(y/n)'s POV
After Master Yoda left, it was me and the Padawans alone again, "Are you okay Cal?" I gained his attention since he spent the past five minutes starting at the wall; lost in his own thoughts. I'm pretty sure I already know what they're about too. I wish there was something that I could do to help him, well maybe there is.. there is one powerful person I know that might be able to throw Windu in a cell for me.
Cal turned his head to look at me and gave me a fake smile with a nod, "I'm great." He pushed himself off of the wall and walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind him a little forcefully.
I sighed as I looked to Ahsoka who was eyeing the door with worry, "He needs a distraction from this temple," I told her as I opened up the nightstand drawer and pulled out a piece of paper to write something down for her, "Here." I handed it to her when I was finished.
She eyed the paper with furrowed brows, "What is this?"
"Where you're going to take him for your first date," I informed her as I threw the pen back into the drawer and closed it, which was stupid since I'm going to have to take it back out soon, "Get him out of here for awhile, and give him something to smile about, he needs it."
She looked excited, but also nervous, "But what about you?"
I waved my hand in dismissal, "I'll be fine, Anakin should be calling me soon and then I plan to pop a few of his sleeping pills to get the rest he keeps saying I need." With a locked door of course, everyone I trust will no longer be here so there's no point in keeping it open.
She looked from me to the paper as she bit her lip hesitantly, "Are you sure about this?" She asked with a sigh, meeting my gaze again with uncertainty in her eyes.
I nodded with an encouraging smile, "Yes, go now and set up something nice, like a picnic," I was starting to sound more excited for this than her and I'm not even going, but I just love dates. Anakin needs to take me on more, "Get him some watermelon, he's obsessed with it. And I'll tell him to meet you there in about forty minutes."
"Are you sure he'll come?" She asked nervously as she stood up from the bed; placing the coordinates in her pocket.
It's a place that Anakin and I used to sneak off to when we were young teenagers, a little younger than these two now. It's just a plain field with flowers and a little stream not too far from it. It's a peaceful place, we used to stargaze there for hours until we saw the sun rise. And it's a decent distance away from the temple, so hopefully all his thoughts can be cleared and he can focus on his happiness with her.
I chuckled at her nervousness, I can tell she's fallen for him pretty hard; young love is a beautiful thing, "I'm positive he'll go, especially if I tell him he has no choice." I shrugged before shooing her away. Cal can come back out any second now and I want her gone before then so he doesn't ask questions. I want him to be surprised, "Now go and take some of Anakin's credits with you." I gestured to my nightstand; and with an excited smile on her face, she grabbed the credits and rushed out of the door.
With not even a second to spare, Cal walked out of the bathroom and he stopped in his place with knitted brows as he gazed around the room, "Where did she go; I didn't upset her did I?" He asked with worried eyes.
I shook my head quickly, "No, you didn't," I assured him and he relaxed, "But what you need to do, is go to your room and put on something nice." I clapped my hands together with enthusiasm.
He scrunched his face in confusion, "Why?"
I smiled as I got my pen and paper back out and wrote out the coordinates once again for him this time, "Go here in about forty minutes, there's a surprise for you."
His confused face fell and was replaced by realization. Then he smiled as he reached for the paper, "Forty minutes? That's awfully specific."
I shrugged, "She needs time to get ready."
He nodded with a glint of joy in his eyes as he folded the paper and placed it in his pocket, "Can I ask what this is all for?"
"You'll find out when you get there. Now go change and come back to me for confirmation." I smiled with excitement, like I was sending my own son on a date for the first time.
"All I have are Jedi robes though," Now he was starting to look nervous and I absolutely adored it. It makes me wish that Anakin and I had this at their age, but he was too busy being a bitch over nothing.
I gestured to my nightstand, "Take Anakin's credits and go get yourself something, you have time don't worry." I assured him, there was a clothing place not that far from the temple, he can go and be back in less than twenty minutes if he's quick.
He chuckled as he grabbed the last of the credits that were left, "You know he hates when you give his money away."
I shrugged with a chuckle of my own, "Well, he shouldn't have left me in charge of it then." That was his mistake. Besides when I tell him what it was for, I doubt he would even mind.
His smile fell slightly as he sighed, "I know you two are tying to distract me from Windu," He glanced over to me as he placed the credits in his pocket. I got a little nervous thinking this would upset him, but his response was quite the opposite, "And I love you both for it." He smiled again as he bent down and kissed my cheek, "I know I've already said this, but I'm so happy you're back. You are the closest thing to a mother that I have and I don't know what I would do without you."
I smiled as I blinked away a few joy filled tears, his words tugged on my heart strings. It's amazing how on day one, I tried sending him away in a box, and now, I'd do just about anything for this kid, "You'll never have to be without me Cal, I promise."
He stood up straight as he got ready to leave, "I know," He opened the door to leave, but not before stopping and giving me one last smile, "I promise too."

Anakin's POV
We finally landed on Kamino and it was a lot quicker than I expected. Rex said he knew a quicker route that he learned from constantly going back and forth, and he wasn't kidding. I only had about thirty minutes until I had to call (y/n).
Hopefully I can get what I need quick and leave so I can be back to her in less than an hour. I hated being away from her and this uncomfortable feeling in my chest has ceased to go away. The whole ride over here I felt uneasy, but I couldn't understand why or where it was coming from.
"Ah home sweet home," Rex walked off of the ramp and inhaled the Kamino air that smelled like salt water and old fish, "Beautiful." He smiled with an exhale.
I chuckled as I shook my head, "Yeah so beautiful," I mumbled as we walked across the platform to be greeted by Tech and Hunter, "It's nice to see you two, where's the rest of your team?" I looked behind them at the empty space.
"Cafeteria, as usual." Hunter chuckled as they both nudged for us to follow them.
I walked alongside them while occasionally getting salutes from clones who were casually walking by, "So what was so urgent that I needed to come here personally?" I asked in a low tone so no one could eavesdrop.
Tech immediately placed a finger to his lips, signaling me to remain silent about the matter. Then he tapped his ear and pointed outwards; which usually meant anyone can be listening.
I nodded to show I understood and we all continued to walk in silence, with an occasional curious beep from Artooo who has never been here before, "Yes I am aware that their necks are unusually long Artoo, now don't be rude." I chuckled lightly with a head shake when he beeped an apology.
Tech and Hunter guided us into their chambers and closed the door behind us. Hunter quickly took a device and roamed it around the room for a few moments, before nodding and putting it away, "Okay men, it's safe to talk in here."
"Alright, so what have you found," Obi-Wan spoke as he, Rex, and I all stepped towards Tech and his computer.
Tech sighed as he began typing on the keys, "I've found quite a few things, some not too bad, some pretty bad, and some are down right disturbing." He tapped aggressively on a key and a room came into a view, a room I so perfectly recognized.
"Anakin isn't that-"
"(y/n)'s room, yes." I could feel the anger in me boiling, he's been fucking watching her? "Is this live right now?"
He shook his head, "No since this is just a downloadable, I have nothing live, I only have passed recordings." He opened up something that showed multiple folders with dates.
"Let me see that one." I pointed to one and it started with (y/n) walking into her bathroom and closing the door. Not long after, I watched a hooded person enter her room and place their hand on her bathroom door. Seconds later they turned and walked away, keeping their face hidden, "Fast forward." He did as I said and moved the recording until I saw Captain Max appear in the room slowly looking for her, he then reluctantly opened the bathroom door and soon was sprinting out of there with her unconscious body in his grasp; covered in a shower curtain.
It was the day she fell and hit her head against the sink. I knew it was deliberate, she's never been that clumsy.
"Why the fuck does he have a camera?" I growled through gritted teeth as my grip tightened on the table.
"For visual," Obi-Wan spoke the obvious, it wasn't until he continued when I finally understood what he really meant, "Force illusions require you to see where your illusion is going. This is how he can do it without having to actually be in the room." His eyes were wide like he was finally piecing everything together, "Anakin you were right, it is Palpatine."
I nodded with a heavy sigh as I tried to compose myself, "I know I am, but I still need more on him, all this does is make him look like a fucking pervert." I gestured to the screen that was now on a video of her falling off of her bed and backing away in fear.
She quickly lifted her lightsaber to add light before standing up and turning her actual light on, that's when I saw it too. There was something going into her bathroom, after her eyes locked on it, she turned and sprinted out of the room; smart I would have done the same, that thing looked creepy. Then I soon appeared in there with her and checked around for her.
That's the day she ran out and knocked me down in the hallway, she looked completely terrified, and now I see why, I think that was even the night she slept in my room for the first time.
"What else is there Tech, I know this can't just be it." I sighed as I leaned against the table and kept my gaze on the screen as he shifted through a few folders.
"Well there is a camera in your room as well," He informed me and my eyes widened, maybe he is a fucking pervert, "I didn't see anything I swear."
"That's a lie, we saw a lot of things." I recognized Wreckers voice as he entered the room with Crosshair, "I salute you General." Wrecker wrapped his arm around my shoulder and I pinched the bridge of my nose in annoyance while wishing I could just go drown in the Kamino oceans right now.
"Just continue Tech before I break your computer," I sighed dropping my hand down.
He nodded with a sheepish grin, "There's something else that worries me, but there's not a whole lot of information on it. Like he purposely kept some things out in case someone like us got into his drive. It's about an order-" He tapped on something and the screen turned black, but that's not all. The entire room turned black while all the lights shut off completely.
Then the emergency red lights flashed as an alarm blared into our ears, "Fuck, why now?" I groaned in irritation as I grabbed my lightsaber from my belt.
These flashing warning lights only mean one thing, Kamino was under attack.

(y/n)'s POV
He was late, and I was panicking.
I even tried calling him myself and I got nothing. I tried contacting Rex, Obi-Wan, Artoo, even the actual fucking Kamonians, I didn't get a single answer.
He could have drowned, I saw him drown. He could've been murdered, I've seen him get murdered in so many ways.
I ran my hands through my hair as I did my best to remain calm and think of rational explanations as to why he would be late.
Dead.
No stop, I need to think positive. Maybe the signals are jammed or, maybe he just got too busy and he couldn't reach the communicator. He did say he was doing a drill after all, I just need to be calm.
I breathed out a heavy sigh until I heard the sound of a knock on my door. I practically dove off of my bed to answer it since I had it locked and I almost tripped countless times. I was hoping that it was somehow Anakin and that's why he wasn't answering me; he was surprising me by being early.
I opened the door with enthusiasm but my smile fell slightly when I realized it wasn't him, "Hello my dear I've been meaning to come and see you," The Chancellor looked down at me with a wide grin, "You look disappointed, is this not a good time?" He asked sweetly with a head tilt.
"Oh no, I'm sorry, I just thought you were someone else," I moved to the side to let him in, "Please come in, it's really good to see you."
He nodded thanking me for inviting him in as he stepped inside. I closed the door behind him and walked over to me bed where I sat on the edge with a sad sigh, "You don't look well my dear, can I ask what happened to you?" He sat next to me and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"It's a long story Chancellor," I dropped my head in my hands, not being able to get my mind off of Anakin. But I guess I could use the distraction, "So do you have time?" I looked up to him from my hands.
He nodded with a wrinkly smile, "I always have time for my favorite Jedi."
I smiled, realizing how much I actually missed this man. So I told him everything that happened when I was taken away. How I had to watch everyone I love die on repeat for six weeks straight, eating only one small meal a day, and never getting any sleep because my own screams kept me awake. I even went on to tell him about the Councils decision to keep Windu and how it affected Cal. I guess I was hoping I could convince him to take matters into his own hands.
He looked horrified by what I was telling him and his hand on my shoulder only tightened, "I am so sorry you went through that. I can't believe anyone could be so cruel, and to you of all people." He sighed heavily as he dropped his hand down, "And for the Council to do something like that, it's no wonder your faith in them has been shaken."
I nodded; feeling good that I can talk to someone who understands me. I know Anakin does, but he's not here right now, "Cal is heart broken, and it makes me wonder what other horrible things they've looked past. Or what they could even be capable of." My mind immediately went to everything I went through and I glanced down at my bracelet.
"It wouldn't surprise me if one of them is responsible for everything you've been through my dear." Palpatine pulled me from my thoughts as his finger touched the bracelet like he was admiring it with me, "I'm afraid they've become corrupt."
Corrupt.
That's a fitting word for them.
I nodded as I wiped my tears away, "I don't disagree, I just want it all to end. I don't want to be afraid anymore. I want whoever was hurting me to be found and pay for what they've done, and I want Windu to face an actual punishment for what he did to my Cal." I clenched my fists in anger, "I also never want to have to see the ones I love die in front of my eyes ever again." There was no point in wiping my tears away anymore, they were pouring from my eyes as my heart ached, and Anakin being late wasn't helping either. I really wish he was here with me right now, "I can't handle it, it's haunting me."
"You know, that reminds of a story I once heard," Palpatine finally spoke after a minute of silence and caught my attention. I looked up to him with watery eyes and he was staring off at the wall in thought, then his gaze shifted back to me. He slowly smiled, "Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?"
