33-Gut Feeling
(Tw:Seizure)
Anakin's POV
I was an asshole, to say the least.
I sighed as I sat next to the little Togruta girl on the garden floor, (y/n)'s words have been in my head all day, and she was right about everything; I just hope they both can forgive me for the way I acted, "Listen little one," I gained Ahsoka's attention and she looked up to me with her sad blue eyes, "I'm really sorry that I haven't been treating you fairly. It's not personal, I just don't believe this war is a safe place for a child. I've lost a lot of good people," I sighed as I thought of the Jedi and the clones that I had to watch die, I was always too late, "I guess I'm just afraid that I'll fail you and you'll lose your life too." I admitted what I was really feeling; I already have a hard enough time keeping myself alive.
She nodded to show that she understood my side. Although it still doesn't excuse my behavior, I never should have talked to (y/n) that way and I never should have been so unfair to this kid. "I understand that, but you're the Anakin Skywalker, I was so excited to be appointed to you and I think if I'm going to be safe out there with anyone; it's you." She shrugged with a little smile. Now I feel like even more of a dick, she was excited to meet me and I made her feel unwanted.
I nudged her on the shoulder, "I'm so sorry. Do you think you can forgive me and we can start over snips? I promise to be less of a jerk." I smiled warmly at her. She is a good kid after all, she's intelligent, skilled, and a bit reckless; like me. I think with the proper guidance, she'll be an amazing Jedi.
She narrowed her eyes at the nickname I gave her because of her snippy attitude earlier; which was still my fault, "If you're going to call me that, then you can't get mad when I call you Skyguy."
I chuckled with a nod, "Okay, I can live with that." I held my hand out to her; for her to hopefully accept.
She smiled brightly and took it, "Then I forgive you Skyguy." She put a lot of emphasis on the name and I playfully rolled my eyes.
Our moment was almost instantly broken by the sound of robotic screeching and a heavy metal object hitting aggressively against my leg, "Ow; R2!" I scolded my droid who just ran straight into me, there's no way there isn't going to be a bruise. Instead of an apology; he beeped frantically and my stomach dropped as my eyes widened, "Oh my god." I stood up quickly and began running away.
"What's going on?" Ahsoka shouted as she stood up and followed me while I sprinted down the hallway. I didn't give her a response; I was too busy panicking with a raising heart.
Please, please be okay. I begged as I rushed into my fiancé's room and saw her laying on the floor; shaking violently, "No no no, please no." I ran to her and turned her on her side as foam came from her mouth, "Shes seizing, call someone now Ahsoka!" I demanded her in a panic and she nodded quickly as she rushed away, "I'm so sorry baby, I'm here now okay? I'm right here." I placed my hand under her head to stop it from hitting against the floor.
Why the hell do things keep happening to her?
~*~•~*~
I sighed nervously as I ran my hands through my hair, "Please tell me she's going to be okay." I don't know what I would do if I lost her and the last interaction we had was a fight, a fight that was all my fault; I wouldn't be able to live myself.
The doctor nodded slowly, "Yes we have her stable, but what's troubling me is the high amount isoniazid on her system." He looked up from his chart to me with confusion in his eyes.
"Are those the pain killers she's been taking?" I asked; she's been popping those like they're candy because of her headaches.
He shook his head, "No, I gave her regular pain medication. Isoniazid isnt for pain, it's meant to treat TB, but if consumed in high amounts; it results in seizures, coma, and in worse cases death." My eyes widened and he held his hand out to stop me from panicking all over again, "Shes going to be just fine Skywalker, but I need you to bring me the bottle that she's been taking from. I have to see if her medications got mixed up somehow."
I nodded quickly, "Okay, I'll be right back." I turned around to rush back to her room and get the bottle, but I accidentally bumped into a little green man on the way.
"Running, why are you?" Master Yoda asked as he looked up to me curiously.
Oh shit. No one told him.
I sighed nervously, "Don't freak out, she's fine. But (y/n) had an accident and she's in room four-" He cut me off by waving his hand and I stumbled to the side as he quickly walked past me. That poor old man is going to have a heart attack one day if shit like this keeps happening to her. I continued on my way and got into her room. I went into her bathroom and the bottle was sitting open on the sink, so I grabbed it to take it back to the doctor.
~*~•~*~
"Is my Master going to be okay?" Cal asked sadly from (y/n)'s bedside. Poor kid has been coming in here almost every hour.
Master Yoda nodded, "Fine she will be, rest you need Cal. Bed you should go." Yoda grabbed onto Cal's shoulder to lead him out of the room. The boy took one last look at (y/n) before dropping his head down and leaving. It seems he's taken quite a liking to her in such a short amount of time; it's sweet.
"You should go to bed too Ahsoka." I looked at my padawan who hasn't left my side for the past hour.
She looked up to me and gave me an obedient nod, "Alright; Goodnight Skyguy."
"Goodnight Snips." I responded without looking away from my comatose fiancé. Why do things like this keep happening to her?
This can easily just be my paranoia, especially since I don't have a lot to go on, but I can't help but get the feeling that someone is doing this to her.
I sighed as I sat in the chair next to her bed, but who could it possibly be? I can't think of a single person that has a vendetta against her, except Padme, but I don't even think she's on this planet and that just wouldn't make sense. I need to talk to Obi-Wan about my theory, he can usually tell if I'm on to something or if I'm just being paranoid. But of course he's on Mandalore right now for a mission, yeah right, a mission for pus-,"Rest too, you should." Yoda's voice pulled me away from my thoughts.
I turned and gave him a sad smile, "I know, but I'm not leaving until she wakes up." So I can tell her how sorry I am for being the worst fiancé in the galaxy. I reached forward and placed my hand on hers, "Something is wrong Master Yoda, all of the things happening to her can't just be a coincidence. There has to be a line somewhere where they're no longer just freak accidents, but deliberate."
He hummed as he sat in a chair across from me, "Suggesting what are you?" He asked with curiosity.
I shrugged,"I'm not sure, it just feels like someone is doing all of this to her. I know I have no proof, but I have this gut feeling." I sighed in frustration as I squeezed her hand gently.
Before he could give me a response, the doctor came back into the room with the bottle in his hand, "These are not the pills I gave her for her headaches." He set the bottle down on a tray, "They're what I suspected; Isoniazid."
"Got mixed up they did?" Yoda asked as he called the bottle to his hand and eyed it.
The doctor nodded, "It appears so, but I don't see how it could have happened, I filled this bottle myself and handed it to her personally. It even has the name of the correct medication on the label." He sighed as he looked to be deep in thought, "I've never made a mistake like this before."
Then a thought sparked in my mind, "I don't think you did," I spoke up; gaining the attention of both of them, "Someone switched her medications."

(y/n)'s POV
"Anakin I told you it's fine." I giggled as he continued placing kiss after kiss on every part of my face.
He had his arms wrapped around me and he was laying on the hospital bed with me, the door was closed of course. "No it's not, I'm so sorry Princess," He kissed me again; this time on the lips, "I never should have talked to you that way ," He c leaned his forehead on mine, his sad blue eyes made my heart melt, "Especially since you were right, I was a complete dick and I promise, I made things right with Ahsoka." He informed me with a smile.
I smiled back, "I'm glad to hear that, she seems like a sweet kid." Then I remembered that I had one of my own, "Wait, where's Cal?"
He shrugged as he moved his forehead from mine and pulled on me to lay my head against his chest, "Last I saw, him and Ahsoka were lifting R2 up in the garden. He came to see you a few times you know." He ran his gloved hand through my hair, "He seems to really like you; admire you actually. I wouldn't be surprised if he requested for you to be his Master in the first place."
I chuckled, he's not wrong. Cal already told me that he asked for me personally. I found it to be annoying at first, but after spending some time with him and seeing the kind of kid he really is, now I think it's actually sweet, "Who wouldn't want me? I'm pretty awesome."
He laughed in response, "Not as awesome as-" We were interrupted when the door opened and I jumped; shoving Anakin off of the bed and he landed roughly onto the floor, "fuck!" He shouted in pain.
I looked down at him with fake surprise,"Oh my gods you should be more careful, the floor is slippery," I played it off as I looked up to the door, only to see Master Yoda and Master Kenobi, looking incredibly amused, "Oh it's just you two," I sighed with relief as I looked down to my fiancé who was scowling up at me, "Sorry babe." I shrugged.
"It's fine." He let out an annoyed sigh as he stood up and brushed himself off from the dirty marble floor.
Obi-Wan chuckled, "That's why you two should lock the door." He stepped in and Master Yoda followed behind him; closing the door behind them and locking it.
Anakin shrugged as he sat back down next to me and pulled me to lay on him once more, "I honestly thought I did."
"Feeling better are you?" Master Yoda walked over to my right hand side and hopped onto the chair with a smile.
I nodded with a smile in return, "Much better." I sighed with relief as I snuggle deeper into Anakin's embrace. Any anger I felt for him before was completely gone.
"How was your mission Obi-Wan?" Anakin asked and I could hear teasing in his tone.
His Master chuckled, "Eventful." He winked and I gave him a confused look as Anakin let out a fake gag, "Anyways, we should probably talk about what happened (y/n)." Obi-Wan stood at the foot of my bed as he crossed his arms over his chest.
I rolled my eyes, I already had to sit and listen to Anakin's crazy theory about someone sabotaging me; I don't want to sit through another one, "Look it was an honest mistake from the doctor, things like this happen. I'm not mad, all I want to do is forget about it and move on." I told them honestly, earning me an annoyed grunt from Anakin.
Obi-Wan nodded, "Understandable, but do you happen to remember anything before it happened?"
I shook my head, "I don't even remember going into my room." I sighed, everything after introducing Cal to the battalion is blurry.
Anakin pushed on me lightly so I could meet his eyes, "I know you think I'm insane, but please believe me when I say that I am confident; someone switched your medications."
I gazed into his eyes and I could see that he was dead serious. It's not something that I believe, but he feels so strongly about it, I kind of feel bad for dismissing it, "But who could it-" I was cut off by a knock on the door. Anakin stood up so we were no longer laying together.
"It's probably the Padawan's," He used the force to unlock and open the door; well it wasn't the Padawan's.
"Hello my dear," The Chancellor walked in, "I swear it's like everyday I get informed that you were somehow in an accident." He stood to my right, completely blocking Master Yoda's view of me, "How are you feeling?" He asked as he placed a hand to my forehead.
His touch was as cold as ice; causing me to flinch slightly, "I'm fine Chancellor." I smiled up at him.
"Thats wonderful to hear, I thought I could come in here to have lunch with you." He smiled warmly.
"She has plans with me Chancellor, maybe another time." Anakin's voice came out quick and more stern than usual. I turned my head to face him; noticing his slightly balled fists.
Anakin's POV
He eyed me up and down slowly; something about him was off to me, I don't care if everyone says he's just an old man, I don't like him. There was a time where I was decently close with this man, I even saw him as another mentor. But as I got older, a lot of things he would say or do, just didn't sit right with me. Not only that, but every time he stepped into a room, it almost felt like all the light was being sucked out. Although, I feel like I'm the only one who actually feels it since no one in here seemed fazed by his presence. (y/n) looked happy, Yoda look annoyed; but that's because the Chancellor rudely stepped in front of him, and Obi-Wan just seemed his normal calm self.
His clearly annoyed face dropped and he plastered on a smile; but it looked fake, "Of course Anakin, my apologies," He looked down at (y/n), "Call me as soon as you're out of this place and I'll take you to have your favorite."
She nodded with a small smile, "I will." It made my stomach turn to think of her being alone with him.
He turned and gave us all a nod; but his eyes lingered on me a little too long and I didn't like the cold stare he was giving me, it weirdly felt like a warning. Then he finally stepped out of the door and was gone; thus allowing the light in the room to return, "Rude that was." Master Yoda complained as he turned his gaze back to his daughter who was chuckling.
"I'm sure it was just an accident, you are small and easily missed." She joked with him; causing him to smile.
"Master!" I heard the shouts of the ginger who rushed into the room and he stood happily at (y/n)'s side, "I'm so happy that you're finally awake." He beamed down at her with glee.
(y/n) smiled up at the boy, "Thank you Cal, I hear you've been visiting me a lot." She spoke to him sweetly and I could tell she was starting to like him just as much as he likes her.
He nodded, "Every hour, even at night when I was supposed to be sleeping; Master Yoda yelled at me." He glanced awkwardly at the green man who was far away from him.
She turned to face her father figure with a scowl, "Don't yell at my Padawan." She scolded him before turning her attention back to the boy. They engaged in a conversation that I tuned out as I stepped over to Obi-Wan.
I'll worry about the Chancellor later, right now I had something a little more important to think about, "We need to find Dooku." I spoke to him in a low tone as I glanced back over to my fiancé who was watching Cal lift her cup of water with the force.
"Please don't drop that." She gave him nervous eyes.
He giggled, "I got this Master, just watch."
I turned my gaze back to Obi-Wan who was giving me a confused look, "How did we go from this to Dooku?"
I sighed, "Look, you all can think I'm just being crazy, but I believe in my heart that someone is after her. Do you remember when she was caught by General Grievous?" I asked and he nodded, "She told me that he told her that Dooku told him where she was; well how did Dooku know where she was?" I asked rhetorically with a shrug, "If I'm right, there's a traitor somewhere and this person could be the one who told Dooku she'd be there; so that's where I want to start." I informed him confidently as I crossed my arms over my chest. Even if he said no, I'd go and do this alone. I'm not taking any chances when it comes to my girl; she's too important to me.
After a few moments; he finally nodded, "Alright I trust you, let's find Dooku."
(a/n Hope you liked it my babies and thank you for all the support💕)
