. The last thought she had was of her daughter, the baby she would never get to hold again. Heart broken that the life she was supposed to have with her child and her husband, has been ripped away by this deceiving man.
Palpatine took his eyes away from the dead woman and looked down at the innocent baby. His new little project that he will raise as his own until he sets his plan into motion.
His creation on Tatooine has proven to be a disappointment, the little boys kind heart could never be swayed because of the love he shared for his mother. He only saw good in him, but when it came to this baby in front of him, he has a chance to raise her himself with the dark side, her true potential can be explored for his own gain; to be used for his own plans.
"Let's go sweetie," He picked up the baby as she whimpered in his grasp, frightened by his unfamiliar face, "Do not cry little one, I'm your family now." He turned around and stepped over the woman's body, not even giving her a second glance. Leaving her there so her body can later be found by her devastated husband.
2 years later
The little girl ran, cuts and bruises covered her body as she tripped over countless branches and tree stumps. She was out of breath, but she didn't care, she knew she needed to keep running.
She tripped once more and whimpered as her tear filled eyes looked down at her scraped knees, covered in her own blood. As young as she was, she knew she had to escape. Her father, or more like her torturer, brought her nothing but pain and suffering.
He would ask her questions, and anytime she would get one wrong, he laid his hand on her cheek and sent a small shockwave through her. Nothing strong enough to do real damage, but strong enough to cause her pain and make her cry.
This wasn't her first time trying to run away from him either, but he always somehow found her and she would receive harsh punishments.
But to her luck, there was something different about today. Someone, different.
"Lost are you?" She jumped at the sound of the voice while she was eyeing her wound, half-expecting it to be the man she was trying to hide from.
Her little eyes looked up at the small green man who was smiling down at the scared girl in front of him. He was trying to be cautious as not to scare her away, since she already looked like she was about two seconds from running again.
He found her easily through the force; she was strong, stronger than most kids her age that he has encountered. It was hard for him to miss when she wasn't being locked away by Palpatine who kept her signature hidden from other users. For fear of them coming to look for her.
She shook her head in response, but spoke no words out of fear. She was always told not to speak unless she was given permission to.
Yoda stepped a little closer to her and tilted his head, his ears flopped slightly from his actions, catching the little girls attention. Her young innocent thoughts filled with the idea of pulling on them, "Your family where is?" He asked softy.
She still didn't speak.
He put his hand into his pocket and pulled out a treat for her, something he was carrying for himself, but he noticed that she looked starved, "Tell me, and have this you can." He bargained with her with a friendly smile.
She stood up slowly and kept her eyes on the food while her stomach grumbled, "I don't have one," She decided to lie, she didn't want him to send her back to her tormenter. She doesn't know that she is technically a missing child, if thats even what she can be called. Her existence and who her true father was, remained unknown to the Jedi.
Yoda hummed curiously as he held the food out to her and she slowly stepped forward and accepted it, trusting him just a little more, "Your name what is?"
"I don't know," She answered as she pulled the wrapper from the bar and began eating it. Her stomach ached from the lack of food she received and she knew this wouldn't be enough, her body needed more.
He eyed the girl as she ate, noticing the multiple wounds around her body. Some she only recently received during her escape, and some were given to her by Palpatine himself.
Yoda then held out his claw to the child, believing she has been abandoned and homeless, "Safe with me you will be, a home I can give you, away from here it is."
Her attitude perked at the idea of being anywhere than where she is now and she quickly accepted the green mans hand. She could feel that he would bring her no harm, she sensed in the force that he was a good person with pure intentions. Otherwise she never would have gone with him, but her heart urged her on.
Her rescuer held onto her hand as he walked her towards the ship he came on, "Can I touch your ears?" She asked innocently as she watched them bounce with every new step he took.
He glanced down at her amused by her request, then he stopped their movements and tilted his head to the side so she can have a better reach. She giggled happily as she did the one thing that's been on her mind since they caught her attention. She was gentle as to not hurt him, but they fascinated her.
Master Yoda smiled at the girl, unaware to the fact that she will eventually hold his whole heart in the palm of her hands. And will use those very hands to crush it into pieces due to her own corruption.
Yoda then walked her up the ships ramp and she looked up at the other person that was in the ship with them, "This important mission was picking up a stray Master Yoda?" A man with a braid and a small ponytail spoke with a chuckle in his tone before glancing down at the girl, "Well aren't you adorable." He bent down and held a hand out to the two year old girl, "I'm Obi-Wan Kenobi, and who might you be?" The twenty year old spoke softly with a warm smile.
(Facts; Obi-Wan was 25 in the Phantom Menace, (y/n) would be 7 in the phantom menace since Anakin is 9 and he is two years older than her.)
The girl shook her head not knowing what to do with this attention, it wasn't something she was used to, "Have a name she does not." The green man who still remained by her side, making her feel more comfort spoke.
She did have one, one that Palpatine called her, but she hated it. She didn't like the way it rolled from his tongue, it sounded immoral and it didn't feel like her own.
Kenobi furrowed his brows as he eyed the girl, taking in her wounded condition for the first time, curious as to where she came from, "Well we can't have that now can we?" He brought his hand up to his chin in thought before smiling, "How about (y/n)? Do you like that?" He asked her sweetly, thinking of the first name that popped into his mind. It was the name of a woman on his very first mission, she sacrificed her own life for his.
The girl smile smiled with a nod, the name sounded light and sweet, compared to other name she was been given, "Yes sir, I do."

(Present)
Anakin's POV
I dropped down from the ship that brought Obi-Wan and I up to the platform that Grievous ran to, "Why are you running Grievous?" I growled as I stood up straight to eye the beaten up droid.
He got out of his spider-like form and stood on both legs with the two lightsabers he had left raised. He only glared at us both menacingly in response to my question before charging at us with full force.
We deflected his aggressive attacks the best we could, but I was lacking on my end, thanks to the burning pain in my shoulder. I swung my lightsaber towards his face, which he parried but I twisted our lightsabers around, pushing his out of his mechanical hand.
He quickly lifted one of his legs to roughly kick me away from him and I fell backwards, landing on my injured shoulder. I grimaced at the pain while Obi-Wan got distracted by my takedown and took his eyes off of Grievous; who l grabbed him by his throat and began choking him.
"No!" I shouted as I got to my feet when I saw Grievous about to impale Obi-Wan with the one lightsaber he had left.
But there was the sound of an engine and a shot being fired; knocking Grievous forward and he instantly loosened his grip on Obi-Wan who fell to the floor choking for air.
The golden shot came from Rex in a ship that was flying behind the droid General, which hit him right in his shoulder.
I took this opportunity while he was distracted to grab my lightsaber and dashed towards him. I immediately plunged it through his back, since he was facing the ship and deflecting shots from both Rex and Cody.
He roared out a mechanical scream as I twisted the blade and pulled it upwards to slice through his chest and head, splitting him in half from the chest up.
I backed away while breathing heavily as his body fell to the floor.
I sighed with relief as I dropped to my knees from the exhaustion I was feeling, "Are you alright sir?" Rex came to my side, while Cody was already by Obi-Wans.
I nodded; turning to look at my injured shoulder that was still producing a burning pain, "Did you take care of the droids?"
"Yes sir, the clankers didn't know what hit em." He responded as he through my arm over his shoulder and lifted me up.
"Good, now please get me some bacta gel and Tech, I need to go home."

(y/n)'s POV
My head was swarming with this new information. It hardly made any sense, how could I be his daughter?
As if he read my thoughts, he answered my question, "You were taken away from me when you were very young, and it wasn't until a few years ago that I found you. But I didn't want to pull you away from the life you had, so I merely stayed and watched over you the best I could."
I laughed humorlessly, "Well you've been doing a shitty fucking job." I backed away and dropped down into a chair, while I still processed this news.
He quickly came forward and bent down in front of me, "My daughter, you can trust me. It's the Jedi you shouldn't trust, look at what they've been doing to you." He lifted his hand up and placed it on the side of my cheek while I continued to look at him with uncertainty, "And look at what they've done to Cal." The mention of my Padawans name and the thought of him suffering tugged on my emotions, "Tortured at only fourteen years old and they didn't even give Master Windu any form of punishment, who knows what else they are capable of, they are corrupted."
I don't think I've stopped crying since walking into this room, everything I'm hearing is too much for me, I can't even begin to understand it all. I didn't know who to believe, or what. I just wish I had Anakin here to help me, my head felt it wanted to explode, "I-"
"Get away from her." A familiar voice filled the room; startling me as I stood up to face the figure in the doorway.
"Master Windu." Palpatine spoke his name with distain, "How long have you been listening?"
Mace slowly stepped in the room with his hand on his hilt; ready for an attack, "Long enough to know what you're doing." He was leisurely walking closer to us, his eyes shifting between me and the Chancellor.
He must have seen me and followed me from the temple.
Palpatine chuckled as he shook his head, "I'm just helping her learn the truth about you and your kind."
"(y/n)," Windu got closer to me, "I'm sorry about this, but I don't know how far gone you are." He raised his hand and pressed two fingers to my temple before I could resist, "I'll deal with you later," And soon, everything went black as I fell backwards onto the carpeted floor.

Cal's POV
I walked down the hallway towards Chancellor Palpatines office with the note Master (y/l/n) left on her nightstand. I still had about ten minutes before I had to leave and meet Ahsoka, so I knew I had time to go and see them both.
I stepped up to his door, and instantly noticed that it was cracked open, which was unusual. I listened before entering and I could hear shouting coming from inside of the office. And one of the voices was from someone that I didn't expect to hear, "Windu." I uttered as I pushed open the door and ran inside towards the shouting.
I was immediately hit by a gust of cold wind coming from the shattered window. In front of it laid Palpatine begging for his life as Master Windu stood over him; his lightsaber aimed at the mans now distorted face, "Cal, please help me. He's trying to kill me."
"Don't listen to him Cal, he's not who he says he is!" Windu shouted without breaking his eye contact from the helpless man on the floor.
Palpatine was staring right into my eyes as I stood frozen by what I was witnessing, I didn't understand why this was happening, I didn't know what to do, "He's lying Cal, look," Palpatine pointed to a spot a few feet from me and that's when I noticed my Master lying unconscious on the floor.
My eyes widened with worry as I quickly ran to her side and checked her pulse. I breathed out a sigh of relief when I could feel it, "Master can you hear me?" I tried shaking her to wake her up, but I got no response.
"Cal please-"
"He's going to kill me Cal and then he's going to kill her," The Chancellor shouted over the sound of the harsh winds, "Its been him all along, he's the one who has been tormenting her, you have to stop him!" He begged and I felt my body fill with rage at the thought of it being Windu who was the one who has been psychologically torturing my master for weeks.
"He's lying Cal," Windu finally turned his head and met my gaze, "Don't believe anything this traitor says." He tried to reason with me, stupidly.
It was him, that I didn't believe a single word from, why should I? "The only traitor I see is you Mace." I stood up from (y/n)'s unconscious body and rested my hand on my hilt, "Let. Him. Go." It doesn't even surprise me that it was him this whole time, it wouldn't even surprise me if more of the council were in on it; like they were with me..
Mace gave me a look of disappointment as he shook his head and turned to glare back at Palpatine, "I can't do that, I'm sorry you don't believe me and I'm sorry for what I did to you. But this man is too dangerous to be left alive." He visibly tightened his grip on his lightsaber; so I tightened mine and prepared to defend him and my Master.
"Please, don't kill me." Palpatine continued to helplesslybeg for his life.
"I said let him go!" I shouted in anger when I saw that Windu wasn't loosening his stance.
But he ignored me and lifted his weapon; ready to strike down the pleading man in the floor in front of him, "Please, don't!"
"No!"
The next events went by so fast, one second I was lunging forward ready to take him down.
But I paused when I was beaten to it.
My master was on her feet with her lightsaber in her hand as she quickly swung it to stop Windu's attack, but she over shot and sliced through his hand instead of parrying his lightsaber.
Windu screamed in pain while electricity suddenly shot through Palpatines hands, hitting the man I loathe, and my eyes widened in surprise, "Power!" He yelled while Windu jolted in place from the attack before being thrown backwards out of the window; plummeting to his death.
My master dropped her lightsaber as she backed away and fell to the floor, "What have I done?"
Anakin's POV
I sat in the ship as Rex was bandaging my wound for me. I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my chest that felt like my heart was tightening uncomfortably. I can tell that Obi-Wan felt the same as me, when his face grimaced and he brought his hand up to his chest. Then he looked at me, "Did you feel that?" He asked as he dropped his hand back down with a nervous look in his eyes.
I nodded as the pain dulled away from me, "Who do you think that was?"
He shook his head as Hunter lowered down his ship to drop us off near our own, "I don't know, but I have a bad feeling."
"Agreed, we need to get home." There was nothing left for us here anymore anyone since Techs laptop ended up getting damaged in the battle. I had nothing now, but I didn't seem to care since the only thing on my mind was making sure my girl was okay.
(y/n)'s POV
Cal dropped down next to me and hugged me for comfort as I stared horrified at the broken window, "I didn't mean to." I didn't intend for him to die, I was only trying to stop him from killing the only man that could help me save my family.
"You did what you had to," My father stood up from the floor, Cal lifted his head and was eyeing him with fear and confusion, "It was him my daughter, the one who has been in your mind, he admitted it to me." He bent down and grabbed my arm that held the bracelet. He then removed it without much effort, which surprised me since I believed I need a key.
I felt the force finally returning to me and I was scared, scared to hear the voices again. But to my surprise and relief, I still heard nothing, it was peacefully silent.
Maybe it really was Windu.. that wouldn't surprise me given everything he's done
"Daughter?" Cal asked confused from next to me and I nodded to him, before turning my attention back to Palpatine.
"Yes Cal, she is my daughter, that is how you should know that you can trust me," He stood up from in front of me and stared down at us with a grin, "Become my apprentices, leave the corrupted Jedi and come with me; learn to use the dark side of the force."
I swallowed nervously as all my thoughts swarmed on Anakin, I have to do this for him, "I will do whatever you ask, just help me save the ones I love."
His grin grew wider, "Good," Then he turned his attention to Cal, "And what about you Cal Kestis? Join me and I will help you keep the girl you love safe from any harm; including the corruption of the Jedi. Who knows what else they have planned after what they've done to you both."
Cal looked at me and I already knew what his answer was by the glint in his eyes, "I will go wherever you go," He whispered to me before looking back up to Palpatine, "I will also do whatever you ask, as long as you help me keep the girl I love safe."
Palpatine nodded, falsely accepting their requests, knowing he would never have to keep up his end of the deal, "Good, we will do great things together, achieve many things." He stepped closer to us as we both gazed up at him with watery eyes, "Henceforth you shall be knows as Darth.. Lilith." I stood up after being given my new name, a name that strangely sounded familiar to me. He then turned his golden gaze to my now former Padawan, "And you Cal, shall be known as Darth.. Sin." Cal then stood up after me with a heavy breath. He was scared but determined, just as I was.
(Lilith: mother of all evil. Sin: Son)
"Thank you Master." We both responded simultaneously.
"As soon as the Jedi find out what has transpired here, they will try to kill us." He growled menacingly as he walked around the office until he was next to his desk again, "They have been against you both from the beginning and you will now be seen as their enemy." He grabbed his hood and covered his now distorted fac, all that can be seen is a deathly yellow glow, "The senate has seen the corruption of the Jedi and they've been rethinking their place in the republic for a long time, and I believe now is the time for us to act." He banged his fist against the table; causing Cal to jump in surprise.
I however, remained calm; knowing for who and why I was doing this, "I agree, but I wish for no harm to come upon Tano, Kenobi, Yoda, or Skywalker." They are the only reasons why I am doing this, to keep them all safe..
He nodded, lying to her face, "Of course my daughter, they will all remain safe. And once you both have done what I have asked of you, I will give you the knowledge that I have promised."
Cal and I both bowed to him, the man who could give me everything I need for a happy and safe life with the ones I love, "Yes Master."
Anakins POV
"Something doesn't feel right," I gripped my chest while mine and Obi-Wans ship lifted up to take us back home. Fives was the one flying while Rex was still trying to place more cream on my burn.
Obi-Wan stroked his beard in thought, everything I was feeling, he was feeling too, "It feels like there has been a shift in the force."
Not to mention we felt a death a few minutes ago and we still don't know who it was, "I have to call (y/n), I need to make sure she's okay." I quickly pulled out the holopad and placed a call to my one and only priority, but my chest ached painfully when she wasn't answering.
"She could be sleeping General," Cody tried to comfort me while he took a seat next to Rex; who had officially given up on helping me.
I nodded as I picked up the pad to put it away, he could be right. She'll be fine, she was safe at home when I left her under the care of three people I could trust with my own life.
I walked over to the cockpit to look out of the window at the Kamino waters that were s crashing against each other. The rain was sprawling as well, creating a strangely beautiful view, (y/n) would have loved this, "It is pretty beautiful when I don't have to smell the old fishy air." I chuckled to myself and I was hoping to annoy Rex and Cody since they took great pride in their home. But when I looked at them, they appeared to be focused on a holographic image in their hands.
I looked away from them and back out to the waters until I heard the sound of a blaster clicking behind me, I turned around and my eyes widened, "Rex, what are you doing?" I grabbed the handle of my lightsaber as my trusted friend held his weapon straight in-between my eyes.
"Cody?" Obi-Wan sounded just as confused as I was while his captain aimed his weapon towards him as well.
