20-Her
3rd Person POV
(y/n) was currently lying in a hospital bed, a place Master Yoda was tired of seeing her in. She had a small bleed in her brain from the impact of the fall, that the doctors had already taken care of. They said she would be okay, but as they said once before, they won't know the full extent until she wakes up. Which is why Master Yoda has yet to leave her side.
Anakin was across the galaxy, he was now on his way home to her after taking out a separatist fleet in record time. He had somewhere he wanted to be, he had someone that needed him right now. So in order to end the battle quick, he went in aggressively and with full force, the separatists never saw it coming. As dumb is it might have been, he was quick and reckless, almost losing a wing in the process. But he got the job done and now he's on his way back to her.
"You should eat something," Master Plo came in to the room to see Yoda still sitting by (y/n)'s bedside.
He shook his head as he looked up to him with sad eyes, "Leave her, I will not." Although Plo would never say it out loud out of respect, he was fully aware of the attachment Yoda held. But he himself has been found guilty of such things, many of the Jedi have. Love is a natural occurring feeling and can not be controlled, it's basic nature to love.
He sighed as he walked over and placed a hand on Yodas shoulder, "You know she'll be upset if she knew you weren't taking care of yourself because of her." Yoda looked up to him and sighed, he knew he was right, "Come on, we won't be gone long, she'll still be here when we come back." Yoda still didn't speak, he just nodded in agreement and got off of the chair. He gazed one more time at her comatose state before following Plo out of the room.
Not too long after they left, another person entered the room; a person with cruel intentions, a person who wants to break her soul. They had been waiting until she was alone. They walked up to her and placed a hand on her head, "Soon," a small devious smile crept on their lips. It was this person who has been inside of her mind, it was them making her see, feel, and hear things that weren't really there. They had plans for her, she was too good, too kind-hearted to follow them willingly, so they needed her mind to be twisted beyond repair in order to make her theirs.
For a long time this person studied the art of force illusions. They knew that (y/n) was far from stupid and incredibly strong. So they needed these illusions to look and feel as real as anything else, in order to frighten her and make her believe what she was really seeing. It was a tough challenge, but it will be worth it when they take back what is rightfully theirs; Her.

(y/n)'s POV
"Your name?"
"(y/n)."
"Do you know where you are?"
"The Jedi Temple."
"Do you know why you're here?"
I paused, I didn't know why I was here. I shook my head with a sigh, "No."
The doctor looked up from his chart with knitted brows, "Can you tell me the last thing you remember?"
I thought for a moment, "General Skywalker was informing me that he was leaving to engage a separatists fleet in the outer rim." I winced slightly after speaking, I had a splitting headache.
"Two days ago, that was." Master Yoda informed me from the chair next to my bed.
I turned to him, "Two days; Is he back?" I asked and he nodded, "Well where is he?"
"Resting he is, here all night he was." He smiled as he spoke, I don't know what I would have done if he wasn't so supportive of my forbidden relationship.
"Good," I responded, I'll see him when he wakes up, even though I really wanted to see him right now. But the poor guy was probably up all night with constant stress, "So what happened, how did I get hurt?" I asked them both.
"It seems you had fallen while taking a shower and hit your head." The doctor was the one to speak first. Then I had small flashes of a memory of me grabbing onto the shower curtain while falling. My head throbbed again as I remembered the moment my head smacked against the sink. I wonder what caused me to fall; I'm not usually that clumsy, "You'll be fine, you're lucky though. You were found quickly, so we were able to stop the damage from resulting into something worse."
I sighed with relief, "To who do I owe my life to?"
"Me of course." I recognized the voice of my Captain as he walked in the room, "And don't worry, I didn't see anything," He gestured to my body, "You were covered the whole time."
I chuckled, that's good to hear. I probably wouldn't ever be able to look him in the eyes again if he did, "Thank you Captain Max, I owe you."
He shook his head, "No you don't General, it is my job and an honor to have your back." He saluted me and I allowed a smile to grow on my lips. I got lucky with my battalion; they're a group of strong, wise, kind, and incredibly loyal men.
I was about to speak when my head started throbbing again, "Fuck." I complained as I rubbed my temples.
"Okay are you?" Yoda asked with concern.
"This is normal for the injury she received, here." The doctor began placing a syringe in my IV, "This will help with the pain."
I nodded to him as I dropped my hands down, "Thank you."
"Leave you two, talk to her alone I must." Yoda looed between the doctor and Max. They both nodded to him and left the room, Max gave me a wave before he was no longer in sight.
I turned to my Master, "Is everything okay?"
Instead of responding he put his hand in his cloak pocket and pulled something out. He set it on my bed near my leg and my eyes widened when I looked at the familiar bottle of anti-psychotics. He must have found them on my nightstand, damn it, "This, what is?" He looked from the bottle to me with an expression that was mixed with anger and worry.
"That's not mine." I lied stupidly out of fear.
He narrowed his eyes at me, "Your name this is." He reached forward and tapped on the label with his claw.
I sighed, "I didn't tell you because I didn't want to freak you. I promise I was going to eventually."
"Taking these why are you?" He asked as he placed both his hands on the top of his cane.
Well I guess it's time to come clean. So I told him everything that he didn't know. I told him the doctor believed I had psychosis as a result from my injury from Felucia and not the inner conflict theory he had. I told him that I'd been feeling much better since taking the pills and haven't experienced anything since then.
(Remember she doesn't remember anything about that night or the next morning.)
He shook his head, disappointed in my secrecy, "Skywalker, know does he?"
I shook my head as I looked down at my blanket. I was fidgeting nervously with the corners, "No he doesn't know anything." I admitted.
"What don't I know?"
My eyes darted up to the entrance of the room and Anakin was standing there with a curious look, "Nothing." I responded with slightly wide eyes.
Yoda lifted his cane and hit me on the arm, "Tell him you will." He demanded as I rubbed my arm with a scowl.

Anakin's POV
Master Yoda left to give (y/n) and I some privacy as she told me what she had been hiding from me, "Why didn't you tell me any of this before (y/n)?" I sighed as I ran my hands through my hair. This whole time I thought she was just having nightmares. Why wouldn't she tell me that it was something more serious than that?
She reached forward and grabbed my arm, "I was trying not to worry anyone," Then she sighed, "And if I'm being honest, I was also being selfish. I was worried I'd be taken out of duty."
I shot her a glare as I pulled my arm from her, "That was selfish and incredibly irresponsible. What if something happened to you out there and you got worse?" I snapped at her, I felt bad for yelling at her. But she has to understand that hiding this was far from okay. If I would have known, maybe I could have helped her, I'm not sure how, but I would have tried at least.
"It's not like I can't get hurt here too, look where I am now Anakin." She sighed as she threw her hands in the air before bringing them back down to her thighs.
I shook my head with narrowed eyes, "This was an unfortunate accident. But out there," I pointed away from her towards the outside world, "You are constantly at risk." I sighed as I looked away from her, "I love you and I'm so happy that you're okay, but next time you might not be."
"What are you saying?"
"I'm saying that you are off of duty, I will be taking control of your battalion until a doctor and the council clears you." I spoke with authority and I looked up to meet her gaze.
She shook her head with a look of disbelief, "I already told Master Yoda that Im doing better. I haven't had any hallucinations in over a week."
I nodded, "And I'm happy to hear that. But please understand that I'm not willing to risk you, this is serious (y/n). You need real time to recover and until the hallucinations disappear without the need for medication, you're sitting out. I'm sorry but my decision is final."
"Your decision? You have no authority over me."She snapped and I let out a sigh, I didn't want to fight with her, not when I almost just lost her.
I made sure the door was closed before walking up to her bed and I grabbed her face to look into her eyes, "I know I don't, but the council will agree with me. But know that I'm not doing this to be a dick Princess," I spoke softly as I rubbed my thumb along her cheekbones. Her angry demeanor melted away into something more sincere, "I'll never be okay if anything happens to you. Please understand that I'm only doing this because I love you and I care about you, I need you here with me always."
She sighed with defeat, "You're right Ani, I'm sorry. I'll stay out until it's deemed safe and I won't make a fuss about it. But if anything happens to any of my men on your watch, I'll kill you." She smiled innocently and I let off a chuckle.
"Thank you for understanding." I pressed my forehead to hers.
She nodded and lifted her face up to graze her lips on mine, "So, did you miss me while you were out on your mission Skywalker?"
"More than anything." I responded with a smile as I leaned forward to kiss her.

"This is absolute ass." (y/n) complained as she pushed the plate of hospital food away from her.
I shrugged with a chuckle, "I'm sorry, but this was all the mess hall had."
She groaned, "I could go for some fries and a shake right about now, that sounds so good." She turned to smile at me and I already knew what she was implying.
I shook my head, "If you think I'm leaving this temple on a fries and shake run, you're crazy."
She gave me her puppy dog eyes, "Please Ani." I wasn't giving in, so I shook my head again. She scowled at me for a moment before she smiled, "If you do, I'll do that thing you've been asking me to try." She spoke slow and flirtatiously.
My interest was suddenly peaked, "Seriously?" I asked with a grin. She better not be playing with me or I swear..
She nodded, "Oh yeah, I'm sure I can get my hands on some force-restraint cuffs too, to spice it up." She smirked and I don't think I've ever stood up faster.
"Say less."
I was about to walk out of the door when a certain someone blocked my path, "Hello Anakin how are you?"
I held in the uncomfortable feeling I had, "Hello Chancellor, I'm doing well."
He smiled, "Good, good. I came here to see-" His eyes darted behind me and he practically pushed me out of the way, "Oh my dear, you're awake, how are you?" He asked her in a soft tone as he sat in the chair I was just in.
I didn't feel comfortable leaving now. She smiled back at him, "I'm good, I'm honored you came to see me."
"Of course," He placed his hand on hers and I narrowed my eyes at it as I stayed in the doorway, "I came by once before, but you were sleeping. I thought I would try my luck again and lucky is what I am." He chuckled.
She laughed along with him then turned her gaze to me with a confused look, "Are you gonna go Ani? I'm starving." She pouted slightly.
Palpatine then looked at me, "Don't worry, I'll stay her until you return Anakin. She's in good hands with me, I assure you." He smiled then he turned his gaze back to her. They way he looked at her was.. off. It wasn't in a creepy romantic way or anything, but it was almost like a look of fascination.
I finally nodded, they're in the temple, she's safe here no matter what, "Yeah, I'll be back Princess." I turned and left the room with a sigh, I needed to relax and not think the worst out of everyone. He's the Chancellor and nothing more..
