12-Little Problem

"Can anyone hear me?" I whispered into my comlink, praying that I was close enough to get a signal to someone outside of this ship. After being pulled in, I was met by droids, the stupid ones, so I took them out easily enough. But now I'm hiding among the Malevolence from Grievous and from what I could hear, he's got a search party going for me.

I heard a bit of static from my com and my heart raced at the hopefulness that I reached someone, "General (y/l/n) is that you?" The voice of Master Mundi came through and I sighed with relief. There was a lot of static, but I could still hear him enough to understand.

"Yeah it's me, so there's a little problem. You see that big ship?" I questioned and I was hoping he wouldn't freak out, that is, if he didn't already know. I'm not sure if my clones have spoken to him or not.

I heard him sigh, "You're on it aren't you?"

"Yup." I responded bluntly and I heard him sigh again. He always hated working with me, I had a habit of getting myself into some pretty dire situations. But unlike idiot Skywalker, I've never needed a rescue, if you don't count Felucia or that pirate situation, my numbers were still better than his. Let's just hope I won't need a rescue today too.

"How did this happen?" He asked with an equally worried and frustrated tone.

I stuck my head out of the room I was currently hiding in to see if there were any droids. I could hear them walking around so I pulled myself back in and did my best to keep quiet, "Ray shield."

"I'm going to have to contact the council to discuss-"

"No don't do that," I cut him off, the last thing I need, is Master Yoda flipping his shit, "It's going to be fine." I sighed knowing it most likely won't be, but I had a plan. Granted it's not a very good one and I have a good chance of dying, but it's still a plan, "I know he brought me on here to use me as a bargaining chip against the council. But I think Grievous has made a mistake bringing me on here. I think I can take this place down from the inside. I can get to the control area and set the self destruct."

"That's a suicide mission General (y/l/n)."

I shrugged, "Well it's only suicide if I don't get out in time."

He sighed again, I could tell he was really hating this plan, "I think we should really talk to the coun-"

"No, you know there's a chance they will not agree. But this can be a huge turning point in the war, it could even help us win if I take down Grievous." I tried arguing with him as I looked down the hallways once more, to make sure there were no more droids before going to look for the control room. I saw none, so I stepped out and began walking while holding my wrist, "Look before you try arguing again, give me one hour. If you don't hear from me or see this place blow to holy hell, then that means I'm captured and you can do whatever you want."

He sighed with defeat, "Alright but only forty-five minutes then I'm calling them."

I smiled victoriously, "Sounds good to me. Also if I happen to die, can you please tell Skywalker I said fuck you." I thoroughly blamed him for this, he just had to say that crap before I left.

"Is that really what you want your possible last words to be?" I heard him give a small chuckle.

"Oh yes, I wouldn't want it any other way," I smiled to myself, "You'll hear from me soon Master Mundi."

"I hope so."

Well he sounds confident.

~*~•~*~

Thirty minutes, it's been thirty damn minutes and I can't locate shit in this place. I am this close to stopping a droid and asking for directions.

"Have you found her?" I heard the familiar deep mechanical voice coming into the same hall as me.

Oh fuck, I quickly ducked into the closest room to me and hid. I turned around to see where I was and my jaw dropped, "Stop what are you doing in here?" A battle droid held his blaster up to me. Well I'll be damned, I'm in the control room.

I held up my hands, "Hey I'm just here to," I gripped lightsaber and sliced at the droid. I deflected the shots that were fired at me from the other droids and jumped over the first set of consoles to kill the ones there. I smiled at the scene in front of me, I truly am awesome.

"Ah General (y/l/n), did you really think I wouldn't know you'd come in here?" I turned around to the voice and was met face to face, with General Grievous. Now I jinxed myself.

I shrugged with a sigh, "I guess I was hoping you were as stupid as you look."

He narrowed his eyes at me and gestured for the five, no, six IG-100's to enter the room, they held their electrostaffs out, ready to use them on me. Along with more battle droids pointing their blasters at me, "You won't win this General, surrender." He walked towards me and they all followed behind him. I sighed and held my hands up in defeat, I really wouldn't win this, there were way too many of them. He reached over and grabbed my lightsaber from my hand, "This will make a fine addition to my collection," He began coughing violently and I held in a smirk, "Take her away." One of the droids slapped force restraint cuffs on me and they pushed me out of the room.

3rd Person POV
The council room chairs were filled with each of the council members. Including Anakin Skywalker who was standing just behind Obi-Wans chair, "I'm afraid I have some troubling news." Master Mundi began speaking from a hologram that stood in the middle of the room. His eye contact was directed to Master Yoda. This caused Yoda to feel uneasy, he was beginning to worry that it had to do with his former padawan, "General (y/l/n) and the 419th were successful and destroyed the separatist cruiser before it could cause anymore damage to us."

"Well that's not troubling news." Master Windu spoke up before Mundi could finish.

Mundi sighed, "I'm not done Master Windu. According to Captain Max, not long after, General Grievous came out of hyperspace in his cruiser, the Malevolence. He," He paused for a moment, he knew this news would come off as disturbing for Master Yoda. Although no one knows how deep his attachment is, besides Obi-Wan, everyone did know that he still cared for her. Which is normal for Masters and their Padawans, "He caught General (y/l/n) in a ray shield and pulled her in. We haven't heard from her in almost an hour." He finished and the council room grew silent. Everyone was worried for her safety, none of them wanted to lose another fellow Jedi. Especially not so soon after losing Luminara.

Obi-Wan felt saddened, he was worried that she wouldn't make it. He knew how ruthless Grievous could be. Not only that, but he knows Master Yoda isn't going to take this news lightly, and neither would Anakin. He knew that he was in love with her, he's not stupid. He knew from the day that little Anakin came to his quarters to tell him about the Princess that came to talk to him for the first time.

Anakin tried to remain calm in front of everyone, but his grip on Obi-Wan's chair was tightening. He told her not to be stupid and get caught. He may have said it in a fucked up way, but he was only trying to hide that he really did care and wanted her to stay safe.

"An hour?" Master Yoda broke the silence as he tapped his cane angrily on the carpeted floor. He couldn't understand why it had taken so long for him to be notified of something like this.

Master Mundi nodded with guilt, "She contacted me not long after being pulled inside, she wanted to try and take the ship down from the inside."

Why would she do that idiot do that? She should have told us that she was in trouble, I would have went for her. Anakin thought out of frustration.

"Let her you did?" Master Yoda growled as his hand tightened in the cane, "Inform us, you did not. Help her sooner, we could have." Too late, it could be. He thought out of sadness.

Mundi looked up to Yoda apologetically, "She said if she didn't contact me soon, to call you so you know she was cau-" His hologram was being cut out. They could see him still trying to talk to them. But the image kept breaking, until finally it was gone. But it was replaced by a new one.

"Ah perfect, look at all of the Generals." Grievous spoke before coughing violently, "I have something of yours." He stepped aside to show (y/n)'s body being held up in a containment field.
(like the one Obi-Wan was stuck in, in AOTC while he was talking to Dooku.)

She was alive and breathing heavily, she was exhausted. Her eyes were closed and she had her head tilted to the side. She was trying to savor these moments of relief.

(TW: Torture)

"Precious little thing isn't she," Grievous stepped closer to her, he had her lightsaber in his hand, "So fragile." He pressed the blade against her cheek causing it to burn her flesh, she let out a blood curdling scream that sent shockwaves of anger, pain, horror, and heartache through the council members. Obi-Wan lifted his hand behind him and over his shoulder to set it on Anakin's, whose fingers and knuckles were bright red from gripping so hard.

"Stop." Master Yoda practically begged. Although he was angry, he was more heart broken than anything.

Grievous pulled the blade away and (y/n) once again, sighed with relief as she dropped her head back down in exhaustion.

"Tell your troops on Geonosis and Kashyyyk to surrender, or I will kill this Jedi scum." He spat and  began to cough violently once more. (y/n) finally opened her eyes, the first pair of eyes hers landed on, was of Master Yoda. She weakly shook her head, telling him 'no'. She didn't want to be the cause of thousands of troops deaths. Her eyes then landed on Anakin Skywalker, she wanted to tell him the truth about her feelings, she felt this would be her only chance. But before she could say anything, someone else spoke first.

"That isn't something we can do." Master Windu sighed, although it was meant to be directed to the council, Grievous of course heard.

He brought the lightsaber back up and placed it on her right shoulder, "You might want to reconsider."it burned through her clothes and she screamed in pain. He then dragged it down in a diagonal line, creating a long burned gash across her chest. Her screams were more intense than first time as the burning pain was becoming too much for her.

"Please stop," She begged in her weak voice, "Please just kill me." She didn't want to be the subject of torture. Nor did she want to be a bargaining chip.

Anakins heart ached at the sight and sound of her pain. It hurt to hear her beg to die, "No!" He reached out towards the hologram of the girl. He was scared for her, he was terrified that she was going to die, and the last words he ever told her was that he hated her. When it wasn't even true.

"Your troops have two hours or the next call you get will be of her dying by my hand." He growled as he hung up.

Master Yoda didn't say anything, he hopped up off of his chair and walked quietly out of the Council room. All eyes followed him but no one said a word, most were too horrified by what they witnessed to say anything. The only two to follow him were Obi-Wan and Anakin.

"We'll leave at once Master Yoda." Anakin was the first to speak, to break the uncomfortably sad air that surrounded them as they walked along the hallway. He knows he told her that he would never go for her, he had said that he'd never do the same thing she's done for him countless times. But he never meant it. He'd always go if she needed him.

"Master Yoda, Anakin and I both will find her, we promise you that." Obi-Wan tried comforting his little friend.

But Yoda wasn't listening, he had his mind filled with the moment he met the girl. She was only two, alone and abandoned on Alderaan begging for food. He felt the force in her that day and scooped her up to take him back with her. He's loved her like she was his own ever since she fell asleep with her little head on his lap that day. Almost 800 years he's been a Jedi Master, always followed the code to no end. But she changed that, she gave more meaning to his life than he ever thought was possible.

He sighed as he walked along the carpeted floors, "Bring her back you must. Only you I trust to." He dropped his head down sadly along with his ears.

"We will not fail you, she will be home soon." Obi-Wan assured him before looking to Anakin, "Let's go, we need to get there as soon as possible. We can't risk him jumping into hyperspace either so we have to be discreet."

Anakin didn't need him to tell him that, he already knew. In fact, he's been thinking of a plan the second he learned she was taken aboard the ship. He was determined to get her back, she can't die without knowing his truth. Wether she feels the same or not.

(y/n)'s POV
"You're stupid if you think they're going to risk losing an entire war for one Jedi Knight." I snapped at General Grievous who has recently returned after being gone for an hour. My wounds were still burning, especially the one he had placed along my chest. That one hurt like holy hell.

He chuckled, "Ah but Count Dooku tells me that you're not a normal Jedi, that you're the former padawan of the Jedi Yoda himself. He also tells me that you're important to him, so he will not want you to die." He began coughing violently in my face.

I scrunched my face in disgust, "Dude breathe mint." His breathe smelt like death.

He narrowed his eyes at me once he stopped coughing, "For someone so clearly about to die, you sure have a smart mouth." He reached his mechanical hand up and tightly gripped my chin, "Once the troops surrender, I will take pleasure in killing you." Of course he never planned to keep his word.

I told Master Yoda no when it came to accepting Grievous's deal, I can only hope he respects my wishes, "They won't surrender either way, so you might as well kill me now and get it over with." I'm accepting death, for the good of the republic. I just hope my Master forgives me for leaving him. He was the person I thought most about right now, but there was still another on my mind who was equally as important, Anakin.

Grievous loosened his grip on me and shook his head, "They still have one more hour and I think I know how to pass the time." He cackled as he walked around so he was now behind me, "I heard you were tortured by pirates years ago," I heard the sound of a lightsaber igniting and I clenched my jaw, preparing for the worst, "I'm going to make that feel like it was a vacation."
