SoT and GoH both tend to be cruel at some point... but they also are really funny here and there, so let's dig into this and rate our top 5 most funny scenes in the franchise (mixed). Let's go!

#5 The Cocoa Torture

A really funny scene was in GoH before the start of the PWT. Makoto was still out and Yukine suffered a mental breakdown because he couldn't drink his cocoa until he showed up. And when Makoto finally redeemed Yukine of his suffering, the entire group just... started making fun of it. Yukine's heavy protests really made my day!

#4 The Trauma

Another funny scene from GoH was when Lucian somehow... went on brainfart and "accidentally" said something about Tori being "too big" for her shirts... and Tori chased him as a result. It was sorta funny (not for Lucian of course).

#3 The Chain Reaction

Another truly funny scene in GoH is the chain reaction at the table. It was all caused by Aella putting cat ears on Yukine- and then, everything just goes wrong. What started with Yukine trying to hide underneath the table ended with Tori getting hit by Solace's hot tea after someone else bumped into him. The only ones that got away unscathed were Makoto, Taen and Elma. This scene was so ridiculously funny that it just stays on people's minds.

#2 The Water War

In GoH, there is a scene where Lucian teaches Taen how to swim- but it actually goes outright wrong. Lucian engages Taen into a water battle and... Taen tends to go overboard because he takes battles very seriously. So we end up witnessing a scene where they both are having the most epic water battle in history, with Lucian executing police grips on Taen while his cousin keeps performing super-duper epic dodging and attacking moves. And it's merely an arceusdamn water battle. Nonetheless, this scene is so damn funny!

Before me move on, here are some honorable mentions!

-The Jumpscare Scene

You recall the scene where Jayden was jumpscared by Melody's Banette in Judgement Arc? This scene was so freaking funny (not for Jayden tho).

-The Size Fight

Remembering the dark scene that happened before where Jayden almost started a destructive fight with Laslow in Eclipse Arc, the scene that followed almost made us forget it happened. Laslow and Kuraiko mocking Mari for being the tiniest person in their crew from the Unova cast really had some comedy right there. Who didn't start laughing while reading it? (Eclipse Arc "Size War")

-Bad Cook

Remember when, in GoH, Ruuko allowed Jacky to use the kitchen? That went totally wrong. Afterwards, Jacky was constantly mocked for her inability to cook, and when she asked Mari to come over because the boys finished her off, Mari made up an alliance with the brothers. This scene was so damn hilarious and funny (not for Jacky tho). (Reference: Virbank Chapter "War in House Steward")

Aaaalright, now let's move on to our number one!

#1 The Shower Accident

Let's be honest, this scene was legendary. It occured in SoT 2 in Icirrus Arc in the chapters "The Shock" and "Injured". Mari randomly went by Jayden's room and noticed the door was open. So she looked inside, noticing that his room was a mess. Being irritated, she started removing the chaos, not knowing Jayden actually was busy showering. As he was about to leave the bathroom being only dressed in a towel, they both died of a shock. This scene was just absolutely hilarious and keeps being mentioned throughout the story here and there.
