4-Stupid
It's been a week since Anakin and I had our argument in the hallway. Usually we would still at least talk, granted it was always insults, but at least we talked. Now it's nothing. It's pure silence whenever the other enters the room. It's not even like I haven't tried talking either, I did, once. I wanted to know what he meant when he called me a heart breaking hypocrite. But of course, in return, all I got was a death glare. Then, he proceeded to walk away from me.
So I never tried again.
"Something more important on your mind?" Master Windu broke me out of my thoughts.
I sighed, he was trying to give me my mission assignment and I wasn't even listening to him, "I'm sorry Master, I'm fine. Please continue with the mission details."
He nodded, "Alright, you'll be taking your battalion to Felucia. There you will be dealing with the separatist General Kalani and his droid army," I rolled my eyes, not this droid again. "We trust you will take out the threat."
I stood up from the chair, "You can count on me Master Windu." I bowed respectfully, "I'll leave within the next hour." I turned to leave the briefing room to go get my squad ready.
"Oh and General (y/l/n)," He called to me and I turned back around, "Do be careful, we just lost General Luminara. We don't need to lose anyone else." He eyed me sadly, I felt kind of bad for him. He was a hard man to deal with half of the time, but he was good friends with Luminara. Her death devastated him.
I nodded, "I'll do my best Master." I smiled and left the room to prepare myself for the mission ahead.

"Are you ready troopers?" I asked my battalion as we inched closer to Felucia, I could already see the smoke from the damage the droids were creating.
"Yes General!"
"Born ready, literally."
"Those clankers won't know what hit 'em."
"I've been itching for a fight."
I smiled at the excited talks of my men behind me, "Captain Max, I'm going for the big one." I smirked as I eyed the massive walking droid that was tearing down the surrounding plants. And of course on top, was General Kalani. Oh how I can't wait to slice that droid General in half. He's been quite a nuisance lately.
Captain Max came up next to me, "Wouldn't expect anything less of you General."
As soon as our ship was at a good enough distance, I grabbed my lightsaber from my belt and got ready to jump, "Let's go men!" I shouted as I jumped from the ship and landed with ease as I ignited my purple blade. My men dropped down not far behind me and we engaged in the battle.
I was deflecting shots left and right, as well as slicing through the droids like butter. All with Captain Max by my side as we made our way to General Kalani, "General your three!" Max shouted and I twisted to my right to deflect the blast that was headed my way, it bounced back and knocked down the droid that shot it, "Your ten!" He yelled again and I spun to slice the head off of another droid. I know I'm biased, but he is definitely the best Captain in the army. Other than Rex, he was a good man. Sadly Skywalker snatched him up before I could.
"I'm going up there Captain." I saluted to him as I jumped up. I heard him try and protest, but I was already gone before the words left his mouth. I landed on the mechanical walker and killed the six droids on top, all except the General. Save the best for last right? "I have been waiting for this day." I smiled as I twisted my blade, the droid General was watching all of my movements, "Any last words? If you're capable of that kind of thing." I shrugged, I don't know how he's programmed.
"Behind you." He spoke in his robotic voice, I turned around quickly to only be met with nothing.
Oh I'm so stupid.
A burning pain hit the back of my shoulder. I turned around to deflect anymore shots, but I wasn't quick enough. One to the abdomen. One to the collar bone. Another missed me, but only because I had stepped backwards and fell fifteen feet to the ground.
Captain Max's POV
I watched as she fell to the ground, "The General is down! Push harder; I'm going to get to her!" I commanded the men. I gestured for a few of them to follow me. I shot at multiple clankers to get them out of my way. I was beginning to panic when I noticed from afar that she wasn't moving in the slightest, I hope she isn't dead. It would devastate the entire battalion. She isn't like most of the other Generals, she doesn't make us feel like were expendable.
I finally reached her and the men around me kept the droids at bay. From what I could tell she was shot twice, no three times. She was still breathing but it was shallow and weak, "You should have waited for me General." I sighed as I picked her up bridal style, "Alright men, I need you to watch my six, I have to get her to the ship."
"Yes sir!" They responded to me.
I got to the ship easily enough, I was only blasted to the shoulder once, but it didn't break the armor. I set her on the floor and looked out at the battle ahead of me. We had the upper hand, but she wasn't going to last that long. I had to get her out of here.
"Troopers," I spoke the clones that helped me bring her to safety, "She won't last long, I'm going to get her out of here. You are all in charge now, I have the upmost faith in you. I will also try to get more help sent to you."
They all saluted me, "We will not let you or the General down." One of them spoke and they all turned back to the fight.
I turned to the pilot of the ship, "We need to get to the temple, fast."

"We need a medic, now!" I shouted as I carried the General down the ramp.
"What happened?" General Kenobi ran over to me and he eyed General (y/l/n) with worry.
I sighed, "She got ahead of herself sir. She's been shot by General Kalani." A medical gurney, that was usually on stand by for things like this, rolled in and I placed her on the bed gently. They began working on her immediately as they rushed away, I wanted to follow them, but I needed to speak with General Kenobi first, "We may need to send assistance, they are without a General and a Captain. I'd like to request to stay here, the men would never forgive me if I didn't stay with our General."
He nodded in understanding, he was another one of the few Generals that truly cared about us clones, "I'll send Anakin and some of the 501st to help out your men." He pulled up his comlink, "Anakin get to the shipping dock, now." He sighed as he hung up, "I'm going to have to go inform Master Yoda about this, he's going to be very upset. How did this even happen?" He rubbed his hands through his hair. Ever since General Luminara passed away a few weeks ago, many of the Jedi have been on edge. They finally realized exactly how much they can lose in this war.
I shook my head, "She didn't wait for me, she jumped in head first without back up."
"Always on the move those two." He mumbled.
"You called?" General Skywalker came up from the side of us, looking annoyed.
General Kenobi nodded to him, "Yes I need you to take a handful of men and back up the 419th on Felucia."
He rolled his eyes, "I am not helping her."
Ah yes the famous rivalry between those two, I wonder how he's going to react right now. I might get a sense of what I think he really feels for her. Not that I'd ever say it out loud, but us clones have our theories and our wagers..
General Kenobi shook his head, "That won't be a problem Anakin, she's not there."
He snorted as he crossed his arms over his chest, "What did she do; break a nail and had to leave?" He smirked at his own joke.
"No sir," I spoke up, "She was shot by General Kalani. She's in the medical bay now fighting for her life." I informed him with a sigh, his smirk instantly fell.
"Oh." Was all he said and he looked away towards the exit, the same direction she was taken in. I couldn't tell exactly how he was feeling, he looked emotionless.
"So get ready, they need you. I'm going to go inform Master Yoda before someone else does. I'd rather him hear it from me." General Kenobi sighed as he walked away, towards the exit.
It's time for me to go and check on her, "I'll see you later General Skywalker." I saluted him before trying to walk away, but he stopped me by stepping in my path.
"What happened Captain Max?" He asked as he looked into my eyes with a serious expression.
I sighed, I really didn't want to explain again, "She ran ahead of us to get to General Kalani. Next thing I know, she was falling after being shot."
He brought his hand up and rubbed his finger along his chin, as if he was in thought, "And how was her condition when you got to her?" He finally asked after a small silence. I'm starting to feel like I'm going to win a wager.
I shook my head, "Not good sir, it was three shots and one barely missed her heart."
He nodded with a face I couldn't read, "Alright thanks," He turned around and walked away, "Why would you do that, you fucking moron." I heard him mumble under his breath.
~*~•~*~
2nd person POV
You laid there in the hospital, in a medically induced coma. It's been three days since the battle of Felucia. Your battalion, along with the 501st, were successful. Along with the death of General Kalani, who was successfully taken down by Anakin. That was going to piss you off when you woke up, it was you who always wanted to end that droid.
Master Yoda comes by often to see you, although he doesn't stay too long. Seeing you in such a fragile condition upsets him. You're lucky to not see the way he looks at you when he comes in. His ears always dropped down, kind of like a sad puppy. He wishes that you would have been more careful.
Anakin comes by a few times everyday, but he never comes in the room. He usually stands in the doorway, while he twirls your lightsaber in his hand. One of your troopers had found it on the ground near where you landed and gave it to him. He was holding onto it until you woke up. He only ever stayed for a few minutes, before leaving to return to his duties.
Your condition got better as the days passed. You were lucky to be alive. Not only was your heart barely missed, but the fall alone caused severe head trauma. They were worried about how bad the damage was, especially on your memory. But they couldn't know just yet, not until it was time to wake up.
Which leads you to day six, the day you finally opened your eyes.
(a/n Sorrry if this one was boring but I wanted to introduce your battalion a little bit and also your Captain! Plus this chapter plays a bit of an important roll in the future. You'll understand what I mean when the time comes hehe.💕 Please vote and comment your thoughts!)
