We know that the people in this series are all really powerful, but some just tend to be really super duper strong, and that's what we'll be dealing with here! Enjoy!

#5 Kuraiko Hirose

It's no secret that Kuraiko is a really strong trainer. Even tho only her Togekiss, Samurott and Lopunny are known, she convinces everyone of her strength by demonstrating her straight-forward battle style and the amount of damage she can cause. Her strength does fit her personality too. She's just breaking through fortresses like a queen of destruction.

#4 Chris Edwards

Chris is labelled the strongest junior trainer, and he does make good on that reputation. He sets on attack and defense powers rather than tactics, but that's enough to almost completely destroy everyone he's since faced (except for Jayden). He's a feared opponent for a reason because he's a monster of skill and power.

#3 Mari Sentaku and Jayden Yagami

Yes, both of them are on the same rank- simply because they're equals. They've fought 5 battles throughout the whole series... two victories for Mari and Jayden each and one draw. This is a prove for them being equal in strength.
Mari is a feared opponent due to her creativity in battles. She will find a way to somehow bring you down, no matter how hard it is. She is skilled and relentless and oftentimes underestimated, too.
Jayden lacks knowledge, but he does make that up through his strength and unpredictability. He is a fighter and he will put up some harsh headwind for his opponents.

#2 Dino Adachi

Dino may be arrogant, but unfortunately, he has all right to because he absolutely demolishes every opponent, even tho just two of his Pokémon (Pinsir and Hydreigon) are known. Even Mari wasn't capable of defeating him out of herself, which actually speaks for his strength. The only time he was absolutely decimated was when Kuraiko, Jayden and Laslow went up against him together in their battle royale.

#1 Laslow Steward

This is actually not much of a surprise. Laslow is the strongest trainer because he combines tactics and intelligence with caution, attentiveness and strength. You have to be full-on focused if going up against him or he will absolutely make mincemeat outta you. Laslow is capable to calculate the moves of other trainers by simply watching them and he is able to see when someone makes a mistake- and he will use that mercylessly. A victory against Laslow never is an easy task to accomplish (except your name is Taji and you can control an Ultra Beast). Laslow took down 100 Ultra beasts in the blink of an eye, so NEVER go easy on him. He will make sure you pay for that.

Now, let's move on to the strongest trainers of GoH.

#5 Rei and Hikari Mihara

Known as the 'Light of Unova' these twins are considered strong. Their parents are move tutors and so, they know how to properly train Pokémon so they learn certain moves. They are said to have defeated gym leaders without needing to switch out their Pokémon. Which actually is a really great reputation to go with.

#4 Akira Heavens

Akira can take control over a battle by forcing his opponents to switch out using moves like Roar or Volt Switch. He is talented without question and shows why he is an opponent tough or even impossible to beat.

#3 Solace Wiveria

Solace destroys his enemies in battles. His Pokémon show great endurance and durability plus great strength. He first demonstrates that by defeating the Light(s) of Unova, so never go take it easy when you face him.

#2 Taen Kataoka

Taen is considered the strongest member of SE- for a reason. His Pokémon are trained to be fast, enduring and demolishers (like his Drapion. Sniper+Scope Lens+Sword Dance plus Critical hit on X-Scissor or another physical move will be a freaking one-hit kill). Never be sure of victory when you fight him.

#1 Ruuko Steward

Some people will now say: Suuuure he is the champion, but nobody has ever seen him fight for real- WRONG. There is one specific battle in which Ruuko shows his strength, and that's his show battle against his older brother, Laslow. Both weren't able to inflict a scratch on one another. In SoT, Laslow is considered the strongest trainer- and with Ruuko being capable to keep up with him shows that he is an in-battle monster.
