(y/n)'s POV
"Are you ready?" I asked Anakin as we walked through the crowds at the festival. We arrived here a few hours ago and after getting in this extravagant dress Master Yoda gave me (picture above) we came here in search of Clovis, hoping their sources weren't lying when they said he would be here.

Anakin sighed from behind me from the inside of his helmet, "As ready as I'll ever be."

I nodded as I gently squeezed his shoulder, "Good, because I see Clovis straight ahead." I revealed and I heard him groan. I smiled slightly as I dropped my hand down, I know I shouldn't enjoy his jealousy, but I was. I walked near where Clovis was and pretended to bump into him, he turned to glare at me in annoyance, "Oh, I am so sorry." I put on my best sincere act. The moment his eyes landed on me, his annoyed glare fell into an interested smile.

"Don't apologize it's quite alright, I think I remember you from a party awhile back, Destiny right?" He asked as he held his hand out to me, which I graciously accepted.

I nodded politely as I shook his hand. "That's correct and you're Clovis right?" I gave him a sweet, somewhat flirty, smile.

He nodded as well, taking in my appearance, "I see I'm as memorable as you are darling." He gripped my hand and brought it to his mouth where he kissed it softly. I could already feel Anakin next to me getting annoyed, but he was doing his best to calm himself down. He knew it was all for a mission. Plus, him and I had a nice talk before coming here, just so I could help ease his nerves, "May I ask where that husband of yours is?" Clovis questioned with a raised brow as he gently dropped my hand down.

I rolled my eyes with a sigh, "I divorced him."

His eyes twinkled with delight, "Divorce? I have to say, he is one foolish man to let a beautiful woman like you out of his grasp." His eyes trailed me up and down where they, not so subtly, lingered on my cleavage, before he looked back up to meet my gaze.

I let off a small flirtatious chuckle as I placed my hand on his arm gently, he eyed it with satisfaction, "Oh Clovis you're too sweet." I heard Anakin sigh slightly from behind me, but not loud enough for anyone else to hear.

Clovis's eyes shifted from my hand on him to my eyes, "Would you like to enjoy the festival with me Destiny?" He asked stepping closer to me, his eyes gazed upon my face like I was a shining trophy.

I shook my head, I can't be too eager, "Oh no, I wouldn't want to impose." I dropped my hand down from his arm.

"Nonsense," He grasped my hand and intertwined his fingers with mine, ew his palm is sweaty, "It would be my honor to have a beautiful woman like you by my side for the night." Well, this turned out to be slightly easier than I thought. For lacking experience in the flirting department, I have to say, I'm doing pretty good.

I smiled up at him flirtatiously, "Then how could I possibly say no?" I squeezed his hand before turning to face Anakin. Even though I couldn't see his face, I have no doubt he was scowling at our joint hands, "Oh Clovis, this is my personal guard Hayden. I hope you don't mind, but he goes wherever I go." I turned back to Clovis and he held a look of annoyance, before he casually smiled at me again.

"Of course not, I understand a gorgeous woman like you needs her security, you probably have people crawling at your feet," He gripped my hand and pulled me through the crowd, "I just hope he doesn't follow you into the bedroom." He added as he turned back and gave me a little wink with a quiet chuckle. I heard Anakin choke on his own saliva from behind me; I laughed but as soon as he turned his face away from me, my eyes widened.

Oh fuck no.

I turned to Anakin and gave him an apologetic smile, this is gonna be difficult for us both.

2 hours later

It's been a few hours and the festival was dying down. Everything went smoothly, he bought me flowers and food as he talked to me about all the wonderful things that Scipio has to offer the galaxy. I smiled and nodded along like he had peaked my interest, but I knew everything he was saying was complete bullshit.

"I had an amazing time Clovis, you sure know how to show a girl a good time." I praised him as we walked along a small garden that was not too far from where the festival took place. Anakin was following silently behind us. Poor guy has had a rough night. Clovis didn't get too handsy or anything, but he definitely showered me with compliments all night and there was one incident where he touched my butt, but claimed it 'was an accident.'

Clovis smiled, proud of himself,  as he grabbed my hand once more to stop me from moving, "I never got to say how stunning you look in that dress, gold suits you extremely well."

I looked down at the beautiful material, I really did love this dress. I still have no idea where Master Yoda gets these from, "Thank you, you're too kind." I glanced back up at him as I fluttered my eyelashes, in an effort to dazzle him even more. Which I doubt I needed to try, he seemed infatuated fil rom the start.

He scanned my face for a moment before speaking again, "If you don't mind me asking, why did you get a divorce?" He questioned as he gestured to a water fountain next us. We both sat down and I looked at my reflection in the water as I ran my fingers along the cold liquid to disfigure my appearance. Anakin kept a few feet distance, but he was close enough to listen and keep an eye on me.

I sighed I set the flowers he had bought me onto my lap. I was already prepared for this question, although it brought up a bad memory, "I caught him cheating on me with a Senator." I rolled my eyes as I looked back up to meet his shocked gaze.

His eyes widened, "He cheated on you?" He asked with disbelief in his voice.

I nodded, "Yeah, I walked in with her on top of him," I know Anakin didn't actually cheat on me, but I felt that this experience would be a good one to use for this, since it would help me to show real pain. "That was it for me. I filed for divorce the next day." I continued on with my lie as I pulled my fingers from the cold water of the fountain and fiddled with the petals of the flowers in my lap.

He placed a hand on my thigh and I tried to hide how uncomfortable it made me, "I'm sorry you had to endure such pain," He leaned forward so his face was close to mine, I swallowed nervously at his close proximity. I know kissing is probably going to happen, I'm sure it was expected of me, but gods I wasn't prepared for this, "If you'd like, I can help you get back at him," He squeezed my thigh. My eyes widened slightly and I heard Anakin clear his throat uncomfortably, Clovis ignored it, "I saw how upset he was that day at the party when I gave you my attention, I guess I just happened to notice that you were too good for him." He smirked. Oh so this guy does not hold back at all, and how would Anakin not be good enough for me? He's a walking god. Never mind that's not the point, I can't let his words cloud my head, I need to focus.

I chuckled nervously as I placed my hand on his chest to push him further away,"Im flattered, but I don't wish to get back at him. I'm not that kind of girl," I grabbed his hand that was on my thigh and removed it, much to his dismay, "I prefer to be wined and dined like a proper lady."

He leaned back to give us some good distance and nodded in understanding, "That can be arranged, how would you like to have dinner with me tomorrow night at my place?"

Bingo, I smiled victoriously "I would love nothing more." Than to get into your house and see what secrets you have lying around.

He smiled with excitement as he grabbed my hand and pulled me to my feet, "I'll have a speeder pick you up around seven, where are you staying?" He asked and I hesitated for a moment, Anakin and I were currently stay on our republican ship a few miles out of this town. I couldn't exactly say that though. I had to think quickly.

"How about you meet me here tomorrow instead. We can have a nice walk back to your place and you can tell me more about this wonderful planet." I smiled brightly, hoping he would go for it.

And of course he did.

He nodded vigorously with a bright grin, "Of course, that sounds absolutely lovely." He leaned forward and placed a kiss on my cheek, "Until tomorrow Destiny." He smiled as he pulled away and I nodded politely back. Trying to hide the fact that I was going to burn my cheek with acid later.

"Until tomorrow."

"Give me those." Anakin growled as he took the flowers from my hand and threw them out of the ship before he closed the ramp.

I chuckled at his reaction as I began taking the dress off, "Come on, It wasn't that bad." I rolled my eyes as the dress fell to the floor and I stepped out of it to pick it up. Yeah I'm sure it sucked, but it didn't go as bad as I expected it to. At least he didn't kiss me on the lips or anything. For now..

He sighed as he turned to face me with his arms folded of his chest, "He wouldn't stop staring at your cleavage, he kissed you, and he touched your butt."

"One, he's a man, all men stare. Two, it was only on the cheek. And three, that was an accident, he bumped into it." I shrugged as I hung the dress up. It was so pretty, I'm sad I probably won't be able to wear it again. Now I'm gonna have to choose one for tomorrow, I wonder what other options Yoda put in here for me.

Anakin grabbed my hand to turn me around to face him, "On accident my ass. He did it on purpose, I watched him do it." He rolled his eyes as he continued to complain.

I sighed at his jealous nature, "Who cares if he did, none of it matters anyway. I'm engaged to you, so don't let anything he does or say get to you Ani," I placed my hand on his cheek and lifted myself to give him a small kiss, "Now give me your shirt, I want to wear it to bed." I demanded with a smile when I pulled away from him.

He nodded as he pulled the shirt over his head and handed it to me, "I'm sorry, I know what we're doing is important. But how would you feel if you had to watch me be all flirty with another girl?" He asked in a more sincere tone, instead of his earlier whiny one. I sighed in response, he had a point, I would lose my shit. I placed his shirt on and he eyed me with a look that was all too familiar, "You know, I know something that will make me forget all about today." He wrapped his arms around me and I pushed him away slightly.

"Anakin I'm too tired." I shook my head in amusement as I chuckled at his constant manly hormones, I can't keep up with him sometimes.

I turned away from him and headed towards our sleeping area. He followed right behind me, "You don't have to do anything, you can just lay there." He shrugged as I sat on the bed and I shot him an annoyed, but also amused, glare.

"No," I shook my head again as I moved the blanket so I could get under it, "Now get in your pajamas and cuddle me to sleep." I grabbed the blankets and pulled them over me.

He sighed, "Okay fine," He got into his sweatpants quickly and laid down next to me, he immediately opened his arms to invite me over. I leaned close and set my head on his chest and I sighed happily, "I love you Princess." He spoke softly as he kissed the top of my head.

I snuggled closer to feel his warmth and to listen to his heart beat, "I love you too Clovis."

"WHAT?"

I laughed against his chest as I hugged him tighter, "Kidding."
