(This is more of a lighthearted chapter that I wanted to do for fun and I really hope you like it♥️)

(y/n)'s POV
I was currently sitting on a bench in the Temple gardens, on my own, reading a book given to me by Master Yoda regarding the topic of psychosis. He thought it would be best if I read and understood my condition better. And knowing him, he's already read it and is gonna test me on it so it's not like I can pretend I read it. I actually have to.

Also, luckily I haven't had any episodes these past few weeks. Soon, I plan to talk to the doctor about stopping medication, fingers crossed all goes well once I stop.

A pair of fingers gripped the top of the book and pushed it down, revealing the face of my handsome boyfriend, "I was reading that." I raised my brow with a grin.

"And I'll let you get back to it, but first, I have something important to ask you." He sat comfortably across from me on the and I gave him my full attention, "So do you remember at the ball when I told you that my mom was getting married?" He questioned as he tilted his head to the side.

I nodded as I fully closed my book and set it on my lap, "Yes I remember."

A wide grin spread across his lips, "It's in two days, and I was wondering if you want to come with me. And before you say anything, yes I talked to Master Yoda and he approved it."

I chuckled in response, "Anakin Skywalker are we taking the big step where I officially meet your mother as your girlfriend?" Not just that, but I'm going to officially be meeting her in person. I've only ever had five second conversations with her through holograms and the last one was probably when I was fourteen.

He looked around the garden to make sure we were alone before reaching over and placing his hand on my cheek as he gazed lovingly into my eyes, "Only if you want to and I've already told her about us too. She was more than excited," He chuckled, "And apparently her and Cliegg had a bet." He sighed with a grin as he shook his head and dropped his hand down to his thigh.

I narrowed my eyes, "Is there a single person that didn't have a bet regarding our love life?" I folded my arms across my chest and leaned my back against the bench.

He rolled his eyes playfully as he reached his arm behind the bench and into a flower bush, "At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Count Dooku had a bet of his own." He pulled out a purple Campanula bellflower and eyed it as he twisted the stem between his fingers. It was same flower I was obsessed with stealing from here when we were kids. I always thought they were the prettiest ones in the whole garden.

I chuckled at his joke, "I swear, everyone knew we were in love with each other, besides us. Maybe if they would have told us something instead of placing bets, we would've been together sooner." I sighed with an eye roll.

He leaned forward and set the flower on top of my book and I gave it a smile, "Maybe, but you were worth the wait my Princess," He leaned more forward and kissed me quickly on the lips, I felt my cheeks go red in response, "So will you go?" He questioned with a pearly smile when he backed away, his blue eyes gazed softly into mine making me get butterflies.

How could I ever say no to him? I nodded, "I would be honored General Skywalker." I smirked as I called him the name he loved hearing from me.

He chuckled as he stood up from the bench, "I can't wait," He walked backwards away from me towards the door, "I'll let you get back to your book and no freaking out. She's going to love you." He spoke a little louder so I could hear him as he created distance between us.

I smiled to him as I twisted the flower stem in my fingers just as he did, before he turned to leave, "I won't freak out."

"Master I'm freaking out." His head continuously turned to follow me as I paced back and forth inside of his quarters, "This is going to be my first time actually being around her and having a real conversation with her. What if she doesn't like me?" I groaned with nervousness. I've never had a boyfriend before so I've never had to do this. How do I even talk to her?

"Impossible to not like you it is," He responded to help calm my nerves, "Beautiful on the inside as much as on the outside you are." He smiled and I stopped pacing to smile back at him. He's too sweet sometimes.

"You sure know how to charm a girl." I chuckled as I sat on the floor in front of him, "But what should I wear? I need to make a good impression." I don't want to show up in my plain black Jedi robes.

He waved his hand, "Always prepared for you I am," A dress came into view, "Got you this, as soon as Skywalker told me, I did."

I jumped back up immediately and eyed the beautiful champagne dress in front of me. How this little man has such great taste, I will never know.

I grabbed it and held it up, "This is perfect." I beamed with excitement, "Where do you find these dresses?" I looked over to him and I could see the proud smile that he held. He always enjoyed seeing my excitement whenever he gifted me with things.

He shrugged, "Tell you my secrets, I will not."

I chuckled as I walked over to him and knelt down to give him a hug, "I don't know what I would do without you, thank you." Ever since I've been here, I've always had him by my side. Even when things were difficult for me, he always brought a certain light into my life.

"Love you I do." He responded as he hugged me back.

"I love you too." I smiled into his shoulder.

"Are you sure you have everything?" Anakin asked sarcastically with a raised brow as he eyed the two bags I had with me.

I nodded as I set them down next to his feet, "Yes." I grinned with excitement to hide my nervousness.

He shook his head with a sigh, "All this stuff and you still forgot your medication."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "I didn't forget my medi-"

He cut me off when he pulled them out of his pocket and tossed them to me, "Yes you did." I caught them in my hand and I eyed them confused, I could have sworn I put these in one of my bags.

I glanced back up and gave him a sheepish grin, "Sorry."

"No worries Princess," He chuckled as he picked up my bags to carry them onto the ship, "Holy fuck what are you bringing? Its only for two days!" He exclaimed as he struggled to walk up the ramp with them.

I smiled happily as I passed him up the ramp, "I could go down my list of essentials Skywalker, but as a man, you would never understand." I shrugged, "Plus I have few things for you in there as well." I added with a wink when we were both in the cockpit.

He smirked as he dropped the bags down to the floor, "Is that so?" He strutted over to me and snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.

I nodded with a smirk, "Definitely, it's going to be fun ship ride."

He chuckled and was about to kiss me when we were interrupted by a familiar beeping. He pulled away from me to go to his droid, what a little cock blocker, "There you are buddy, did you bring it?" He asked R2 who beeped excitedly in response before opening his compartment and handing Anakin a small box.

"What is that?" I asked, trying to get a good look at it.

He turned around and showed me the two rings inside of the box, "Cliegg asked me to pick up the wedding rings, he had me get them made over here. Tatooine options aren't the greatest." He scrunched his face in disgust at the mention of the desert planet as he handed them back to R2 who placed them back where he originally had them, "Ready to go Princess?" He asked as he walked back over to me and placed a kiss on my cheek.

I nodded with a nervous breath, "Yes."

"We're here!" Anakin exclaimed as he finished landing the ship. He seemed so excited, while I on the other hand felt my stomach fall into my ass. He lowered the ramp and R2 was the first one to go down it, the little guy was curious about being on a new planet, "Come on Princess, don't be shy." He held his hand out for me to take and I quickly accepted it. He chuckled at my anxiousness and we walked out of the ship together.

We landed right next to the dunes where they lived and the woman that I recognized to be his mother, was already waiting with a smile on her face, "My little Ani!" She held her arms out and he immediately ran to her and pulled her into a hug, "You're so much taller than the last time I was able to hug you." She sighed happily as she held her son in her arms.

"I missed you so much mom." He pulled away from the hug and smiled down at her.

She reached up and pinched his cheek causing his grin to go wider, he truly loved his mom more than anything. It was a beautiful thing to see, "And I missed you," She responded before turning her attention to me with wide eyes, "Oh my gods (y/n)? You're all grown up and so beautiful." She came to me and pulled me in a tight hug that slightly knocked the wind out of me, "It's so good to see you."

Anakin was smiling at us from behind and I hugged the excited woman back, "Its good to see you too Shmi." I responded as I felt my nerves calm a little as I remembered just how sweet this woman was.

She pulled away slightly to look into my eyes, "My little Ani never stops talking about you, he's awfully smitten and I can definitely see why." She pinched my cheek just as she did to his and I blushed in response.

There were a string of beeps that pulled our attention away from each other, "Someone is jealous of not getting any attention." Anakin laughed as he placed a hand on his droid.

Shmi smiled at the droid, "And who might this be?"

"This is R2, (y/n) built him for me." Anakin responded proudly as he pat the droid.

She turned to me with a surprised look, "You built him, on your own?" I nodded in response and she chuckled, "You two are more alike than I thought, speaking of, 3PO will be happy to see you Anakin." She gestured for us to follow her inside, "You'll be coming with me and Beru (y/n), while Ani goes with Cliegg and Owen." She chirped happily, "We have a wedding to get ready for."
