Why did I make this instead of actually making progress in one of my stories?

   Cause I'm too tired and sore (FROM CLEANING MY GOD) to put in the energy

   I'm cracked outta my mind and I have so much yet so little energy so ima just rant about my favorite character deaths in games!!! Ofc ranking them as the ones that made me cry/sob the most :333

   These are ranked by yours truly, and you know I have bad opinions so expect bad ranking lmao

Now I was gonna make this 10 but I literally can't think of many characters deaths rn my brain is so done 😭

Sooo here's five for now and maybe I'll make a part 2?

   BUT FIRST 4 HONORABLE MENTIONS THAT ARENT DEATHS BUT ARE THOUGHT TO BE DEATHS

   - Final Fantasy IX
   Zidane 'death' and Vivi's death
   I'm sorry, I don't care that they didn't have a good relationship, Zidane showing up at the end alive at the play literally made me GAHH it made me sob my fucking eyes out. Also Vivi, the best character in the game, died at the end too, but we didn't get to see much reactions besides him talking during the end sequence

   - Final Fantasy VI
   Celes 'death'
   I ABSOLUTELY DESPISED CELES AND THOUGHT SHE WAS STUPID AT AGE 11. I'm now almost 15- and in the past 4 years I've grown to love her character. The way she sorta pulls a Sunny and yeets off a cliff after Kefka takes over the world, thinking that all of her friends are gone- GAHHHHH HEARING HER THEME NOW MAKES ME CRYY

   - NEO: The World Ends With You
   Week 3 Day 7
   ... the end of the game broke me. In many different fucking ways. All the characters die literally twice- and the second time you think they're gone for good for a solid hour. I can't ever recover. Shoka's was the worst tho, with her whole reveal as Swallow and how she actually cares about Rindo like GAHHH STOP. Just Rindo's reaction thinking all his friends are dead after trying so desperately to save them just hits hard man.

Her death is overhyped. VERY overhyped.

Usually when people rank character deaths in video games, they rank this one the top spot.

But me? Nahhhh it didn't hit me that hard

Sure, I used to tear up whenever i heard her theme, but now its an overused joke, and it's not funny like stair jokes, those will always be funny lmao (OMORI FANS IM COMING FOR YOUR TOES)

Anyways, I have not played the remake yet, so her death could be more impactful there idk

I don't know, she was just kinda there. I liked her, but she wasn't like, the best character

And yes the reactions are sad but they aren't gut wrenchingly sad like the ones on the list further on

YES. I PUT XIONS DEATH BEFORE AERITHS. FIGHT ME BRUH.

This death would be higher up especially after playing 358/2 days for myself and absolutely bawling at the end buttttt come on.

You gotta admit this death is goofy. No, not Goofy dying in KH2 by a boulder, no, goofy ah.

Sure, her slowly going manic and fighting her is a real tear jerker, but the dialogue BRO.

When your best friend dies from your hand basically and all you have to say is, "who else will I eat ice cream with?!?!" ☠️ so relatable am I right?

I have a fucking poster of just the two of them in my room. And that's all Roxas had to say when she was dying. LIKE BRUH-

But if you were sad, she somehow gets revived in KH3 soooooo her death basically meant nothing :33

I'm literally gonna get so much hate for this- most of the people I know on here are die hard OMORI fans (like me)

Sure, every time I read a fanfic depicting the bad ending, I literally sob and shit everywhere, but that's not canon (I could also put Basils death in the neutral ending in this spot, but I felt this one was more appropriate)

Having to control him with no other choice by to jump is mostly what made me cry

I was sobbing while My Time was playing like dawg- ☠️💔
